Ro narrowed her eyes. "Good luck with that in this middle of this shithole."

“I feel like we can rule out normal at this point. There was a polar bear in a bloody forest. That is not a natural habitat for a polar bear,” Floyd pointed out, folding his arms across his chest.
"That's fair." Matt replied, lookin over at the polar bear's corpse.
"So, shall we head towards…wherever we're heading?" Daso swallowed hard, trying to smirk with confidence even though the terror was starting to set in.
“Let’s go on ahead,” Floyd said, beginning to walk in the direction of the clearing.
"Off we go," Matt said, smiling and following the others.
“So,” Floyd said, not to anyone in particular, “how far do you think this area we are going to is?”
(Wow… I missed a lot in a couple of hours.)
Arabelle mentally kicked herself at showing off too much. The bear had been a shock, and the others weren't supposed to know that she'd had the skills to throw the knife that well, but it had surprised her. Since no one else had a weapon on them, she had felt that she'd needed to do something.
Shaking her head clear of her thoughts, she followed the others.
(O same)
Lyssie stepped after them silently, avoiding the branches and twig son the ground.
"It looked to be about 5o metres from the tree, but I'm betting it's more."
Floyd huffed and walked with the group, maintaining a decent pace.
Daso walked behind the group, his strides long but slow. He was getting hungry. And thirsty. He yawned, "how much further?"
“Not really sure, it’s hard to tell,” Floyd responded. From what he could see, there were still simply many trees in the distance.
“Where are we going again?”
"It's some clearing, I guess," Arabelle stated. "But nobody really seems to be sure."
“Wow, great decisions. Anyone know why we’re going there?”
Ro shrugged. "We're looking for a water source?"
“We should also findfood materials, and if not that, then materials to make hunting tools,” Floyd piped up.
“Materials are all around us,” Lyssie gestured.
"Wait hold up a minute guys," Daso interjected, a note of panic in his voice, "we're not staying for any amount of time. We've gotta be close to civilization or something. No need for hunting tools or food or any of that."
“There are different typed of branches, they all can’t be used for certain things like spears or bows,” Floyd explained.
Arabelle turned to face Daso, her face a mask so as not to show off her emotions. "We could be hundreds of miles from the nearest town. I think we should be prepared to handle the worst that these woods could throw at us, don't you?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow.
Daso stammered, "Hundreds of miles? How? No, we can't be. There's no way all of us stumbled hundreds of miles then forgot how we got here. That's impossible, isn't it?"
“Well yeah, but there’s plenty of stuff here.”
“With the drugs these days? Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised,” Floyd said, shrugging his shoulders loosely.
