Beatrice looked at him and smiled.
"Most embarrassing childhood memory?" She asked curiously.
Beatrice looked at him and smiled.
"Most embarrassing childhood memory?" She asked curiously.
"Hm…" Finn considered for a few seconds, trying to remember a good story. "I was a pretty stupid kid, to be honest, but one that comes to mind is when we used to have dinner together. I started to get up from the table, but then I needed to sneeze, and I sneezed so hard I slammed my head full force into the table and knocked myself out." He laughed softly, his face lightly flushed. "I was like six or seven, and Teagan still brings it up sometimes to make fun of me even though he freaked out at the time."
Beatrice smiled softly and covered a hand with her mouth.
"Poor you," she said "you must've woken up and been like 'what the fuck man.'"
She paused and then giggled suddenly.
"Do you want to know mine, even though it wasn't my truth?"
(POOR YOUNG FINN)
(He was so stupid lol 😭 he also bit a chunk out of a door once)
"Oh yeah, I had no clue what happened. I'm lucky o didn't concuss myself, honestly." Finn chuckled and then looked over at Beatrice. "Mm? Sure, if you want to."
(oml, he's adorable—)
Beatrice let her fit of giggles out and once she was done, she began.
"So one time, I was about six, and my family was at the Aquarium." She told him "we were seeing the seahorses and one of the males started giving birth. And the guy standing next to us was a bit overweight, so I thought he was pregnant and I asked him if he was going to give birth soon."
"Pfft—" Finn snickered and then started to laugh, holding one hand up to his mouth. "Hopefully he wasn't too mad at you. My parents would smack me upside the head. I mean, I've done a lot of stupid things, but more destructive to property and myself. Especially after I got bit, I sorta went through a… teething phase."
"No, he was pissed." She said, beginning to laugh. "He went off on my parents and started lecturing my parents on teaching their kids manners and respect."
"It's your turn again," she pointed out through laughs.
"Hmm… Truth or Dare? I mean, there's not a whole lot of dares we could do in this room anyway…" Finn looked around at the nearly empty bedroom. "We're basically just asking each other questions. Truth or Truth."
Beatrice smiled brightly.
"Hmm," she remarked "that's a hard one…I'll have to say…truth."
"Hmm… let's see…" Finn considered for a few seconds. "What's a deal breaker in a relationship for you?" He asked. "Dating or friendship, whichever. Aside from the obvious stuff like cheating and murder."
"I think for me it's the personality, so if they have an intolerable personality, they'll probably not be my cup of tea." She told him, smiling. "And an outrageous ego."
Finn nodded a bit, humming to himself. "Yeah, that makes sense. Uhm… alright, it's your turn to ask something now."
"What's your worst irrational fear?" Beatrice asked curiously "I mean like not just a fear a like really weird one."
"Hm… well, I don't really like heights and I hate storms, but nothing too strange that I can think of." Finn shrugged. "The storm thing was way worse when I was a kid, but they still kinda freak me out, to be honest."
Beatrice smiled and nodded her head in his direction.
"It's your turn." She told him softly.
"Alright… have you ever had an imaginary friend?" Finn asked, leaning back against the wall again.
Beatrice nodded.
"His name was Thomathy and he was the same age as me but from a different plant, but he looked like a human except for his unnatural purple eyes." She told him. "What about you?"
"Fun. Ah… trying to remember. Not really, since Teagan and I played together most of the time, but when Teagan was being mean I had 'nice Teagan" that I would talk to." He flushed lightly in embarrassment and smiled sheepishly. "Pretty much just pretended that I was talking to Teagan by myself and he was nicer than actual Teagan."
Beatrice laughed lightly and smiled at him.
"Wow," She said "that's kind of adorable."
Finn laughed softly as well and shrugged. "Yeah, I guess so… Teagan picked on me a lot so I liked to pretend I was talking to a Teagan who thought I was cool. Your turn."
"What's one weird thing others don't do, that you do on a daily basis?" Beatrice asked. "You can just say pass if you don't want to answer, and you can't say the werewolf thing either."
"Hm… that's a hard one. I don't think I do anything super weird…" Finn hummed thoughtfully, trying to come up with something. "I mean, I have the panic attacks. I guess that's kinda weird right?"
Beatrice shook her head, a small smile grazing her lips.
"No, lots of people with anxiety have them." She reassured him.
"Oh… I dunno, then. Have you noticed anything weird I do?" Finn asked curiously, looking over at Beatrice.
