@Simon-Says

Huh, I just randomly found this but like this is kind of a cool thing you're doing, it's definitely gonna help some people understand and/or get ideas for their books

nope nope nope. This is not one of those threads. We only talk subject matter here.

@HighPockets group

Out of sheer curiosity, where does one draw the line for human and nonhuman relationships?
I'm talking fae, supernatural beings, aliens, etc.
Not animals, because miss me with that fuckery

Damn Jynnie you gave me a mini heart attack.

I would say….if it looks more like a beast than a humanoid, it's bestiality.

Deleted user

That's what I think as well. Faeries and stuff that look human? Okay
Werewolves are on thin fucking ice
Wampas? Hell naw

Werewolves in human form – yes
Werewolves in wolf form – no
Werewolves in half/half form – no

you're really not gonna like my series then lmao. people have animal qualities based on where their ancestors lived when a certain meteorite hit and released radiation

They're humanoid so it's okay. They're not looking like my Boi, Beast from Beauty and the Beast.

@HighPockets group

As long as they're humanoid, it's okay.
Twi'leks, Torgrutas, Mirilians, Zeltrons, Pantorans, those are fine.
Ewoks, Hutts, Wampas, whatever the frick Sy Snootles is, those are not fine.
Twi'leks better be fine or my number one OTP would be bestiality and that would be a big yikes

@HighPockets group

As far as I'm aware, Twi'lek/human hybrids are the only mixed species kids ever seen in Star Wars (at least in the new canon and from what I've read/seen of it)
Although Sy Snootles had an affair with Ziro the Hutt. HOW WOULD THAT EVEN WORK???

How long does it take for a woman to realize she's pregnant? I have a character who has a 1 night stand with a friend and gets pregnant and I'm trying to figure out how long it will take her to realize she's got The Big Pregnant.
Also, how physical can the woman be without miscarrying? Both Trinity and Francesca are very physical characters (especially Francesca, her go-to weapon is a bat with nails stuck in it) and I need to make sure I'm not stretching what they do too far.

  1. It really depends on the woman. Obviously when she misses her period she will know, but most know before then. Especially if they are super in tune with their body, they will kinda know that something is off. Not to mention that most early warning signs begin before the missed period, ie: morning sickness, fatigue, etc.

  2. Again, depends on the woman. I once met a woman that didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth and she worked as a firefighter paramedic all throughout her pregnancy with no issues. But I also have met a woman that slipped and landed on her bum only to miscarry the next morning. So I think if you keep them aware of the fact that they are preggers and make the effort to at least be cautious about their physical activity, I think you should be okay.
