Thatcher began to climb down the ladder. While this was dangerous, and he knew he could break something if he fell, he wouldn’t die from his wounds.

@KoffeeOwl

I really wanna try and get this rp going again, but a timeskip wouldn't work because you're doing something with Desvelarse. I might open some spots up again for the people who haven't said anything in the past few pages. ))

@KoffeeOwl

I might just close off the spots of the people who haven't been saying anything because opening this up to new people would be kind of hard at this point. But for the four of us who are still in this, something I've done before is timeskips for specific people if those rping are separated enough. We could possibly do that…? To the next day, maybe.))

In the few hours that had Sariel had managed to stay awake after James left, he stayed on his couch watching the news and pushing away the plants that had made their way onto the furniture. Eventually, his phone started ringing, waking him up and causing Bamboo to sprint out of the room. Glaring down at his side, Sariel turned the alarm off and cleared away the leaves and stems that were covering him and the floor around the couch.
After around twenty minutes of running back and forth, looking for his work uniform that had been grown over, -which was nothing other than a white shirt with black pants and an apron labeled with a clay pot- Sariel shut the front door behind him and started walking toward the subway. While walking through a crowd of people, he added a note in his phone: Buy fencing.

@ShadeStar

James had stayed up late diving back into the world he swore he would leave behind. He yawned when his alarm went off, he was going to be late… Again. Which meant the subway… Again. He really hoped this wasn't going to become a habit of his. He quick got dressed, and ran down to the subway. He yawned as he got on to the subway and spotted Sariel. He gave him a small wave.

@KoffeeOwl

Pocketing his phone, Sariel stepped onto the train and almost immediately noticed that James was there again. Waving back, he waited a few seconds before moving around the few people that were standing in his way. "So are you late a lot, or is your job far away?" He asked, sitting down on one of the benches that were bolted to the wall of the train. Surprisingly, it didn't seem to be as crowded as the day before.

@ShadeStar

James sighed as he sat down next to him. He rubbed at his eyes trying to remove whatever was left of sleep from them, "Both. Normally I get up earlier enough that I can walk there, but this is the second day in a row I haven't gotten up at the right time."

@KoffeeOwl

"I usually try to wake up an hour or so before I have to. Otherwise, I'd probably get fired for being late all the time." Sariel said, briefly eyeing James. "Not to be rude or anything, but you look a lot worse than you did yesterday. Did something happen?" He asked, thinking of how rattled he must appear to people half the time, being so pale and unattentive. But that's normal for me, other people usually don't look as tired.

@ShadeStar

“Hm?” James looked over at Sariel a bit out of it. Once his words registered in his head he responded, “Oh nothing happened. I pulled an all-nighter reading. Fell asleep at my desk and honestly, I regret it.”

@KoffeeOwl

"At least you work at a coffee place," Sariel said, looking out of one of the windows to see where they were. Two more stops. He thought, unzipping the book bag that he had carried onto the train with him and beginning to untangle the strings of the apron he had thrown in the bag.

@ShadeStar

“Ah yes, and I get a free cup a day,” James responded a bit more upbeat then before. He wasn’t just going to be dead all day long, he could get caffeine in him.

@KoffeeOwl

"How is it working in a place like that anyway?" Sariel asked, remembering that the day he had been there, the singular room had been packed with people and clumsy servers.
