“Sorry,” she said uncomfortably. I mean, what were you even supposed to say in this kind of situation?

Aliana waved it off, "It's in the past. Besides the guy's dead so it doesn't even really matter."
(CRAP okay I’m here)
(oo sweet now to get everyone stabbed lol)
The scientists lead the two into the elevator, and before they could react the guards slipped blindfolds and strange handcuffs onto them. Kaz immediately snapped. "Motherfucking better let go of me!" he hissed, his tone hinting that he wasn't Kaz at the moment. He struggled against the guard holding him still, growling and snapping at them
“Cool.”
//they’re getting stabbed?
(lol, I gtg but ya'll have fun, lmao. I'm busy a lot this week, don't know how often I'll be online and after that, it's complicated. Baking sucks…a lot of things lmao, it's fun and rewarding once you're done but ARGHKBDKJ!! Byee.)
Vaughn felt slightly nauseous from whatever he had been injected with. And they said mutations. What kind of mutations? That just made him feel worse. Hell, he didn’t even struggle, just walked along with the guards and listened to Kaz throw a fit.
The blindfolds were taken off as they reached the labs. Kaz looked absolutely pissed, and the murderous glint was in his eyes again. "Slit all your fucking throats," he spat before turning to Vaughn. An odd smile crossed his lips. "Not you though, pretty boy. I think Kaz wants you around a little longer." The scientist separated them, dragging them into separate rooms. Kaz was forced onto a table and strapped down, still struggling against the restraints
Vaughn’s eyes had widened at what not-Kaz said. Did Kaz like him or something? He was unable to ask, being dragged away from him. Hold on, they wouldn’t be together? He wasn’t completely close to Kaz, but he didn’t want to be alone either. He struggled a tad with a loud curse, finally putting up a fight. He was strapped to a table, pulling roughly at his restraints. There was a glint in his eye, something a frightened caged animal would share.
Kaz struggled, clawing at the restraints and snapping at the scientist's hand. His head was strapped down as well, and he growled lowly. "I'll kill all you little bitches. Bet I could even get my roommate in on it if I made him happy enough," he said, laughing at the mention of Vaughn. The scientist rolled their eyes, grabbing the syringe filled with sickly green liquid. At that Kaz stilled. If there was one thing his secondary personality didn't like, it was needles. "Better fucking not!" he hissed, and the scientist gave him the same speech as the others before injecting him. "You won't be able to take your meds for 24 hours since they're such high dosage, so have fun," the scientist grumbled before he was wheeled out and back to the room. In Vaughn's room the scientist gave the same speech, grabing the needle and walking over to him
Tenor woke first. Heavy breathing. Hyperventilating.Woozy from the sedatives. Light breathing. Why was someone else in here? Don't worry bout it boy, ain't your problem yet. Tenor is tired.
“What?” Vaughn growled at the scientists words. He had to take his medicine. He’d go practically insane without it. “Get that needle the hell away from me!” He snapped, pulling sharply on his restraints. This could not ne happening. Why did he have to be chosen for this insane experiment?
“Calm down, you can have a final dose before the parasite integrates in your system. You’ll just have to skip a night, that’s all,” the scientist droned before strapping Vaughn’s head down and injecting him. “Go make out with your roommate or something to calm down. If you kiss in the next 24 hours I win 20 bucks,” they droned before Vaughn was wheeled out and back to their shared room
(Lmao they ship it too)
Vaughn hissed sharply at the feeling of the needle deep in his skin. It took everything in him to keep down the food that he had eaten yesterday at the mention of a parasite. And making out with Kaz? It’d be a fine distraction, but it wasn’t like it would go anywhere.
The guards wheeled him away, taking him back up the elevator and into Vaughn and Kaz’s room. They took Vaughn’s restraints off before shoving him inside. Kaz was lying limp on the floor, eyes open and glassy. He had obviously been given another dosage of the paralytic like had happened when he wouldn’t calm down before
Vaughn stumbled a tad, hand reaching out to try and catch himself on his bed, but his blurry vision caused him to miss and fall to his hands and knees. He coughed sharply, groaning as his head and body ached sharply. He blinked his eyes rapidly a few times, trying to clear his vision at least in the slightest bit. “Fuck..” he murmured, voice sounding slightly more choked than usual.
Kaz groaned from his spot on the floor, the feeling finally coming back to his face and parts of his limbs. “Feel…shit,” he muttered
Vaughn gave a noise that was a mix of a hum of agreement, and a pained groan. His hands clenched into fists as he attempted to mentally collect himself. He felt like a mess, not able to keep his thoughts straight. Hell, even the whispers stayed quiet.
Kaz finally managed to sit up, blinking rapidly as he tried to get his eyes to stop stinging. “Heard one of ‘em say you only feel like shit for an hour at worst. Then your neck just hurts.” As he sat up, faint discoloration around the injection site was made visible. The skin around it was turning a faint black, and the veins around it were turning the same green of the liquid they were injected with
Vaughn stayed on his hands and knees, eyes shut tightly. “Bastards,” he spat, reaching a hand up to rub at the injection site. He promptly jerked his hand away with a pained hiss.
Kaz dragged himself up from the floor and walked over near Vaughn before falling less than gracefully to the ground next to him. He was covered in blood, with the source being a split lip and reopened cut on his forehead. His eyes were slightly droopy, and he looked over at Vaughn. “You alright?” he asked quietly
“Are you joking? I was injected with some crazy drug, and I feel like absolute shit,” Vaughn snapped, tone stressed and angry. He wasn’t angry at Kaz. He was angry at the people who dragged him there. The pathetic foster family that threw him in the reforming place to begin with.
Kaz winced, and images of his aunt suddenly flashed through his mind. “Please don’t yell at me,” he mumbled, sounding like absolute shit from his tone. And it was true, he felt horrible. The paralytic has kept him from feeling most of the pain, but now that it had worn off his neck hurt and his anxiety and depression were being absolutely chaotic
Vaughn exhaled sharply, thinking for a moment before slowly nodding. “Okay, I’m sorry,” he muttered. He slowly shifted so he was sitting down, blinking and glancing around in a dazed manner. He was starving, but he also just wanted to curl up where he was and fall asleep.
Kaz nodded without a word. At the moment all he really wanted was sleep and a hug. He felt like he was on the verge of clawing his throat out and having a panic attach at the same time, and he had no one to help. There was Vaughn of course, but he wouldn’t touch him, especially if he was in pain. “I have a granola bar I stole of you want it,” he offered quietly, trying to think of a way to make Vaughn feel better
