After a while, Lloyd set down the textbook, having finished reading it. He pulled out a few worksheets and proceeded to do them easily. The homework for his school was never very challenging, at least not for him. He remained silent as he scratched answers onto the paper, using a separate sheet to work out the math problems.
(Thank you! :D)
Name: Eve Mynt
Gender: Female
Sexuality: heterosexual
Age: 17
Personality: Eve's not afraid to speak her mind and doesn't care what people think of her. She hates rules and can tend to be a trouble maker, but she's a good friend.
Appearance: Long dirty blonde hair normally tied back in a tight ponytail otherwise it lays in soft curls around her face. Bright green eyes, sort of small in size and body composition. She has a broken, stitched together heart tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.
Eve walked into the coffeehouse, determined to actually get some work done today. She had trouble focusing on her homework for long periods of time, and half the time, she didn't even try to finish the homework, but she'd promised herself that she'd actually try today. She walked to the girl at the register, "Could I have just straight black coffee please?"
Lloyd finished his math homework fairly quickly and moved onto History. He had never liked History, not because it was difficult, but because it was incredibly boring. None of the material would ever help him in his adult life. But nonetheless, he started to read the History textbook, answering questions along the way.
(Should Lloyd and Eve be in the same class?)
Veda walked into the coffee shop, her pink hair messy from the wind outside. She stepped behind the other girl in line, a bit of a spring in her step. She dug through her wallet, tapping her foot on the ground as she waited. She found it funny, almost, that the girl in front of her preferred black coffee like she did.
Other teens started coming in, bringing Rai's hopes up. She stashed away her math worksheet and smiled politely at the small girl.
"Could I have just straight black coffee please?" The girl said.
"Sure! What's your name?" Rai nodded, taking out a small cup and pouring in fresh black coffee. She tried to pick up her pace, as another girl stood in line waiting.
(sure, that's a good idea)
Eve received her coffee and looked around for an empty seat away from the window, knowing she'd get distracted quickly. Noticing Lloyd, she walked over there to sit with him and maybe ask for help on the History homework. She hadn't been able to find the answer to the last few problems yet.
Lloyd looked up when someone else walked towards his table. "Oh, hey Eve." He looked back down at the textbook, his eyes quickly scanning over the text.
When the girl was finished, Veda went to the counter. She smiled brightly and ordered her usual, a black coffee. She put the money onto the counter and waited for it to be made. In the mean time, she leaned against the counter and watched other people, not even trying to hide the fact she was doing so.
"Do you need something?" He looked up at Eve again, setting the open book down on the table.
New coffee had to be made, for the last cup had been poured. Rai took her time, since only one person was left in line. As she waited for the coffee, she noticed the girl had pink hair.
"Hey, your hair is super cute!" Rai said, cheerfully, hoping for a response.
Veda looked toward the girl who had just complimented her. “Really? Thanks!” She chirped, just as cheerfully.
Rai desperately attempted to continue the conversation, as the coffee was still brewing. Normally, she didn't approach the customers first, but this girl seemed friendly. "You know, you don't see a lot of people with that color. It's nice to see it once in awhile! Anyways, I'm Rai. You?"
“Yeah, it really helps me to stand out, I love it! And it’s nice to meet you, Rai, I’m Veda,” she said, smiling cheekily. She held her hand out for Rai to shake.
(What’s I miss)
(Idk, I think the person talking to my character left? So I'm not sure what to do now)
(I’m sorry, I meant puts on Hamilton WHAT’D I MISS?)
(wait for them i suppose)
(Casual convo in coffee shop, Lloyd's doing homework like the nerd he is)
(sorry, I didn't mean to leave for so long)
"Um, actually, yeah. Have you gotten to questions seven and eight on the history homework? I couldn't find those earlier." Eve responded to Lloyd, hoping she wasn't interrupting anything.
Rai took Veda's hand. She already ran out of conversation starters, like the introvert she was. Luckily, the coffee pot dinged.
"Enjoy your cup!" Rai grinned.
"Oh, yeah, I finished those a couple minutes ago. I can talk you through the answers if you'd like, I never really like to just give people answers, since then they still don't understand the concept." He smiled and moved his chair over so Eve could join him.
Veda took up her coffee cup and grinned. “Yeah, you too!” She winked jokingly and sipped the hot drink as she made her way out of the shop.
"That'd be great!" Eve smiled back and took the seat next to Lloyd's. "So, I read the chapter but I still don't understand most of it." she laughed.
