"So," she said, yet again, this is becoming a habit, Trying to change the subject, to ease the boys troubles, or at least well, ease them "What do ya'll think of fire?" She rubbed her neck, exposing a burn. Feeling the air on her exposed neck she moved her hair, covering it again.
(Sorry to halt so quickly, I have to go to lunch. I'll try to be back later, I just don't know)
"Fire's fun," Aliana said whimsically, "The way it moves so flowingly and how hot it can burn. When people start screaming as they burn to death is a nice plus too."
Kaz gave Vaughn a confused look. “Uh, yeah? I thought that was pretty obvious,” he said. “I thought I would have mentioned it at some point,” he laughed awkwardly
Vaughn pursed his lips and have a loose shrug. “It wasn’t that obvious. Doesn’t matter anyways, I don’t judge,” he said, shifting his posture so he was sitting up a bit more.
Kaz breathed a small sigh of relief. “That’s good to know. I mean hell, you’ve been blipping at the edge of my gaydar yourself for a while now,” he joked. “No offense,” he added quickly, realizing Vaughn might take the comment offensively
“Wait, what? What’s that supposed to mean?” Vaughn asked with a frown. But his tone wasn’t saying it like he was offended. No, he seemed more conflicted and confused. He had been questioning his sexuality for a short time,
“It means you don’t seem entirely straight, smart one,” Kaz responded, trying to suppress a laugh. “What, you never question your sexuality? Not even once?” You should make him question it. Pin him to a wall and- He cut his mind off before it could finish, trying to think of anything but that sort of mental image
God, Vaughn could not believe he was even talking about this. “I don’t know, I mean, I guess I’ve thought about it before..” he admitted, looking away and at his hands, his fingers tracing shapes on the table top.
“Well hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Being gay is great, I mean I’ll never have to worry about accidental pregnancy or something,” Kaz chuckled. “Hell, I know a guy who didn’t know he was gay until he was older than dirt.”
"The screams.."Jules practically whispered. ¨I- He burned, I burned, he died, I didn't, now I'm here. I don't talk about it and that's all you're going to know, chica." Jules' voice held a new edge as she recolleted his screams, Not my fault. Control or be controlled "Anyway.."She trailed off, Do I smell smoke? No, you don't, get it together, I didn't do it. Stop! I dropped the match..No I didn't, yes I did, no I didn't, yes I did, no I didn't. "Anyway, I'm supposed to be getting a roommate, they never said who. Any idea?" She said, acting as if nothing had just happened.
“Well hey, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Being gay is great, I mean I’ll never have to worry about accidental pregnancy or something,” Kaz chuckled. “Hell, I know a guy who didn’t know he was gay until he was older than dirt.”
“And you think I might be gay?” Vaughn questioned, brow furrowed. Oh, was he confused about himself.
"Maybe it's the guy who stayed with us last night because his room mate wasn't here," Aliana said, "Maybe not. What do I know?"
"This guy?"Jules said pointing to the guy sitting with them.
(sorry for the one line)
“Well that’s what my gaydar says, pal. But you might not be straight up gay, you could be like, pan or something,” Kaz responded, fiddling absently with his sleeve. “Here, let’s try this. Pick the two hottest people in the room.”
"Hm?" Aliana looked to the guy. She giggled, "Maybe. I can't really remember."
(sorry for dipping in and out, i'll brb, I've got stuff, lol)
“I don’t want to answer that question” Vaughn murmured, biting at his lower lip. He probably would have said the girl that Kaz had been talking to, or, as much as he didn’t want to admit, Kaz himself.
Kaz held his hands up in placation. “Alright, alright, don’t have to answer. But usually the two people you pick are a good indicator of your sexuality.”
“I think I like both…” Vaughn said slowly, hand moving off the table to rub at his own knee. God, did he just want to go back to the bedroom.
Kaz seemed to beam at that. “Really? Congrats, man!” he said, elbowing Vaughn’s arm gently. “That narrows you down to bisexual and pansexual mainly, but there’s other stuff out there too.”
Vaughn flinched slightly at the touch, jaw clenching a tad. “There seems to be a lot of things out there these days…” he murmured, knee bouncing now.
“Well, welcome to the gay side bud. We have tea and and cookies at the welcome table,” Kaz joked. “But seriously? Being gay isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be. And if anyone tries to give you shit it’s gay code to help another gay out. And I will break someone’s face.”
“You? I bet,” Vaughn said, rolling his eyes a tad as he did so. Well, maybe Kaz could put up a fight with a non trained person. Vaughn had already proved himself.
“Hey, just because you kicked my ass earlier doesn’t mean I couldn’t kick someone else’s ass,” Kaz huffed, making an exaggerated pout as he looked up at Vaughn
…He probably would have said the girl that Kaz had been talking to…
(is it her flirtatious behavior? ;) lol, completely kidding, btw. I'm too tired for jokes.. XD )
