The Knight gave a soft giggle as he used one of his hands to lift up her chin, wanting her to face him. He made sure that the wrist he released wasn’t going to be used against him by activating his ‘ability’, locking it the way he left it.
”C’mon dear… don’t be so shy… I won’t be so rough on you…” he leaned even closer. Close to a point where his armor was touching Adara’s body. He still kept her chin up, nearly touching her lips was where his face was.
The faint sound of footsteps and talking can be heard coming from a different hall; the hallway Ada was being pushed against. It sounded like a woman and man were talking to each other about… rebirthing…?
”So am I. I wanna help but sorry, that’s none of my business just yet” the female quickly said as she ran down the field. More likely than not, the person she was looking for was in trouble.
Jade shrugged and continued on, her eyes darkening a small bit more than what they were when she came into this wretched place. She frowned as she walked thinking of Asra and Julian, thinking of how they were doing without her tears welled in her eyes. (Julian the plague doctor is back)
As Jade would explore the Labyrinth’s features, she would come across a building with a large telescope coming out of the top of the dome-like roof. The doors that led inside the building was slightly opened.
"an Obersavatory? It's door is open but I don't think I should go in" Jade mumbled to herself as she stood at the doors thinking of what to door then finally decided to go into the building warily
Inside the building, the lights were mostly off except for one side of the building where two candles stood.
”Given that he died on the battlefield… he shouldn’t have had time to hide those treasures far…” a young male voice was by the candles. The faint imagery of an arm holding a red marker can be seen by the candles.
”Perhaps… here—“ the sound of the marker being pressed against a paper came from the side of the building ”—or here…”
”To a place furthest from any cave systems in the Labyrinth; named the Corpse Plateau” the Knight replied casually. That name might have lit up curiosity sparks in Kye if he was indeed interested as to where the name came from.
"That old latin? It sort of sounds like it. Can you tell me what it means?" Kye asked looking to his companion.
(will reply in a minute aka tomorrow cause my girlfriend is aaaaaaahh)
Adara took his split-second distraction at the voices as an invitation to shove him away. She heaved with all her might, pushing him against the wall, arm against his neck, choking him, while her other held the knife she had slid from her sleeve against his cheek. She glared up at him. "Don't try that ever again," she said in a low, growling voice. Flames sparked in her eyes.
She stepped away from him and slid her knife back into her pocket, turning and walking towards the sound of the two people talking.
(perhaps…)
Matthew soon followed though Serena held on to his sleeve for a bit.
”Hmm? What is it?” Matthew asked.
The scientist muttered something under her breath, a bit too soft for anyone to hear.
Once she realized that she couldn’t say what she wanted to without worrying someone, she stepped back and gave both her brother and his friend a goodbye with a cheerful smile before going back to her desk.
Matthew blinked a bit before he turned to Hinata.
”Let’s go”
Hinata was even more concerned when Serena acted as she did, worried.
"Okay then," she said, but she looked at Serena again.
"You'd tell us if anything was wrong, right?" she asked.
The Knight stepped back into the middle of the hallway… and smiled.
”Sagitta de cordibus vestris…” he mumbled quietly, not loud enough for Adara to hear. When he finished the spell, a golden bow along with an arrow with a heart-shaped tip appeared in his hand. He took his aim at Adara and pulled back.
”Just…” he took a breather ”…give in…” he paused ”…to your desires…” he fired the arrow which was aimed at Adara’s heart.
However, when the arrow was fired, it created a deafening screeching sound within the hall, one that Adara had to hear.
Serena gave Hinata a weakened smile.
”Of course!” she, though, answered energetically.
Matthew was slightly worried about his sister as well. She did seem off… yet he didn’t bother to question her. He knew her well enough to know when she was seriously in trouble.
”Well? Jonathan first or Aisen first?”
(Find Jonathan first)
(Find Aisen first)
"Jonathan," Hinata said to Matthew. She didn't push either, figuring Serena wasn't in too much trouble. She was still concerned, but she mostly pushed that to the side for now.
”To Auroral Hospital it is” Matthew stated before waving one last time to his sister as he guided Hinata towards the exit of the Research Building.
”Stay safe~!!” Serena regarded as she returned to her table.
"Will do," Hinata said in response, then followed Matthew out of the exit. "You think Jonathan will agree to this?" she asked.
”Hopefully. If not, we’ll have to talk to one of the other doctors and I’m sure Cassius will disagree” Matthew regarded with a small giggle.
As they were walking towards the hospital and passing the faint fog of the Labyrinth, they would cross paths with a… Knight.
The Knight in question had a rather sharp and black metallic armor on with a helm shaped like the ‘Clubs’ shape in a deck of playing cards. They also wore gloves and almost every part of their body was covered with the armor, revealing only their lips.
Matthew gave the figure a glance.
”Sup, heading back to the palace?” he said simply to the figure as he passed by.
”Yup, they got a mission for me again” the secretive Knight answered. His voice was rather young, perhaps even younger-sounding than Matthew’s. They then passed by Hinata before stopping and turning around.
”Got a guest Matty?”
”Yea—well, a friend, actually. She’s Hinata Hayashi, the Balance Keeper” Matthew replied.
”Oh…” the Knight then turned back to where he was headed. He paused a bit then quickly turned back and ran towards the two that were headed to the hospital.
”YOU’RE… WHO AGAIN?!” the Knight’s tone seemed excited.
(I laughed way too much at this)
Hinata had stayed quiet through the encounter, hands in pockets. She nodded to the figure when Matthew introduced her, offering a polite smile. She figured the conversation had ended when the Knight left. Of course, she was proven wrong when he ran back and yelled.
"Hinata Hayashi," she said smoothly herself this time. Oh god, no please no. So, this person was one of those.
"Balance Keeper."
(you’d be surprised as to how much subtle comedy I put into this ‘Jack of Clubs’ character XD)
Matthew laughed at the interaction a bit before he moved to the armored figure’s side.
”This is J’Ouler, we just call him Jo. He’s a senior of mine but it feels like I’m mentally his senior” the Nature’s Messenger clearly teased the other Knight.
”You fricking brat” the armored Knight hit Matthew’s head with his palm once as Matthew gave a small ‘ow’ sound.
”J’Ouler Bassen, pleasure to meet you. And sorry, I got excited there—“ the man stepped back a bit ”—I misheard your name for an idol I’m a fan of. You do have the same last name though so that’s cool” the masked Knight gave a nervous laugh.
(I’m going to sleep now, see ya in 7 hours or so :P)

Jade looked at the figure but stayed close to the wall in horror WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO! her eyes wide but she focused on her heartbeat to keep it quiet
Oh god, he wasn't one of those, he was one of those.
"Oh, really?" Hinata said. If this man was referring to the person he was most likely referring to, it was best that Hinata was the one he had run into. "Interesting. It's been mentioned to me before." She gave Matthew a little look, mostly one of If he's talking about Michi you'd best not mention us being sisters. She smiled sweetly then.
She winced at the noise, covering her ears. She turned to see where it was coming from - and noticed the arrow speeding toward her. She didn´t know what kind of arrow it was, assuming that it was a normal arrow. What she did know is that she did not want to get hit with it.
She jumped to the side and the arrow whistled past her. She scowled. ¨I hate it when people try to kill me.¨
Fire sparked in her palm, forming into a flaming whip, which she snapped at him.
(I’ve come with a bit of bad news. Swimmy won’t be able to come online for approximately four months due to personal reasons, which means that Hinata’s storyline will have to be paused. This will be a problem to the main storyline to say the very least as Knights from each of your storylines will interact across each other. Which is why I’m sorry to say that I will have to pause the roleplay here until Coral will come back.)
(With that, though, I do have a question. If I were to make “gallery roleplay” showcasing most or perhaps all of my characters in their natural state, would you all be interested to see that? I do have more than a hundred characters to showcase if you wanna see that but if not, I’ll try to figure something else out to kill the time)
(We could also do tours of each others worlds. Like have a couple characters each come to each others worlds and get tours of how things run, what people are like, background info on our stories, lore, etc.)
(Just a thought that I think could be fun. But I also like your idea so either way I'm cool with whatever.)
(So am I! I like the ideas, though.)
(Sweet! We might just do as Rachel said, having characters explore each others’ worlds. That could be fun)
