"Well, things may not be like they used to be, but I'm thankful for what once was, and I'm glad that going forwards, although it's been tough, I've met plenty of amazing people," Aurelius replied.
"Well, things may not be like they used to be, but I'm thankful for what once was, and I'm glad that going forwards, although it's been tough, I've met plenty of amazing people," Aurelius replied.
"Same here." said Silver, "But I can't help but wish to go back sometimes.."
"Yeah," Aurelius sighed, "I completely agree. There are some things and people that I really miss."
Silver nodded, "But lets not reminince too much…"
"There's a time for that," Aurelius countered, "But yeah, we should really focus on what's in front of us."
Silver nodded, "Let's head back to the other's before they worry.
"Yeah, it appears to be getting late, too," Aurelius said, "It'll be night soon."
Silver nodded, "Exactly why we should get back."
"That, and if you still wanted to try the whole dream walking thing…" Aurelius suggested, "The time to do it would be soon."
"I know." said Silver, "But not out here. If we get attacked during that process, neither of us will be able to defend."
"Yeah, I wasn't suggesting we do it out here," Aurelius replied, "Just when we get back."
Silver nodded, "Come on, we need to get going." he said, turning to head back to camp.
"Okay," Aurelius said.
He started to follow Silver, occasionally looking behind him to make sure they weren't being followed or anything.
Silver led them directly back to camp, the moon starting to come high. "Now or never Aurelius.." he said quietly.
"Let's do it," he agreed, "How do we start?"
"First step is you taking a nap." said Silver wryly.
"A nap this late is just bedtime, but okay," Aurelius said.
He found one of the tents that were empty, placed his things on the ground and laid down on the bedroll inside.
Silver watched him go, following after he had told Glaciero what was going on. Entering the small tent, he set down his healer's bag.
Aurelius, not asleep or even close to being asleep, looked up at Silver.
"What will you have to do exactly?" he asked.
"It's a simple, but exhausting spell that allows me to enter your dreams…" said Silver quietly. "Only thing is is you have to be asleep for it to work.."
"Yeah, I'll try," Aurelius stated.
He laid on his side, turned away from Silver as he tried to sleep, but it was difficult. He was wide awake for now.
Silver heaved a sigh. "Never fails. Not once." He said.
Aurelius tried to focus on his breathing, on relaxing his muscles, on the sound of Silver's voice, and eventually, he gave in to waves of sleepiness.
Silver waited about ten minutes to be sure he was asleep. Then he summoned his auras, a chilly, silver blue light surrounding them. Silver placed his hands on the other's temples, and concentrated on the spell.
Aurelius stirred a little at first, but he was deep in sleep. A few images and sounds started to form in his mind, although he could not quite make them out.
