(So im slow, first 2 paragraphs are before Liz responds to Eli ;-;)

quickly opened her mouth to say something, but it was too late. Liz was already leaving again. “…Oh. Okay.” She looked down, then quickly finished her hot cocoa. It still did nothing to warm her up, but at least it was yummy. The mug disappeared and the squishmallow reappeared in Ame’s arms. “Never get to talk to her much anymore.” She only ever saw Liz at meetings, and Liz only ever stopped by to talk for a minute or two before leaving again.

Ame leaned back against the tree trunk and watched everything around her. She flinched as she suddenly heard Eli speak. Ah, yes, the local arsonist. She huffs again. “What, do you want us to whisper like those girls in the ASMR videos?”

Ame narrowed her eyes at Eli’s next question. “They all argue too much… besides, I’m not that important. Mom just makes me come because I’m still a general. _Somehow…”

Liz smirked at Eli's retort. But then at his question, it faltered. She looked down at him and blinked.

"I might have a good relationship with Gemma, but I'm no part of Primus." Despite the fact that I've considered it more than once…

She shook her head to get rid of the thought. "Besides… I'm no use at the meeting. Outcast, remember?"

Eli laughed at Ame’s comment. “Sure! That’d be real nice! That way I could punch ya!” He jokes. He honestly hated that whisper sound. But he wasn’t gonna say he’s even listened to that crap before.

He grins at Liz. “And? I set everything on fire all the time. You still see me right by moms side annoying her.” He chuckles. “But anyways. I guess we’re all somewhat outcasts.”

Ame held on tighter to her plushie. “Please don’t-“ It took her a minute to realize that Eli was joking.

She stared at the sky, letting her leg dangle from the tree branch again. “I think the only reason I haven’t been kicked out of the army is because Pandora’s my mother. It’s not like anyone else really takes me seriously… except for Midnight, I guess.”

Liz made a "hm" sound at Eli's response, and then looked up at Ame.

"Welcome to join me and live like a forest haunting. It would suit your ghostliness," she said in a joking tone.

She didn't quite know how to help Ame with her current situation in Pandora's army. She had once tried to help Ame get better at fighting… emphasis on once. But that train of thought could always be pursued at a later date.

duke had been living in the outskirts of the mainland, so far out the great war awhile ago was more of a rumor then a threat. ze has been living in an old rickety manor as the duke of fraightensville, a small duchy consisting of towns. nowadays the rumors have died down, most believe the war is over, some still think it's going on.
hir has lived there for some time now, posing as an entire noble family, although hir lives alone, after all, is not like the people would know anything,
they're some far out the only foreign people are the rare lost adventurers. after rumors of the war ending, duke has decided now was the time to finally see what this world had in store.

duke left with a wagon and two horses, taking nothing from their noble life other than enough food for three days, some cloths, and naturally hir beloved cat and turtle. heading off in the direction of The Empire of Cheesecake.
