"Yeah, I knew it." Spyke confirmed. "Let's go."
"Yeah, I knew it." Spyke confirmed. "Let's go."
"Yeah." Riann replied, adjusting her backpack. She began to walk towards the streets, the gravel around the warehouse crunching under her shoes.
-They Entered the Hotel-
Katie nodded. "Hotel it is." She felt a bit powerless in this group, but pushed the feeling away. Instead she pulled out her own wad of bills, ruffling through it. She whistled through her teeth. "Generous kidnappers."
Spyke pulled a wad of cash from his own pockets. And they walked in. He slapped it on the table. "How many rooms, guys?" He said, looking back at them.
Lucille laughed. “Well how many rooms can we afford?” Lucille asked.
Katie scanned the group. "Two sounds ok for me."
"Hm. . . should we all stay together? Or seperate rooms?"
Lucille shrugged. “Either is fine.”
He shrugged. "I dunno, looks like more than we need though."
"I can go with anyone. I don't really mind." She replied, tucking her hair into a messy tail.
"We should get two rooms, keep some money for other things." Katie suggested.
"Alright. One room, make it a suite if you can?" He said, slapping bills down.
Once they made it to the suite, Riann slipped her backpack off and sorted everything in it. There were extra shirts and pants, four throwing knives, a first aid kit, and money.
“I just realized I never looked through my bag.” Lucille sighed, then she muttered, “I’m a moron.” She put her backpack on a bed and opened it.
"You look pretty smart to me." Riann grinned as she nudged Lucille playfully. "All we need to know now is what we're doing here."
Lucille grinned, “Well I don’t think the kidnapper… kidnappers…left us instructions for that.”
Katie looked through her own duffel and laid everything out on her bed. "Are there any hints as to who's behind this?"
She checked for lining, tags, embroideries… there was nothing.
Spyke looked in his. A variety of art and music supplies, a medkit, some interrogation tools, and a wallet, with his ID in it and lots of money, aside from that, he had two butterfly knives, and two changes of clothes, not to mention an Mp3.
"Nice." He said.
"Probably not. . ." She laughed as she looked towards the window. Flashing lights from casino's, buildings and commercials drowned out the setting sun. Riann looked down at her watch and read the time; 10:37.
"We can figure that out tomorrow." She yawned.
"Alright." Spyke said, heading for the bathroom. "I'll be back."
“Why would they kidnap us? Wait shouldn’t we bring this to the police or something.” Lucille asked.
She nodded and sat down on the edge of one of the four beds. She tried to conjure up an illusion, but she was exhausted from making the wolves in the warehouse. {I wonder if Spyke's this tired from shape shifting. . .}
"I don't think they'd believe us!" Spyke said from the bathroom.
Katie flipped through the three books she had found in her duffel: The Great Gatsby, Little Women, and a beautiful gold-stamped edition of A Tale of Two Cities. "I'm sure they get all sorts of weird reports around here."
