“There’s always the gas station,” Vaughn muttered, checking his phone.
“There’s always the gas station,” Vaughn muttered, checking his phone.
Avery snapped her fingers. "That's it! The gas station. Great idea, Vaughn," she exclaimed. After giving Oscar the new location, the car shifted course slightly.
After a few more seconds of awkward silence, they finally arrived. The car landed gently, then opened the doors for its passengers.
Element hopped out and stretched her back. "Give me a little bit and let me scope the area." she said, and then she jumped into the air and disappeared.
"Okay, sure," Avery sarcastically muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes as she stepped out of the car. She didn't expect Element to disappear and was kind of annoyed that she went alone, without anyone to help her if she got into trouble.
Element let out a breath in the air. She felt awful. Her head ached, and she knew she'd have to replace her band-aid soon. But she felt emotionally goopy too. Vaughn was getting on her very last nerve, Avery was making her feel childish, and Dylan was… well Dylan was fine. She looked around, seeing nothing but woods and the abandoned road. She flew back to the gas station, and upon seeing that everyone was inside, she went inside too. "Do you think the food here is to old to eat?" she asked.
( I'm sorry I hope its okay that our characters have conflicts? )

(Yes, it's fine. More realistic that way.)

( okay thank you! You people are wonderful! Even If our characters don't get along… )
Dylan started his explanation, "So the guy who tried to jump me. He was low-ranking, a rent-a-cop. But this guy," he gestured to Reiseil, "is his commander. So I have some questions I want to ask him."
Dylan hoped he made it clear enough that he planned doing the interrogation alone. There were certain questions he couldn't ask in front of the group.

(Lol, thanks! You're pretty cool, too. :P)
Element nodded, and grabbed a bag of chips. The exploration date was a year ago. She put them down, and made a mental note to go shopping later. "So, we're staying here for a while right? I mean we don't have anywhere else to go."
Casting a worried glance back at Vaughn, Avery nodded. "Yeah, that seems like a good idea. If it's okay with Vaughn, of course. I mean, it is his hideout."
Element looked down. Right, of course she had to ask Vaughn. It was his after all.
Seeing Element's look, Avery groaned inwardly. "I mean, that's a great idea. It's just, Vaughn should be the one to say if it's okay," she said quickly, hoping that she hadn't come off as rude.
element looked up, confused. "I know that, I'm just inwardly kicking myself for forgetting." she explained.
She then smiled. "Avery your an angel, you didn't hurt my feelings."
Avery grinned, glad that she hadn't hurt Element's feeling. "Great! I hate it when I say stupid things and it hurts someone…" she trailed off, suddenly thinking of her other friends. She blinked as tears started to form in the corners of her eyes.
Element cleared her throat and headed for the door. "Well no matter how long we stay, we're gonna need food. I'm going to Wendy's if anybody wants to join me." she called over her shoulder.
Quickly blinking her tears away, Avery shook her head. "I- uh- I don't think that's such a great idea," she stuttered. "Those guys might be looking for us now, so it might not be safe to go anywhere public for a while."
"There looking for the hero's, not the civilians." element pointed out. "I know where to change. And Avery, its not like we can't defend ourselves." She stated, stopping at the door. "We can't live in fear. We've gone this long, and so far we're pretty okay."
Avery opened her mouth to respond, then shut it as she realized that she didn't have an argument against that. She turned away, biting the inside of her cheek from nervousness.
Element sighed, and walked out the door. Alone was okay too.
Vaughn was rummaging around in the back room. “Third and fourth isle is where the good food is, all the drinks are perfectly fine,” He called out to them. He grabbed papers that were scatted around the back room, quickly hiding them away in a small box which he then put high up on a shelf. He came out and stood behind the counter, leaning his hands against it. “Most of the stuff here is perfectly fine, I take stock at times and throw away the inedible.”
Element heard Vaughn shout out that some food was okay, but she decided to go out out anyways. She wouldn't go to Wendy's, but she needed new clothes at least.
( This is at least an hour later, so you guys can just pretend that Element is gone, and go on without her. This scene ahead can be later. Acknowledge her when you think its time! )
Element came back dressed in a sweat-shirt, jeans, and Tennis shoes. Magical changing was extremely helpful. She pushed her glasses higher up onto her nose, and walked in the gas station. She grabbed an apple, and sat down.
(How 'about we just say that they talked for the time she was gone? Then we don't have to go into any details…)
