Vaughn’s brows raised when Kaz actually got up and went over there. He would have never been able to go up to random people. Wasn’t that unsafe? He was sure that there was something talking about how you shouldn’t talk to strangers. And was he worrying about Kaz? What was wrong with him?
Tenor looks up. Footsteps. Tears. A cautious smile. What are ya doing just sittin there boy! Get up so 'e can't hurt you! An image, of sinking his teeth into the man's throat, of feeling the man die underneath him.
Kaz knelt down next to Tenor carefully. “Hey, you alright?” he asked. He knew it was dangerous to go up to someone like this, but he couldn’t help but be a little concerned
Jules woke up to a voice screaming in her ear. "20 minutes to get ready!" Shit. She sat up, rubbing her eyes. Did I sleep on the floor? Yep. I did. She went to the closet she dumped her clothes in. She grabbed a stretchy black tank top and a pair of ripped jeans. New roommate today. She thought wondering what they would be like. They won't like me, no one likes me. She went into the bathroom and went through her normal morning routine. About 15 minutes later, she checked her makeup one last time in the mirror and dashed out into the hallway.
(I'm back, lol. When do my girl and Tenor become roommates?)
(Damn, gtg byee..I'll try to get on later)
Tenor looks back up, eyes shining. "Hello? I'm not okay. I'm crazy." Man. Good looking. Caring about him, no someone wouldn't. Tenor isn't worth it.
Kaz chuckled. "Don't worry, we're all crazy in this hellhole." He held out a hand tentatively. "My name's Kaz. What's your name?" he asked softly
(Hi! Im bk. For a bit anyway.)
She walked towards what appeared to be the cafeteria. Do I have to talk to people? She walked in and took in the scene before her.
There were two boys in the corner, one whom appeared to be having a panic attack. Should I go over? Is it safe? I shouldn't be here.
(Sorry I only had like 5 minutes!!!! I'll be back tomorrow, 'round 9ish if Tenor wants to meet my girl Jules. Okie, byee)
Vaughn watched Kaz and the other with a skeptical look. Strangers are dangerous, the whispers reminded. He chose not to worry himself with it, and he rested his forehead against his arms to rest his eyes a tad more.
(I'm here, around 9ish lol)
Jules decided to sit at the table closest to the door, the one closest to a possible escape route. She sat down without getting any food. She didn't usually eat until dinner time, she just was never hungry until then. Jules kicked her feet up and scanned the cafeteria.
(Hella tired, don't wanna be at school)
(Nobody's been on all day.. 😞😂)
After a few minutes of sitting around she decided to approach the two boys. I won't get anywhere if i don't apply myself and maybe they'll know about this whole "selection" thing? The thing I was "selected for, without my permission..! She got up and walked over. Flipping her hair she said, "Hi, im Jules, Jules Whittaker. Y'all have any idea about this test/selection/whatever-the-hell-this-thing-is, is?"
(Gtg! Night! Sorry for spamming lol)
Kaz looked over at the new kid, squinting up at her through his glasses. "Uh, hi. No, we don't have any real idea of what's going on. All I know is the food is better than normal cafeteria food, surprisingly," he joked
"Is it alright if I sit down? My back hurts, I slept weird." She winked, implying something that didn't happen. She then laughed, throwing her head back and showing her teeth. She knew it was over dramatic but, she didn't care. She wanted to make an impression and this guy was kinda cute.
(he gay af tho.. thought it would be funny if she hit on both the gay guys, if you want me to change it, I can, I'm really tired so my mind is being slow)
(lmao Kaz would just immediately go 'I'm gay and I think he is too' while pointing at Vaughn lol)
Kaz arched a brow, shrugging. "Knock yourself out I guess," he said, adjusting his sleeves so they covered his bandages better out of habit
"So..what's the run down on the place? Who's who, who to avoid, how to get.. anything really.. Damn it's chilly in here," she said, rubbing her arms, " You were right to wear a shirt with sleeves. Oh, I almost forgot to ask, what's your name?" She glanced around nervously, and went from rubbing her arms to tracing her fingers up and down her tattoo, again.
(That's definitely not my best work but..whatevs..i'm fluffing tired)
Kaz gave her a bit of a look. Okay, nosy kid at the table. He had made a bad decision. "Kaz," he answered simply, not giving her his last name in fear it might ring a bell. He'd rather not reveal his uncle was the CEO of Grey Enterprises, thank you. That would just make his life a living hell
