I walked out furious, he was just so heartless! After deciding to spend the night with Crash, knowing that it would be uncomfortable, I went back to the cells.
The girl was waiting for you there, looking ticked off. "Girl, the one thing I said was don't tell Blake. And what do you instantly do? I might be an evil spirit, but at least I keep my promises."
I rolled my eyes. “He didn’t even care anyway,” I walked straight past her and back to Crash. “Hey, I’m back.”
Instantly he was on his feet, pressed up against the bars. "You're staying now, right? Did they say I could have my powers back?"
I shook my head. “Yes, I can stay for the night but, I’m sorry. I tried but he just didn’t care. Said he was doing it for your, and the places safety,” I slumped down on the other side. “He said, in your state, extracting could take up to a week and he wanted me to convince you to help them, but I can’t do that. It’s your choice,” I hung my head. “I’m so sorry.”
He crouched down, shaking his head in confusion. "I don't get it. I don't get any of it. What do they want from me? I don't have anything." He looked so much younger when he was scared, like a lost little kid. His hand reached through the bars and found yours, almost without him realizing what he was doing.
“Blake said that very few people have the power we have, he want’s some of it to change his fate. He gets it by taking a bit of your aura and by doing so you lose your childhood memories or as many as you like. He said that you will do great things some day. Me as well, yet he was more hesitant about it.”
"My aura?" Crash paused, trying to connect the word with a meaning. "Oh, he means my light. I can't give that to him, I need it. Who cares about memories? I don't remember being a kid anyway." He fiddled distractedly with the zipper on his jacket. "Great things?….whatever. I just wanna go back home."
”Same,” I let my head rest against the bars. “I hope Luke and Nathan get here soon.”
He didn't reply, just sighed in exhaustion. After a minute, you realized that he'd fallen asleep, still holding your hand.
I looked down and smiled slightly and gave his hand a small squeeze. “We’ll get out Crash, I promise.” I soon fell asleep as well.
(We're getting good at this! I have to go for a bit, see you a little later?)
(Totally, I’ll be here all day since I’m not doing anything I think)
(Okay then, I'll be back soon ^^)
(Hello again :) )
(We might need to do a little planning for what comes next)
(ok, I'm all ears)
(heyo. I guess the main question is, how hard do we want this to be for our characters? We could have them reunite and escape fairly easily, or we could have something come up that keeps them in trouble for a while longer. They also have to figure out a way to get these baddies permanently off their backs, which could be pretty difficult.)
(I think there should be problems getting away. Blake is a great antagonist, and this could be really interesting the way it's going.
Ways to defeat him… often when it involves gods it's either a world-wide battle or a banishing of some sort, so maybe we should avoid a classic end…?)
(Hmm. Not to easy, there still needs to be a struggle involved somehow, yet if we make the escape to hard they are never going to be able to formulate a plan to permantly defeat the bad guys. So we could maybe make the escape not to hard but something really bad happens for the main fight?)
(This would actually make a pretty good book or I just love writing so much I like everything. Either one)
(Maybe Crash or Maddie (it would make sense for it to be Crash, I think, since it would take a long time to 'extract') sacrifice themselves to appease Blake for a while, and during that time, the remaining trio fight all of Blake's forces and slowly kill them off, and then unite their powers to defeat Blake (like a sort of coven spell, but less dark). Just an option, it would be kind of hard for Crash or Maddie to die considering one of us would stop being in the rp… or maybe they take over Blake or Luke? I'm not sure if it would work, but it's an option.
I agree @"Carys L Roberts" this rp is amazing)
(If someone can convince Crash that it's good idea to give his energy over, than I think that would work. I have Luke as well, he could be in the main battle.)
(I like the sacrifice idea, we don’t want anyone to die necessarily but in the end fight we could have someone “die” if we wanted?? Dunno just brainstorming)
(Considering what we've seen of Crash's personality, I think that if someone came up with that plan and said Blake would need to be distracted, Crash would sacrifice himself as the distraction. Maybe I misjudged, idk)
