Salmook huffs in acknowledgment, but he doesn't take his eyes off of Tseth-friend and the danger-lady.
"Tseth-friend… why Tseth-friend do that?"
Salmook huffs in acknowledgment, but he doesn't take his eyes off of Tseth-friend and the danger-lady.
"Tseth-friend… why Tseth-friend do that?"
(because he needs weapons)
(wheeze)
Tseth walks back to Daphne and Salmook fairly quickly. “See, I’m back. Nothing to worry about.”
Salmook shakes his head at Tseth-friend. He steps back, keeping the now very much armed Tseth-friend at a distance.
"Scare me. You! Why need the killstuff?"
(Shiny)
Tseth sighs. He lowers his voice just in case anyone else might be listening. “I plan on getting out of here, and I’d rather be armed going against staff members than not. I promise I won’t hurt you, okay?” He shows his hands to Salmook. No weapons in them.
Salmook isn't all too convinced by that. He grumbles.
"Promise? Promise no hurt Salmook?"
Another step back. His bear-cloak puffs again.
"You sure?"
Daphne glances around awkwardly, not entirely sure what to say at the moment. She shifts her focus to trying to fix her hair, which has been a wreck since she got here.
Tseth nods at Salmook. “I’m sure, kid. I promise.” Really, right now he looks the least-threatening he’s been since he got here. But now he’s armed, so it doesn’t say much.
Salmook hums in thought. He wants to have someone to trust here, but his instincts tell him otherwise. Where has trust gotten him before? Nowhere good, that's for certain. But Tseth-friend is different - at least Salmook thinks so. He's definitely not village-folk, so that's a good start, at least.
Salmook shivers a little, coming out from behind Daph-friend.
"Ok… Salmook think good. Not scary? Friend?"
Daphne’s attempt to fix her hair somehow made it look worse than before. She drops her hands back to her side, visibly annoyed. She looks back down at Salmook. I honestly don’t blame Salmook- Tseth’s pretty scary, especially to a little kid like him, probably.
(blep)
Tseth smiles at Salmook when he stops hiding behind Daphne. “Friend. Yeah. Now should we check out what’s in our rooms?”
"Want food, no want boring-bore room. What do in there? Me already rip things up!"
Salmook might just hate his room more than he hates the jabby-people. It's a tough call, really, and though he's hungry, he'd rather not just sit around and wait for something to happen. Maybe if he was strong enough to throw the table it'd be more fun? Yeah, right.
Salmook's hands drop to his hips. He takes a moment to consider something - a spur-of-the-moment idea that itches.
He lowers his voice to almost a whisper, which is the most quiet Salmook's been since he got here.
"Salmook go Tseth-friend room."
He's not really asking, more telling Tseth-friend what he's planning.
( 👁 )
(wheeze)
(Somebody toucha my spaghet)
(im waiting for tseth to respond to a demon child that's still half scared of him coming into tseth's room-)
(I know that’s why I’m poking)
(is forgetting to respond an acceptable excuse)
(no.)
(You pathetic waste of space /j)
Tseth stares at Salmook for a few seconds before standing up. “And why would you need to do that, kid? We all have the same stuff.” Daphne’s room had the same stuff as mine, so I’d assume at least. He takes another glance at Daphne, a silent call for help more than anything. He mostly just didn’t want Salmook to rip anything in his room up.
Salmook tries to hide a hurt look. Poorly.
"Sal… Me-Sal think it better… Me be good. Promise-promise! No rip-tear, yeah? Me just no want be bore… Please?"
