Hatta got out his own book, and started reading.
Hatta got out his own book, and started reading.
Aliana sat down and read the book losing herself in the pages.
Hatta started reading as well.
The time passed quickly and the maze started to get dark and cold to the point where Aliana couldn't read the pages. She glanced up at Hatta before looking back down pretending to be able to read.
Hatta stretched and sighed. "It's too dark to read." He grumbled.
"Yeah," Aliana agreed closing her book, "I can try to start a fire?"
"If you want. Or we can just go to bed." Hatta replied with a shrug.
"Can we just go to bed?" Aliana asked a little timidly. She was tired and hold habits were rearing their ugly face once more.
Hatta nodded, and took the book, putting it away. "Yeah. Let's go." He stood up.
Aliana kept the book in her hands as she stood up grabbing her backpack with her free hand. She looked to Hatta, "Um, you first."
Hatta nodded, and went into the tent, crawling into his sleeping bag.
Aliana stepped into the tent and laid down in her sleeping bag. She closed her eyes and let out a slow breath.
Hatta snuggled down into his sleeping bag and sighed softly.
Aliana glanced at Hatta opening her eyes for a moment before shutting them again and falling asleep quickly.
Hatta fell asleep after just a few minutes.
(Timeskip?)
(Yes please.)
(k. Want me to do it?)
(If you would please.)
(alright)
When Hatta woke up in the morning, he was curled up in a ball with his back to Aliana.
Aliana shivered slightly as she awoke with a shot up her mind just having gone through a new nightmare. She had been almost killed not once, but twice before being dragged by Hatta into the same old same old from the past two nights. she held herself and glanced over at Hatta glad to see he was fine.
Hatta himself hadn't slept all that well either, his dreams a confused, tangled mess that even he didn't dare try to decipher. He had learned a long time ago that the more he stifled the madness in the daytime, the worse his dreams were.
Aliana was very quiet as she asked Hatta, "Hatta, are you awake?"
Hatta sighed, and shifted. "I guess." he mumbled sleepily. "Why?"
"I, I was just curious," Aliana came up with a quick excuse She really wanted to make sure he was alive but felt it would be wrong to touch him.
Hatta grumbled sleepily. "Mm. Alright." he rolled onto his back, looking at the ceiling of the tent.
