"They'd lock us in a mental hospital if we told them we had powers and woke up without memories." She sighed, giving Lucille a sad smile. "At least we aren't alone though. . ."
(( I'm just gonna use { } for when Riann is thinking
"True, very true." Katie whispered. "And, I mean, the kidnappers didn't leave us too badly off."
“You guys have a point…” Lucille sighed, she laid face first into her bed.
"Yeah." Riann replied as she let out a frustrated sigh. She furrowed her brow as she thought. "Uh, it's getting pretty late. We probably want to sleep."
Katie sat on her bed. "Anyone want a book?" she offered tiredly.
“Who wants to shower first?” Lucille asked, sitting up.
"I don't mind. You guys can go ahead."
Spyke came out of the bathroom, drying his hair off, he dropped to the floor in a plume of clothes, and a little black cat walked out of the mess, and hopped onto his bed, purring.
She looked over at the cat and laughed. "I feel like it would be weird if I pet that cat."
(Spyke already took a short one.)
He nudged the covers open, slipping under them, and curled up into them.
“Ok.” Lucille said as she picked up her pajamas and slowly walked to the bathroom.
She pushed herself up and walked towards the window. The cold night wind blew her brown hair everywhere as she leaned forward. Lights from billboards and casino's flashed throughout the city. Riann felt a cold tingle in her back and an illusion of a bird flew through the air.
"Want a book, Riann?" Katie offered tiredly.
"Sure." She walked over towards Katie and sat down next to her.
"I'm keeping A Tale of Two Cities, but take your pick out of the other two." she continued. For Will and Tessa, she fangirled in her head with a fond smile.
After almost 40 minutes, Lucille exited the bathroom. She went to her bed and landed in it face first.
"The Great Gatsby sounds good." She smiled, taking the copy. "What would we do without your books."
“When are you two going to sleep?” Lucille asked.
"What can I say, these kidnappers have pretty good taste. They gave me a stunning dress, too. At this point, I couldn't even guess at their game." she sighed.
She got up and walked towards her bed, slipping under the covers.
"See you guys tomorrow. . ." She yawned as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
“When are you two going to sleep?” Lucille asked.
"As soon as I finish this book," she joked, addressing herself this time to Lucille.
Lucille tucked herself in, “Night night.”
