He kissed her back, wrapping his arm around her. He pulled away after Samuel walked off "smooth,"

she laughed barrying her head in his chest.

He leaned his own against hers and stroked her hair "so I take that as you're not playing his game anymore? you've turned this into your game."

"So smart" she said.

He grinned "I try, sneaky sneaky kitty, my kitty. I'm proud of you."

she kissed his jaw and smiled up at him.

He groaned softly and nudged her with his head, affectionately

"shhh were at a gala" she said.

He rolled his eyes "like anyone here hasn't seen worse."

"brink your groaning".

"Again, nothing these people havn't seen before."

she laughed again barrying her head in his chest once more.

He kissed her temple "you're not dancing or socializing? thats a first…" he mutterd

Nine months later Vanessa walked out of the hospital room with a black haired baby girl .

Brink glanced at the child "give me one good reason why we can't dye her hair?" they had been arguing this since Vanesssa had gotten released and brink wasn't about to let it go

"because we already have a kid with your hair" she said.

(I'm guessing Jester is 3 ish?)
Brink glanced at the kid, holding his hand and ruffled his hair "so then whats one more?" he asked, tilting his head and smiling "we can dye your hair as well if that makes you feel any better." he ran a hand through her Vanessas hair

Vanessa slapped his hand hard and gave him a death glare.

He laughed, unfazed by her mood "My kitty's getting feisty, I love it!" he glanced down at the girl in her arms "Just as beautiful as your mother. You both are going to kill me, I hope you know that."

Vanessa raised an eyebrow and rolled her eyes.

He chuckled and raised Jester to his shoulders, letting him tousle his hair "I haaaaveee a sister!!!!!" he sang happily

"Now you have to protect her " vanessa said with a smile "can you handle that?".

Jester nodded and saluted "yes, yes I can." he confirmed with a quirky smile

Vanessa smiiled and looked down at Veronica.

Jester smiled and played with his dad's hair
"jes, what the heck," He slapped his hands away playfully
