Vaughn took his time with cleaning off his body, humming as he did so. He ran his fingers through his soapy hair, glancing up towards the ceiling in thought.

(I started cackling h ELp)
Kaz held the pillow to his chest closely in his sleep, shifting here and there. Unfortunately, since he was close to the edge of the bed when he fell asleep, it only took a few turns before he had fallen off of the bed. Thanks to the sedative he hadn't woken up, instead laying sprawled awkwardly on the floor while still clutching the pillow

After a few minutes, Vaughn stepped out of the bathroom, wet strands of hair all across his forehead. He was in a more relaxed set of clothes now, how do ones bunched up in his arms. He set them on the bed before he noticed Kaz on the floor. “Oh, you have got to be kidding me,” he grumbled, walking over and grabbing onto Kaz. Kaz must have been dead weight, because he was a lot heavier than he looked at the moment. Slowly, he pulled Kaz back onto his bed, breathing slightly heavy from the effort.

Kaz frowned in his sleep, and he made a small noise of pain as he was moved. He grabbed at Vaughn's shirt, mistaking his arm for the pillow in his sleep. He clutched it to his chest, and from the looks of it he wasn't letting go any time soon

Vaughn’s eyes widened when Kaz grabbed onto his arm, leaving him stuck on his back next to Kaz on the bed. Oh no he thought as the whispers cackled in his mind. He tugged on his arm to try and get Kaz to let go of him.

Kaz just hugged Vaughn's arm closer to him, frowning slightly in his sleep. He shifted, now half laying on Vaughn as he snored faintly against his side
(oh look, it's the exact same thing that happened when we first got them together lol)

Vaughn only grew more panicked when Kaz moved on top of him. “Fuck…” he whispered to himself. He wouldn’t be able to get Kaz off in this position. And goddammit, why was he aroused? This kid would be the death of him.

Kaz was now laying half on top of Vaughn, the other boy's arm hugged to his chest while one of his legs was slung across Vaughn's lap. He shifted a little in place, not moving much from the same position as he slept

Vaughn layed there, looking up at the ceiling. He tried to think of how to handle this in the right manner. All he could come up with was to wait until Kaz woke up and explain what had happened. But the sedative did last at least a few hours. He would be stuck laying there for a while.

Kaz woke with a start, scrabbling for purchase as he began to fall off the bed. "Shit, shit, shit," he muttered, but instead of grabbing the covers he grabbed something that felt vaguely like an arm and dragged it down on top of him as he fell

Vaughn cursed sharply, falling down onto Kaz when he fell. He looked down at Kaz with wide eyes before scrambling off, falling back. “Goddammit,” he muttered to himself.

Kaz winced, groaning as Vaughn fell onto him. "You're heavy as fuck," he grumbled, moving slowly in an attempt not to hurt himself getting up. A look of confusion crossed his face as he realized he wasn't in pain. "What..?" he mumbled

“Not my fault you were holding onto me,” Vaughn murmured. He stayed sitting on the floor, not wanting to move at the time.

"Wait, I was…" Kaz's eyes suddenly widened in realization, and his face flushed slightly as he realized what he had done. "Oh god, I am so, so sorry, I-ow," he stammered, wincing as he hit his cut palm. Wait…cut? He stared down at his hand, and suddenly everything from a few hours ago crashed down onto him. He gulped, feeling his chest tightening slightly

“It’s fine,” Vaughn murmured, getting to his feet. He would never admit it, but he did kind of begin to enjoy it. He was a bit attracted to Kaz, but he just wasn’t used to the touching.

"No, it's not," Kaz mumbled, getting to his feet as well. He looked down at the floor, testing his weight on his ankles. The sedative must have killed his pain as well, at least for the time being. He ran a hand through his hair, sitting down on the bed and staring down at the floor

“Well, what’s wrong, then?” Vaughn asked. He didn’t know what he should do. He decided on continuing to stand, arms folded loosely across his chest.

"I keep…Doing things that make you upset. And it makes me feel like shit. Because I'm useless and can't figure out how not to make you upset," Kaz muttered, jamming his hands in the front pocket of his hoodie

Vaughn exhaled slowly, glancing around the room as he searched for the words to explain himself. “I act like this with everyone that I don’t completly trust,” he said. “It’s just a mental thing..”

“Okay, well…” Kaz started, staring down at the floorboards. “Is there somethinh I can do to…help you trust…me?” he asked slowly

Vaughn shrugged his shoulders loosely. “I don’t know.. I don’t exaclty talk to many people, so I’m not too good at this sort of thing,” he said, slightly unaware of the fact that that was him opening up.

Kaz nodded along, turning so he was facing Vaughn. He folded his legs, resting his chin in his palms. “Well, uh. I don’t talk to many people either, so I guess we’re kinda stuck in the same boat.” He frowned slightly, thinking for a moment. “Is there something specific you wanna know about me?”

Vaughn stayed standing as he now looked down at Kaz. “Okay, um… What is your favorite color?” He asked, trying to remember his communication skills. Unfortunately, that was things he should have used when taking to a child.
