(not going to be super active tonight, sorry)
Hatta kept whistling, taking a deep breath.
(It's fine!)
Aliana went back to humming her voice starting to grow quiet again. She felt off but thought she saw a new path coming up and hoped that would get rid of the feeling.
Hatta continued whistling, though it got a little quieter.
Aliana went silent as one final shudder ran through her body and she didn't bother to stop and think as she went down the left path at the crossroads hoping it would take away the fear slowly rising within her. She needed to keep it at bay for Hatta's sake. He already had so much on his plate.
Hatta twitched his shoulders a little, staying beside her, his eyes darting around.
Aliana looked to Hatta not quite feeling the growing fear and pressure disappearing, "Everything alright?"
Hatta nodded a little. "Mhm." he replied, clearing his throat softly.
"Okay," Aliana said glancing around the path. She took a deep calming breath feeling some of it dissipate.
Hatta was silent as they walked now, taking a deep breath to control his mind.
Aliana started to hum again omce she felt the fear go away. She wanted Hatta to be able to do something and conversation felt like it might be to much.
Hatta started to whistle again, closing his eyes for a moment.
Aliana glanced at Hatta as she kept humming though her humming was softer than his whistling. She made sure of that.
Hatta continued to whistle, hands shoved in his pockets.
Aliana stopped her humming to listen to Hatta. She wanted to just hear his chaotic whistling.
Hatta continued, the melody spinning and spinning and getting less controlled as he went.
Aliana heard it spiral out of control and quietly asked, "Want to tell me a riddle?"
Hatta blinked slowly, focusing on her and stopping. "Right. Riddle. Uhm…" He thought for a moment. "What has hands but can't clap?"
"A clock," Aliana responded with a grin and some certainty.
Hatta nodded quickly. "Yes." He raked a hand through his hair.
Aliana thought for a moment and asked a riddle back, "What goes 'ha ha' thump?"
Hatta blinked slowly. "Oh. I…don't know." He replied, looking at her carefully.
"Someone laughing their head off," Aliana responded with a little laugh.
Hatta laughed. "Ah. Why didn't I guess that?" He replied.
Aliana giggled slightly as she shrugged, "I don't know. Now it's your turn."
Hatta chuckled, and thought for a moment. "What has one eye, but can't see?"
