(ok!)
Skye shook his head, putting a hand on her crossbow, lowering it. Stepping forward he watched as two men dropped from the trees.
"Who are you and what do you want!" the first demanded.
"We're magic users like you, we came to join the rebellion." said Silver, shifting calmly.
"Oh…" Septima said, "So they're… they're like us."
Aurelius crept forwards so he stood just behind Silver. This way, he could better hear and see what was going on, all while using Silver as a shield from any danger.
The guards whispered to each other, but turned when a bark was heard through the trees, a gold furred wolf came bounding through, suddenly shifting to tackle Silver, "You idiot! Why the heck did you take them on!" he yelled, Silver hugged him back, "I see you've recovered?"
A dark redfurred wolf came by, shifting to become a guy very similar to the first, "Good to see you made it back Skye!"
Aurelius moved out of the way when Silver was tackled. He was surprised, but also so relieved that all of these guys were allies and not enemies. Septima held Aurelius' arm. He didn't realize it, but he was starting to have trouble supporting himself. Taurin had taken him from the other side, and Rosalie stood, still slightly frozen with fear at the idea of being shot at.
Skye noted the others nervousness as a fire furred she- wolf came through, stopping near the second that had come through. "Don't worry, these are my younger siblings." said Skye, "Meet Alex, Arthur, and Blaze." he gestured to each in the order they'd appeared.
Aurelius introduced himself. His voice had gone hoarse.
Septima's siblings introduced themselves quickly and with smiles on their faces. Then Septima nodded and looked from Aurelius to the other half-wolves.
"I'm Septima. Good to meet you."
"A pleasure m'lady," said Arthur politely, "Please excuse my twin."
Alex huffed, "Shut it"
Blaze whacked him on the head, having shifted to the form of a darker skinned woman, with firey red hair, all three had green eyes, and Arthur had pale skin.
Septima smiled. She was just so relieved and happy to be somewhere safe. The past few days, she had just been on the go, worried about her friend constantly, and worried about getting to where the rebels were. Everything was looking a bit better now.
"I guess we should get you lot back to camp?" asked Blaze, ignoring the hasty conversation between Silver and Alex..
"Probably a good idea" said Skye.
"Yes, let's do that," Septima agreed, trying to hide the fact that she was supporting at least half of Aurelius' weight.
Skye turned, spotting the fact that Aurelius wasn't looking too good. "Silver"
Silver turned pulling away. Shifting he padded up to Aurelius, "You're riding, and I'm not taking no for an answer."
"Please…" Aurelius said softly. He wasn't going to argue on this one.
As Septima helped him onto Silver's back, he tightened his grip, just a little, on Silver's fur.
She kept pace next to them once they started walking to make sure they were both alright.
Silver rolled his eyes, "Relax. I won't let you fall"
"I know… I'm just…" Aurelius couldn't form coherent enough thoughts to finish the sentence.
Septima tried to look away for a moment to clear her thoughts, but she was still very worried about her friend.
"What happened to him?" Asked Blaze.
"He was in the same prison I was, but for longer." Said Silver, "he'll be fine."
“Yeah, we’ve just been on the move and he hasn’t been able to rest,” Septima explained, “He was already doing pretty bad.”
"Ouch" said Alex, "Silver will have him fixed up eventually if you leave him to it" he added,
“Yeah… thank you, Silver,” Septima said softly.
Aurelius muttered a nearly silent apology to the half-wolf.
"He's got a legitimate reason." said Silver, "most of my other patients" he looked pointedly at Alex, "Are idiots."
Septima smirked. “Younger siblings, huh?” she murmured. She laughed to herself, still trying to shake the worry. He was going to be okay… he was fine, he was fine…
"Actually I'm not related to the lot of them" said Silver
“Oh, my bad,” Septima said, “Kids, then… kids, huh?”
She was still so preoccupied by Aurelius that she wasn’t focusing on the conversation very well.
Silver gave her a weird look, "not sure what you mean right now…:
"Never mind…" Septima muttered, running a hand through her hair.
She looked at Aurelius a little bit longer, but ended up having to look away again because now she was more than worried. She was furious. Septima wanted to kill whoever did this to him.
Alex soon shifted and went ahead with Arthur, the two rebel guards having stayed behind at their post. They that the small group into a larger clearing filled with tents, and people.
