Marlene slumped on her seat, ready to go to bed. It had been a long day, and though she had enjoyed the last couple hours, she was ready to hit refresh.
"Alright. You're good to go." He says cheerfully as he pats her gently on the other shoulder.
She smiled greatly and pulled herself up and back to her room, promptly collapsing on her bed to sleep.
He walks towards his room as well, collapsing on his bed before falling asleep.
(time skip? can you start it?)
(Sure)
Antoine woke up, yawning softly. He exits his room and walks into the kitchen, blinking tiredly.
The smell of bacon and honey woke Marlene on the next day. As she sat up and rubbed her eyes, she noted that her shoulder was sore, but not in any more pain. Good. She hobbled on tired feet to the kitchen to see what Antione had made today.
Antoine was humming to the radio, laughing softly as he does. "Morning."
"Morning. My shoulder feels way better, thanks." She turned down the radio's volume a bit. "Too loud for the morning, crazy." She laughed.
Antoine sighs. "It was quiet though!" He says, laughing softly. "Now. Do you want your eggs sunny side up or scrambled?" He asks.
"Sunny side up. Always." She replies, almost groggily.
He chuckles softly, nodding. "Sunny side it is." He makes the eggs, toast, bacon and smoothie. "Here you are, m'lady." He says cheerfully.
(was that a miraculous reference)
Marlene took the breakfast gratefully. "Thanks. What are today's classes?"
(Possibly…)
"Mmm. For me I have mostly medic classes." He says, shrugging.
(I love that show)
"Hm. Mine are psychology, engineering, and English." She sighed. "I do hate engineering."
"Pfft. Biology, organic chemistry and Sociology." He says, humming as he checks the bacon.
"Beat philosophy, humanities, and languages." Marlene laughed.
"I have to take all of those, plus a few more." Antoine laughs.
"What? Why? I'm only going for a bachelors degree." Marlene shrugged. "Don't have much planned."
(I have like 0 knowledge on college degrees so excuse me if it's wrong)
"Phd." He says casually.
"Oh. Makes sense now." She puts up her plate and swings her bag over her shoulder, making sure it has her dress just in case. "See ya."
"See ya. Have a good one." He waves at her.
