Aliana was late to react, but she looked up at him and gave him a dopey grin before stumbling over and leaning against his side, "Yeah?"
Aliana was late to react, but she looked up at him and gave him a dopey grin before stumbling over and leaning against his side, "Yeah?"
"…what are you doing?" Hatta asked, looking down at her in confusion.
Aliana shrugged and she giggled a little, "Don't know. I feel really floaty. Floaty. That's a fun word."
Hatta narrowed his eyes. "Are you drunk?" he asked, wrinkling his nose in concern.
"No?" Aliana paused after some thought before giggling and thinking hard, "I. I don't think I-I drank anything. I just started to, to feel floaty."
"You're acting drunk." Hatta replied.
"I am?" Aliana's eyebrows furrowed slightly. She, she didn't understand what he was saying. She was acting normal right? She was just a little floaty at the moment.
"Yeah." Hatta said slowly, narrowing his eyes a little and watching her.
Aliana giggled a little and felt her eyes droop a little. She didn't know why, but her sudden calm felt ripped away as heavy tiredness and… Something else set in, "Can, can we go back?"
Hatta nodded. "Yeah. Come on." he replied.
Aliana gave him a nod, but she still felt floaty and grabbed for something to hold onto reaching for Hatta's hand, "Okay."
Hatta let her take his hand, and led her back the way they had come.
Aliana couldn't shake the floatiness or any of the other feelings. Even when they were back where they started.
Hatta watched her carefully.
Aliana gave another giggle and looked to Hatta, "Are, are we there yet? I still feel, feel floaty."
Hatta shrugged a little. "I don't know." He replied.
"Can, can we be there?" Aliana blinked a few times trying to clear her eyes and head.
Hatta shrugged. "I don't know, can we?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
"I don't know," Aliana responded a slur taking her words, "Iz not my decision."
Hatta sighed, and shook her shoulders. "Aliana! Calm down."
"I, I am calm?" Aliana looked at him her eyes unfocused.
He sucked in a breath, shaking his head. He didn't know what to do. "Aliana, please."
"What's wrong Hatta?" Aliana asked her unfocused eyes looking concerningly at him. The thick cloudy gaze now more visibly there.
Hatta frowned. "You aren't acting normal." He replied, crossing his arms.
Aliana paused before a thought finally pierced through the cloudy haze, "I'm not… Why am I not acting normal? What, what's going on?"
