(Alright!)
“There are three cots in the upstairs level, I’m sure my acquaintances wouldn’t mind if you used those while they are gone,” Vaughn explained. He crouched down and rummaged through a box that was on the other side of the counter. He took out his gun and tossed it into the box that was full with other weapons and various types of ammunition.
( Yeah thats okay! But Dylan wanted to interrogate the guy. Is that okay @ShadowMisfit ?)
(Fine by me. I keep cutting in and out, which I'm sorry about. At the same time, Reiseil isn't going anywhere, and we haven't even asked Vaughn.)
Dylan noticed the box of weapons and let out a low whistle, "You sure you need all that, killer? You dang near broke my ribcage with that slug from earlier, this seems excessive." Dylan paused, thinking back on his time in Arizona, "Yet… I'm kinda impressed."
Vaughn frowned softly at the nickname ‘killer’, but he decided not to start an argument about it. “If someone has a gun and they are at a farther distance, then I can not just walk up and punch them like I did to you. I would be shot dead by then. Besides, better to have some than to be completely defenseless.” He nodded in a sort of ‘thank you’ like manner and stuffed the box back onto its place on one of the counters inside shelves.
"So, Vaughn, is it okay if we all stay here for a while?" Avery asked. She quickly added, "Just until we get the information we need, of course. I don't want to take over your hideout or anything."
“Yeah, it’s fine,” Vaughn said. He went to a fridge and took out a small bottle of vodka. He poured a bit into a plastic cup and sipped it slowly.
Avery nodded and thanked him. Noticing the bottle he took out, she narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything. They didn't need to be fighting over something so trivial, not when they had more urgent matters to deal with.
Element came back dressed in a sweat-shirt, jeans, and Tennis shoes. Magical changing was extremely helpful. She pushed her glasses higher up onto her nose, and walked in the gas station. She grabbed an apple, and sat down. "Did I miss anything important?" she asked.
"No, I was just about to go talk to buddy boy… Speaking of that, Vaughn, I need a quiet, isolated place to do this. Can you set me up?" Dylan asked, raising the cage from the ground and speaking at a whisper, "Not that I don't trust you guys, but I need this guy to fear me."
“There is a cellar downstairs,” Vaughn said, nodding towards a door. “First door on the right would suit best, and I recommend you don’t touch anything else while you’re down there.”
Dylan shoved the man down the stairs, and he shouted as he fell.
Dylan ignored it, "It'll only be a bit. I'll be sure to keep him healthy, just beat up."
Element shut her eyes and squeezed her apple. More violence. Standing, she got her bag out of Oscar and opened her book.
“Take as much time as you need,” Vaughn responded. He reached over and flicked on an old radio that was sat on the counter. He plucked a dry erase board that said “2 Days alcohol free!” From the wall and erased the writing off of it all together.
Element chewed her thumb-nail, trying to tune out the noises around her.
The Time Stone is dangerous
The Galaxy Stone is pointless
The Sun Stone has lost its power
She grunted and slammed the book shut. She knew none of this was true, and no other books would have the right information. She shoved the book into her bag, and threw the apple-core into the trash. Standing, she pulled out a Powerade and took a swig. Sometime she wished she was underaged.
"Guys, this person Dylan is interrogating isn't gonna tell us everything. We need more information."
Dylan went down the stairs slowly, knowing that he'd be able to handle whatever this guy threw at him. Reiseil did try to ambush him when he came down the stairs, but a quick flash of light which left Dylan surprisingly unhurt put him back in his place. Dylan turned out the lights, knowing his eyes would adjust quickly. He raised a hand and held Reiseil against the wall.
"We can make this easy. You know of Xelnarin, and I suspect you know he has sons. Two of them. One of them is me, the other is a brother who's name I don't know. But I need to. So let's start there…"
“Dylan will get whatever he can from the guy. Once he’s done, we can dispose of him,” Vaughn said calmly as he took a seat in a desk chair.
Avery shot Vaughn a disgusted look. "Not in the way you're implying," she snapped. "We're do not needlessly kill people."
Vaughn scoffed sharply and crossed his arms. He didn’t understand what they were to do then. He obviously didn’t think the same as them. What other way was there? His mind had always gone to killing for the longest time, and he didn’t know what the logical and normal thing to do was.
"I've got tech back at the warehouse that can erase his memory," Avery stated with a sigh as she rolled her eyes.
(She's conveniently got tech for almost every situation… But only in this RP. Otherwise, she has basically no tech.)
“Useful,” Vaughn said, unable to keep the sharpness from his tone. He shut his eyes for a moment, concentrating on the music playing softly from the radio before sitting back up straight.
(What info should Dylan be getting? After his own rather selfish questions plus Xelnarin's location, do we want/need anything else?)
( if they have the time stone. if they have any other stones. )
"Avery, we gotta get Jared's lap top! I totally forgot about that!" Element said hastily.
