@Fraust

"Okay, which part do you not understand?" Lloyd looked over his notes so he could find an answer if necessary.

@icecubes

Rai sighed as the shop reversed back to its undisturbed nature. A pair chatted over homework in one corner, and others simply sipped their drinks while exploring the internet. She checked her watch, wondering if break time was near.

Veda walked across the street, wheeling her white bike along side of her. She went into the park area and over to a bench. She leaned the bike up against it and sat down, stretching her legs out.

(I'm just coming up with a random historical event XD)
"Um, the question that said 'How was the Gutenberg's printing press influential to society at the time?' I looked everywhere in the text and all I found was how it was made. Do I need to just make inferences there?" Eve asked, genuinely confused about what they were supposed to be reading about right now.

@Fraust

"Well, I think the question was asking how you personally thought it affected the people of that time period. Like, how it would have made life easier for them, since they no longer had to write everything by hand. And the way Gutenberg designed it would have showed other people how to create newer, better versions of it that led to the typewriter, and then to computers today."

@Fraust

"Sorry about what?" Lloyd seemed genuinely confused. If someone else hadn't understood the question, he was always glad to help. On the account that he did understand, otherwise his insight would be useless.

@Fraust

"No, I don't think you're stupid." He smiled softly. "Sometimes, things just have a… deeper meaning." He was silent for a moment, staring off into space before looking embarrassed. "Gah! I'm doing it again! Sorry, sometimes I get kind of weird and… philosophical I suppose. It's just a bad habit I've picked up.."

@Fraust

"Hmm, I've never thought of it like that before…" He glanced at his watch and gasped a bit. "We're late for school!" He quickly put all his textbooks in his backpack and heaved it onto his back, along with another bag filled with books. The bags looked to weigh at least half as much as he did, but he managed it well enough, though if he fell he probably wouldn't be able to get back up. He grabbed Eve's arm and started making his way towards school as quickly as possible. He couldn't drive to school, since he only had his permit, so he walked every day.

(Glad I didn't miss much!)

Kenzie walked into the coffee shop, noticing that she was the only one in line, and sighed in relief. She had a test to study for, and she didn't have time to waste by waiting in line.

"I'll just take a caramel latte, please," she ordered politely. "Oh! And with whip and extra caramel!"

@Fraust

"Oh! Um, s-sure?" He adjusted his bag again, which was digging into his shoulder, before following Eve. "Why do I insist on carrying all my textbooks? I'm going to break my shoulder someday…" He muttered to himself.

Eve walked over to her truck and threw her backpack into the back, shoving the keys into the ignition. The engine roared to life and the radio blasted music from the last time she'd forgotten to turn off the radio before getting out of the Ford truck. "Hop in." she said looking at Lloyd.

@Fraust

Lloyd put his bag in the back seat and got into the passenger side, quickly putting on his seat belt and tapping his foot anxiously. He hated being late, the teachers were very strict.

@icecubes

The two study buddies had left, which made Rai realize she had to get to school too. A customer walked inside and began to order.
"Sure thing! Don't worry, I won't take long. Gotta run to school!" Rai quickly put together a caramel latte, with extra caramel and whipped cream. After she gave the order to the girl, Rai threw off her apron and shoved her homework into her dull green bag. She grabbed her keys and trailed behind the last customer.

"Don't worry, I'm not TOO bad of a driver." Eve laughed, quickly pulling out of the parking space and out of the lot. School was just down the street, four blocks away, but traffic could get bad, especially right before school. Although today, the streets seemed empty as she raced down the road, turning into the school parking lot and driving into the closest space to the doors. "See, that wasn't that bad, now was it?" she asked Lloyd with a chuckle, glad they'd made it with a few minutes to spare.

@Fraust

He nodded and quickly got his bag from the back, stumbling a bit when he picked it up. He threw it onto his back and pulled Eve towards school. "Come on! We'll be late! And you know how strict Mr. Johnson is!" Lloyd seemed anxious and flustered, both by the heavy bag and desire to be on time.

@Fraust

"Fire? There's not a fire, is there?" The other students looked at them strangely as they rushed inside, but Lloyd ignored them. He'd become quite skilled at ignoring other people. He already knew that they thought he was strange, being called a massive nerd most of the time for skipping a grade and reading textbooks for the fun of it. But he didn't let it bother him, it'd ruin his experience at school altogether if he did. Besides, their opinions didn't matter in the long run.

@Fraust

"Yeah, sure, of course." Lloyd always carried all his stuff with him, so he rushed to class and sat down in the back, as he always did. He looked exhausted, and he was, but he managed to take off his bag and set it next to his desk, waiting for the teacher to come to the class.

@Neon_Gravestones_Try_To_Call_For_My_Bones-(It's MK)

Eve walked to her locker, opening it and grabbing her laptop, replacing it with her car keys and hand bag so she wouldn't have to carry them around all day. After closing her locker, she waited there for a few minutes until the bell rang, signalling the start of class before making her way across the school to her class. Finally making it to the doorway, she sauntered in, late as always and sat right in the front where she'd always sat.

@Fraust

Lloyd tapped his fingers anxiously on the desk until the teacher came in, at which point he sat silently and at attention. Mr. Johnson started his lecture, and Lloyd listened to the best of his ability, taking notes whenever he felt necessary.
