Ame turned and looked at Liz, glaring at her. “Stop constantly sneaking up on me, dumbass.” She huffed at Liz, then then continued. “Besides, I dint see that happening any time soon. Unless one if them dies.”

She shrugged, then looked back at Midnight as she gave Ame hot cocoa. She blinked a few times, then took a sip of the hot cocoa, staring at Midnight for a while. “…So you’re the one stealing everyone’s braincells.” She grins at Midnight, then sighs. “…Yeah, you’re right.”

"I always am." Midnight smiled. "Also Liz don't think I didn't notice you sneaking up on us. Your assassin skills are rudimentary at best," Midnight winked. "I'll give you hot chocolate if you stop trying to sneak up on Ame."

Liz rolled her eyes at Midnight's words. With a sharp tone of voice, she spoke.

"I've been one longer than you, Midnight. And don't give me that when we both know you didn't see me coming."

She took a moment to glance at the two of them. "And my 'rudimentary skills' helped your faction in the war more than you'd like to admit."

The being's wings shifted slightly underneath her cloak. She was already second-guessing her choice to come up and speak with her old teammates.

Ame shifted uncomfortably, glancing between Liz and Midnight. Guess I can’t escape the arguing up here, either. She suppressed another sigh and continued drinking her hot cocoa, wrapping her blanket around herself. One of the more annoying things about being a ghost was that she was always cold, since she didn’t have any body heat to regulate anymore.

Eli was quietly listening to the conversation not far from him. He snickers at everyone’s bickering and rests his head on his hands. They need to chill… he thought to himself. He obviously wouldn’t let them know he was listening yet…but soon.

Liz noticed Ame's mannerisms and sighed. "Right, sorry. I'll catch up later."

Without another word, she descended to the ground and looked around. She didn't bother to hide herself this time as she walked into the surrounding forest.

Eli opened an eye as he heard Liz now walking around. He then calls out to Ame, Midnight and Liz, “You know I really don’t understand you people. And that’s saying a lot cause I don’t even understand myself.” He snickers from under his hideout. “And you’re all way too loud. Just for the record.”

Liz stopped and looked back at Eli. She tilted her head.

"I don't understand myself nor anyone else either. I just pretend I do," she said, a ghost of a smile crossing her features.

She walked over to him, leaning on the tree he was lain under. "And it's quite rude to spy on people's conversations, nephew." Which was ironic for her to say, since she herself had done so countless times. And well, no one up there was making an effort to not be heard.

Eli scoffs. “Says you.” He looks at her. “Anyways.” He sits up and hunches over. “Whatcha doin’ not at that chaos meeting?” He raises an eyebrow in question. “Thought you were gonna help mother out or something.”
