(Hi!)
Aurelius kept stride next to Silver, still filled with curiosity about where he was from, and what kind of magic he had, but he chose to keep quiet and conserve his energy.
Silver sighed as Skye came loping back in. He shifted and yawned, "So where exactly are we going anyway Skye?" he asked.
"That's a good question, actually," Septima said, "I don't know much about this place other than what their cause is."
"In the northern mountains" said Skye, "They've got a network of camps, we'll probably run into their guards and go from there"
"Okay, sounds good," Septima replied, "That shouldn't be too far. It's what… a day's travel, maybe?"
"Two at most" said Skye, "Easy trip"
"For most of us," Aurelius murmured, quiet enough to where none of his friends could actually hear what he said.
Septima kept walking after where Skye was headed.
Silver heard what Aurelius said, and noted it for later.
(Is it probably best to skip ahead some? It'll be hard to write the whole trip.)
(Yeah.. probably best)
(Bump!)
(Oof, I found it finally!)
(YAY!!)
(Also it's your turn to reply!)
(Yes, and we're skipping to where they get to the town where the rebellion is centered?)
(I was thinking to the edge of the region, have them be attacked, and go from there…
Everything came back after rereading the page…)
(Okay, yeah, that works I guess. Could you initiate that, since you seem to have a better idea of what you want to do?)
sure!))
Silver led the way down into the next valley, he had taken wolf form ever since the mountain pass, and hadn't shifted back. "How much further is it gonna be Skye?" he asked,
"It should be in this valley!" he called, "Though we'll have to be prepped for border guards!"
"Oh, fun… more guards," Septima muttered, "So if we see them, what do we do? Try to sneak, fight, or negotiate?"
She looked back to Aurelius. He wasn't holding up nearly as well as the others, but he dared not complain.
"negotiate" said Skye, "These will be resistance lookouts,"
Silver listened in carefully, keeping a close eye on his surroundings.
"That seems ideal," Aurelius replied, "Hopefully things don't escalate."
Septima nodded. "Right. Got it. I'll save the violence for another day…"
Silver suddenly paused in his tracks, "There's someone nearby…"
Aurelius' posture stiffened, and he was dead silent. Septima shut up as well, watching and listening for further instruction from either Silver or Skye. They could definitely hear what was going on better than she could.
Skye was instantly alert, suddenly catching an arrow that went for his face.
Silver shifted, knocking away a second with an aura shield. "We know you're out there!"
(Feel free to control the rebels too!)
(Okay! Also for the other 2 characters I had here, I'm going to treat them kind of like npcs and say they went to join the rebellion.)
Aurelius cowered down a bit. He wasn't going to be able to defend himself at the moment, and he hoped that Septima, Skye, and Silver had everything covered.
Septima took out her crossbow and loaded a bolt. It didn't look like they wanted to negotiate.
