(IT'S ALIVE)
Pandora walks around her garden enjoying the quietness of it all. She had been quite close to snapping and turning the rulers insane. Or into frogs. Hm…insane frogs…little insane frogs screaming their heads off. Heh, that would be funny to see. Well, that was something she could consider doing in the next meeting if they wasted her time. She continues thinking as she walks, and she doesn't realize how much time has passed until she is drawn out of her thoughts by a cloud of purple incense in the distance. She stares at it for a bit before going towards it in a mesmerized state.
Pandora never gets to see the person who came with the purple incense, as by the time she arrives, Gemma has already left. A pity, really. But the Sorceress would have to deal with not seeing her mother figure. Perhaps she could see her in the next decade if Pandora was lucky. She glances around wondering if this is where Amethyst had run off. It seemed likely. She was about to call out for her daughter when something caught her eye. A figure. A ghostly figure. Amethyst.
"Ah, there you are. I've been looking for you."
(YAY)
Ame looked over towards the source of her mother’s voice, her face instantly lighting up when she saw Pandora. “Mom!” She quickly goes over to Pandora and hugs her. “Sorry for running off…” She mumbles. “Again…”
Avhira eventually just sits in the hallway of (Pandora's?) Castle, still waiting for someone. Anyone really, to open the door to the meeting room, where she knew people had been
(honey the meeting is over-)
(it's been over for the last couple of pages)
(Im aware.)
(midnight doesnt know what to do now)
Ÿdra holds out her hand, and a ball of black matter condenses in her palm.
"You see, now I'm not particularly asking. You have a talent I need, and I'm willing to do anything to get that talent. I could take your life with a thought if you try and walk off. No matter how many new faces you take - take that literaly or metaphorically, I don't care - I can and will find you. Refusing my request doesn't sound so fun now, does it?" she asks bluntly.
zie thought it over. on one hand, duke could void jump out of this, but would take the cat into the void and leave everything else. also zir'd risk gong somewhere dangerous, and becoming an enemy of 'miss floating whatsherface'. on the other hand, taking the deal was dangerous in itself and zie was never fond of pledging allegiance to anything. BUT, a shananagines would mst likely be included.
duke nodded, "i'll help you for a limited time. once we both have what we need, we part ways, no strings attached." zie said this with a strange look, as if zie couldn't decide if zie was serious or not.

Ÿdra smiles beneath her mask and taps the air.
A keyboard pops up, and she starts typing fast, the words appearing in midair in flashes of glitched light.
After a couple minutes, she swipes the air and what she typed turns around to face Duke.
It was a list of names.
Gabs, Cheesecake Empire.
Eli, Primus de Pulvere Natus.
Chicken, Chicken Cult.
Amethyst, Chancla Kingdom.
Echo, neutral.
Midnight, Chancla Kingdom.
And others, too.
More powerful beings.
"Some of them we need dead. Others, do your best to keep alive. Among the ones we need alive, two are crucial. One is Gemma, the leader of the Primus de Pulvere Natus," she explains.
"The other is the Chicken."
She smirks.
"The ones that would be handy to have are Echo, Midnight and Eli," she continues.
"Kill the rest," she finishes.
She disappears in an assymetrical block of black-ish light.
(Damn ☠️)
(I'm sorry, I have a role to play-)
(sips tea)
(oh wow yes let's just throw me to the wolves how nice 😒 /lh)
(😔)
(I have things to do now) Avhira sensed danger. They jumped up from their seat, where they had been waiting. They couldn't tell where the danger was, so they needed to raise a general alarm. Shut down all of the kingdoms, republics, empires, cults, and everything else around. But… how? They shifted to a bird, flying up, trying to find where the danger was.
It was a little too late for Avhira.
A black pinpoint appears midair, then grows to cover an entire area larger than a soccer field.
Objects, when gazed at for too long, gained multicolored aftertones and sounds became distorted and staticky.
And then.
From somewhere deep in the earth, there was a sound of a thousand bones being turned to dust, of rocks being tumbled and pulverized.
The ground fractures, and from it a figure appears.
Ÿdra grins at Avhira, her face bare of all masks, her malice pulsating through the air in waves, a terrible cacophany of pure, unadulterated rage and terror.
Her bright, violet-red eyes lock onto Avhira's with the finality of a clock tolling midnight, hair raven black hair fluttering in a ghost wind.
"Well hello. I don't suppose you've heard of me, hon, so I'll introduce myself. I am Ÿdra Hauley, the Lady of Void. A pleasure to make your aqcaintence, Avhira," she states politely, her tone so formal yet so full of suppressed mirth.
Via nodded, shifting back into their elven form. "I'd say the pleasure is mine, but I can tell you pose danger to the people of this realm." They said, politely, keeping calm. "As the Protecter, it is my sworn duty to stop any harm from befalling these lands." They finished. "Explain what you would like with them. They are all my charges, and I won't let any harm befall the people." They half-shifted into a wolf, feeling more powerful with a few natural weapons and instincts at their disposal.
(updated Midnight's Lore. TW, its sad)
"I think you are sadly mistaken, sweetheart. You see, there is no stopping what is to come. There never was, nor will there ever be. Because you see, that which is not of this world cannot be stopped by things in this world. I exist outside of your petty constraints, such as time and space. They don't apply to me. Your claws and fangs can rip and tear all they want, the water and wind will eventually wear down the remains until they are but dust in the vast expanse of the world. In this way the weak and small are ground into dust quickly, while the strong and massive endure for centuries. Against such odds, can you, a weak, small, pathetic meatbag bound to the constraints of time and space, beat me?" Ÿdra chuckles. her tone had shifted subtly from polite to calculating, her mirth filling it all out more and giving it a façade of caring.
