"Okay," Aliana responded giving a little smile, "Thank you."
"Okay," Aliana responded giving a little smile, "Thank you."
Hatta nodded. "You're welcome." he replied.
Aliana nodded her head slightly and looked to see another fork in the road, "Which way?"
Hatta sighed. "I…don't know." He said after a moment.
"Let's go right?" Aliana suggested her voice wavering slightly.
Hatta nodded. "Alright." He led Aliana down the path, keeping an eye out.
Aliana was hesitant and wary after the last time she made a decision like that went. It took them to get to the point where she couldn't see the way they had come from to finally relax once more.
Hatta waited to see if she would get upset or sense something.
Aliana looked to Hatta with a happy look, "I, I think we're fine."
Hatta nodded, and smiled. "Alright. Good." He replied.
Aliana gave him a grin. The only thought running through her mind is that she didn't screw up.
Hatta smiled a little in return, and continued to walk.
Aliana started to hum as she walked finding herself wanting to skip, but forcing herself not to.
Hatta whistled along quietly, his counter melody eerie and climbing along in a strange, almost discordant way.
Aliana listened to his whistling and found it strange. Her mind remembered about how he had said whistling was a way to 'control' his madness and figured this strange whistling might be an indicator that he was getting worse.
Hatta continued to whistle, the melody climbing and trailing and skittering around.
Aliana looked to Hatta and stopped humming. She asked quietly, "Are, are you doing okay?"
Hatta blinked, and took a deep breath. He nodded. "Mhm." His head was worse today. He didn't know why.
Aliana paused for a moment not entirely convinced, but she didn't question further. She nodded once and continued to hum as they walked along.
Hatta started whistling again. His Melody still worked with hers, but it was still that strange, dissonant thing.
Aliana started to work her melody around his, so they fit better together.
Hatta continued to whistle.
Aliana's humming turned to singing as a chill went down her spine. She forced herself to ignore it since they had been safe thus far.
Hatta glanced at her, then away again, continuing to whistle.
Aliana continued to sing focusing her mind on getting the melody to fit with his. She took a breath and then felt another chill. She was growing annoyed wishing it would go away.
