Element looked up. "What do you think?" she whispered.
Element looked up. "What do you think?" she whispered.
“I don’t know, but I keep getting looks. We better hurry this up,” Vaughn said, lowering his head.
Element lowered her head again, walking faster. Her heart started to beet faster, and she could feel the stares burning into her. "Vaughn." she whispered. "Break the cuffs."
“Okay, but we have to make it look like you broke out on your own. Our cover is not completely blown yet. I’ll break them, and I recommend you hit me, hard. Won’t be that hard for you to manage, hm?” Vaughn said, quietly breaking the chain to the cuffs, andthey loosened enough for her to get her wrists loose from.
Element glared at him, and nodded. She felt him loosen the cuffs, so with a deep breath, she snapped them, and broke away from his grip. Just as she felt all heads turn to them, she reared back with all the anger she'd been feeling towards this man and she punched him. Just for flair, she added some small flames to the blow as well.
Vaughn stumbled back and fell from the impact with a sharp grunt. “Bloody hell!” He cursed sharply, feeling his now slightly bruised and burnt jaw. A few other people who were nearby gave a few shouts of alarm.
Element saw other people rush to them, and stared at Vaughn. WHAT DO I DO NOW?! she thought frantically. Suddenly she came up with a terrible plan, but it was all she had. So with quick movements, she lit the space in front of her on fire, and pulled Vaughn to his feet. She then bolted, running down the hall, creating a fire wall. But she knew it wouldn't last long.
Vaughn stumbled for a moment before running alongside Element. “We have to try and find Avery and Dylan!” He said sharply, hearing people shouting for them to stop behind the wall of fire.
"I know!" she yelled.
As they ran, Vaughn flinched whena bullet skimmed past his head. “Screw this no killing rule, it’s us or them,” he said, more to himself than anything. He yanked the pistol from his waistband and fired a few blind shots behind them, the only reason that he knew he hit someone was the sound of a man crying out in pain.
Dylan's head spun at the sound of commotion, and he turned to Avery, "See? Just when we do good, things go to hell. Call Oscar, I'll keep our guy in check. Don't look in this direction."
Confident that Avery would catch his plans, Dylan brought down the cage and raised his right hand Reiseil's face. Light exploded from his hand, and the hot poker from before went into his wrist, down his arm. It wasn't nearly as sharp a pain as before, though. Perhaps it was just a muscle he needed to stretch some more. With the man subdued, Dylan brought his daggers back again and held them at the ready.
Avery nodded at Dylan, then looked the other way. She whispered into her hidden mic on her shoulder, "Oscar, I need you to come to our location. We've got a problem."
"Of course, Aspect," Oscar replied, using her other name.
Element heard the gun-shot, and her heart stopped. She swore she'd never kill anyone until totally necessary, and Vaughn just fired without hesitation. She sprinted full force, a few feet ahead of him, and came face to face with Avery. "Aspect!" she yelled.
"Element! How did you find me?" Avery exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock.
"And where's Vaughn?" she questioned.
"Happy accident." she said. ( your still a mouse right? Or did you change and I missed it? )
(She changed. It was right before she fainted.)
( okay )
"Vaughn is behind me. We got spotted. We gotta get out of here!" she said frantically.
Vaughn jogged over a few moments later. He breathed heavily, a bruise now beginning to form more on his jaw, and the slight burn stung. He held the gun loosely, holding up his hand. “Here,” He said slowly, throwing anxious glances over his shoulder.
"Oh Vaughn your here. Your face looks bad, I should heal that later." Element rambled. "Okay what do we do now?" she asked.
Vaughn scoffed at the comment about his face, then took a deep breath, composing himself. “We have to find a way out of here. Did you find the man we were looking for?”
"What happened?" Avery questioned them fiercely. Holding up a hand, she said, "You know what? Tell me later. Right now, we've got to get outside to Oscar." Reaching out her hand to Vaughn, she said, "I'll take that, thanks. Dylan, are you here?"
(Wait is she asking for the gun or what?)
Suddenly alarms started blaring. "Shoot a monkey…" she murmured. "I can can us out. But you might not like how." she said sheepishly.
“What are you implying?” Vaughn questions, arching a dark brow.
