@ElderGod-Carrots

“I won’t,” I stood up and made my way out of the cells and up into the main part of the house, glad to be away form all of the gloom down there. When I arrived at Blake's study I knocked, instead of barging in like I did last night and waited for a reply.

@ElderGod-Carrots

I opened the door and stepped inside, still marvelling at the size of it. “Do you ever leave this room?” I asked as I took my place at the same chair from the night before.

"Since you asked," he said conversationally, "I am currently in two other places at the moment. One in Bangladesh, one in northern Vermont. So no, this part of me rarely has to leave this office." He laced his fingers together and smiled at you. "Is there something I can do for you this morning, Maddie?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Well, I’ve been talking to Crash and we have been discussing this whole ordeal and we have come to a conclusion. If you train us today, powers or no, we might accept your offer. We wanna see what you would be willing to do before we accept anything.”

Blake looked at the ceiling thoughtfully. "Hmm. Training, eh? I'm glad the two of you gave yourselves time to come up with a rational decision together. I would certainly be happy to arrange some lessons for you, Maddie. I'm not sure that Crash needs any training, however. He's hard enough to control as it is. Why should I give him any freedom?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

“He will be more inclined to help you if he has some freedom. Besides, he wants to break some stuff, and I’ll be there to calm him down if things get out of hand.”

He chuckled at that. "I suppose you know him best. I can at least give him a room filled with indestructible objects to play with." He stood up. "Just for you, Maddie, I will leave this room today. I foresee that this house may need to be rearranged slightly. Come along."

He walked down to the ground floor and into the dining hall, which was currently empty. "Now then," he said. "I might as well let my employees know what's going on." He glanced at his wristwatch and tapped it three times, which must have been some kind of summoning because every shadow spirit from the night before was suddenly there, jostling each other in annoyed confusion.
Blake clapped his hands briskly. "Attention. I need a volunteer to keep the demon busy."
Dead silence.
"Waiting…" Blake raised his eyebrows.
Finally, when no one volunteered, he sighed and pointed at a scruffy boy in tactical gear. "Trius."
Trius flinched. "But sir–"
"No buts. You will await my orders." To you, he said, "You might want to stand in the doorway for this next bit."

The others joined you, watching warily as Blake stepped into the center of the room. He stood, his head bowed, concentrating.
Around him, the room began to take itself apart. The walls split into sections, the ceiling lowered and slowly shattered, and the lights hovered patiently in midair until they were needed again. Carefully, like a conductor, Blake rearranged the pieces of the room into two rooms, divided by a giant glass wall.
He opened his eyes and smiled brightly. "There we are. Two training rooms, at your service. Does it meet your standards? Should I add anything?"
(my hands are killing me from speed-typing XD)

He dipped his head, pleased. "Thank-you. Now then, let's bring up your demon friend and see what he thinks." He waved his hand at the room on your right, and suddenly Crash was there. He yelped and jumped back in surprise, then saw you and literally collided with the glass trying to walk over to you. "Maddie? What's going on? The air is hard right here!"

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

"Okay. What to I get to break?"
Blake coughed and gestured at Trius. "Him. Have fun, Trius."
Trius gave Crash the stink eye and reluctantly teleported into the room with him, ignoring the snickers of the others.
"Maddie," Blake continued, "will be instructed by me, Kaiser, and Morgan. The rest of you are free to watch, if you like."
Morgan stepped forward, along with a tall man with cold eyes and very long black hair. They nodded at you.
(I have to go to bed soon, just so ya know)
