(Yes dad.)
(Yes dad.)
Darren squinted at her still unsure, but what choice did he have but to trust her for now.
(When you're attached to your character and you feel guilty for betraying someone that doesn't exist… the RP life)
Lillian's mother smirked triumphantly, she had fooled him.
(Yep.)
(It's not hard to fool Darren. He's not that bright…)
Darren finished his food and glanced at Lillian's mother with a look of pure guilt.
(He rolled a 1, he was completely convinced.)
(FRICK HE HAS A LOW WISDOM SCORE ABORT ABORT)
(CRITICAL 1 OOF)
Lillian's mother noticed his guilty look. She was elated, he didn't tell the slut. This made everything even better.
Darren checked his watch and stood up, "I have to go now, ma'am. Have a good day." He walked away before she could say anything and pretended to pay the bill on the way out.
Lillian's mother finished her meal and walked out of the restaurant a few minutes after Darren. She couldn't keep the skip out of her step as she walked home.
Darren arrived back home. He dropped his keys in the bowl by the door before yelling through the house, "Lil? Lloyd? You guys here?"
(Are we there?)
Lloyd and Lillian came trotting up to the house on Phos. "We're out here!" Lloyd slid off the unicorn, patting its shoulder.
Darren stepped back outside, he then looked up from his feet, "What the hell?"
Lillian was beaming and waved at Darren. She was happy that he was okay, "Isn't this cool?!"
"I found a unicorn! See? I told you they were real!" Phos whinnied softly, swishing his tail.
"Yeah" Darren evaded eye contact and spoke with a dull tone, "Super cool."
"You okay?" Lloyd asked, stroking Phos's neck absently.
Lillian noticed how he avoided eye contact. He seemed to do that often, maybe it was a tick for something, "How'd it go?"
"Fine." Darren changed the subject and stared at his feet, "Does your unicorn have a name?"
Darren didn't know what he was going to tell Lillian yet. He'd figure it out.
Lloyd could tell that Darren wasn't telling them everything, but also that he didn't desire to. "Phos, as in light particles."
