"I'd kill for that right now," Daso agreed. He held up his empty hands. "As you can see, I don't have anything."
"I'd kill for that right now," Daso agreed. He held up his empty hands. "As you can see, I don't have anything."
"Uughh," Matt leaned his head back to really look around at their surroundings for the first time. "Why are we all in this forest anyways?"
"We don't know," Daso replied with a heavy sigh. "But there's gotta be a road or something nearby, right?"
“No one seems to know,” Floyd commented, looking up at the time, then down at his watch, which seemed to be broken.
"There'd better be a road or I'm gonna scale every tall thing until I find one" Matt grumbled, running his hand through his tangled hair.
Daso squinted at the sky. The sun was setting. "Should we go west? I mean, that way if we get lost at least we know which direction we're going."
“You could climb one of those trees and see?” Floyd said, but he meant it mainly as a joke, as he thought it would be ridiculous.
Ro shrugged. "I guess it's the best we can do." In a handful of seconds, she had scaled it. She scanned the horizon. There were no buildings, but about 50 metres there was a break in the forest.
(lol. is it bad that I wrote this when For Forever from DEH was playing in the background?)
Floyd laughed, giving him a thumbs up. “Yeah, nice one, shortie!” He called up to him.
(Pffft hahah don't break ur arm)
"Nice climbing," Daso laughed. "See anything?"
"They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!" Matt whispered and shook his head. "Are those fightin' words son?!" Matt chuckled and gave a thumbs-up back. "Enjoy your time without injury. I'll make sure it ends when I hit the ground" Matt struggled to get back down and slipped several times before giving up and sitting on one of the lower branches, wondering if he could land the fall without breaking a limb.
(ugh. notebook is acting up for me. sorry my dudes. i'll still try to be active)
(It’s all good, this site does get messed up often.)
“Yeah, you want to bet?” Floyd shouted in between laughter. He watched Matt and shook his head, grinning.
(m'kay. thank you)
"FIGHT ME FLOYD" Matt shouted, edged with laughter as he jumped out of the tree and rolled into a summersault along the ground until his momentum stopped him and he rolled out onto his back, limbs spread like a starfish. Matt groaned, regretting his decision but trying not to let it on. "Fight me" Matt grumbled and flailed his limbs around.
(Np.)
Floyd laughed sharply and nudged Matt’s ribs with his boot. “Damn, you’re easy.” Out Of habit, he looked down at his watch, but then remembered that the hands were seemingly off and he took it off his wrist, stuffing it in his coat pocket.
Matt chuckled again and rolled onto his side and managed his way to stand up. "I may be a bum, but I'm not gonna steal your fancy time-teller." Matt noticed Floyd put away his watch.
“I never said that you were going to steal my watch, but thanks for pouting that thought in my head. The clock hands are all messed up, they don’t match up with how the sun is positioned,” Floyd explained, taking out the watch and showing him.
"Ah…" Matt said, inspecting the watch, which was indeed broken. He felt a twinge of guilt at teasing him.
Ro climbed down from her perch. "There's a break in the forest heading South-East."
Floyd stuffed the watch away once again and turned toward Ro. “Really? Let’s go check it out then.”
"Ah sweet. Are we off to see more killer bears I suppose?" Matt asked, half-joking and half-not joking.
Daso grimaced, fiddling with the frayed wristband hanging around his arm. "Hope we can just go home. No more bears, no more notes, no more weirdness."
Ro shrugged. "Depends on what type area we're trapped in here."
"Heh. No liquor, no home, and no safety. What next, no life?" Matt wondered sarcastically.
