Oh, she hadn't even realized she injured her hand. Most injuries stopped hurting years ago. She remembered wandering around on a twisted ankle for about three weeks until suddenly she couldn't walk anymore. Most things lose their pain once you've been exposed to a lot of it for a long time. "Oh…sorry….I didn't even…" her face began to turn red from embarrassment. Was she really that oblivious? Now she must look like a fool to everyone else…
Dani looked at her softly. "Hey." She put her hand comfortingly on Ana's shoulder. "Don't apologize. It's my fault. I should have put you down more gently"
To his surprise, Ace laughed too. "I don't think I should take my shirt off. Again." he grinned at Ana, giving her a small wink. Ace didn't know what was going on with him. Perhaps he felt, for the first time in his life, safe.
Gahh, I'm late.
"And besides. I only noticed it a second ago."
Ana visibly flinched and nearly drew away from Dani's touch. It's not that…god she was being rude wasn't she. Guilt and shame flooded her once more, though she still was stiff under anyone's touch. Ana's face darkened a shade of red with the wink. "Um…I…uh…" she clearly had no idea what to do. Seeing someone indecent was only reserved for married couples. At least, that's what her parents said. Ana just looked down at the ground not trusting herself to speak.
"If you would rather," Dani told Ace, "There is a bathroom right there." She pointed behind Mia. She walked to a closet and pulled out a few bottles and a bandage, then an outfit similar to the ones the other agents wore. She threw them at him.
"I'm guessing that you do know how to patch yourself up, seeing as you have been wandering around for a while" She gave him a playful smile.
Macha was suddenly glad for her stone skin, as it made her incapable of blushing. She ignored Ace and took in her surroundings, murmuring softly to Rhea. "You'll be human soon, don't worry." Rhea nickered back, and Macha touched on the bracelet that Rhea had given her, third-closest to her elbow and in a traditional African design. "What next?", she asked Dani, feeling a rush of concern for Ace.

Dani noticed that Ana looked a little uncomfortable. "Umm…. Ana? Have you ever had a friend before?" She was only asking this because the only people she had ever met that were this, well, uncomfortable, where people who never had the privaledge of friendship.
Great. Why that question out of all the questions. Her face was now a bright scarlet as she still looked at the floor, fiddling with her hands. Trying to do something to distract herself. "N…No…" she admitted softly. God she was such a loser. She couldn't even make friends if she's tried, and she has tried trust her. Though the impression she gave her freshman year of high school, she didn't exactly blame anyone for not wanting to be her friend.
"You bet." Ace walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He pulled of his shirt and started on his wound. He recognized some of the bottles and started applying them onto the hole, wincing every time the salves stung him. Ace pulled the bandages around his stomach and breathed a sigh of relief. Until he realized the space above his wound wasn't empty anymore. It had words covering the space: There are corpses, feet made of cold and sticky clay, death is inside the bones of a corpse and death is inside of you.
Gahh, I'm late again.
Peter had stayed behind, unable to keep up as his pain caught up with him. He descended to sit on the floor to aleve excruciating dizziness and a hotfoash.
Dani put her hand on Ana's shoulder. "Than consider me your first."
Dani then noticed that Peter was on the floor. She Walked over to him and sat down infront of him. "Where does it hurt the most?"
She still flinched on the contact. It was clear Ana wasn't quite comfortable with any physical touching. The reasons why, would remain hidden for the time being. But her gaze shot up to meet Dani's, shock filling her eyes. "W-What…?" she whispered, her voice small. Please don't let this be a dream. That would be so cruel…
Dani was already regretting this, but she wasn't going to loose someone else. And she definetley wasn't going to let Skylar loose someone else.
Ace's face was pale. He walked out of the bathroom and ran a hand through his hair. He walked up to Ana and Dani and realized he'd caught them at a bad time. Nevertheless, he asked anyway, "I'm hungry. Do you have any cheeseburgers?"
Peter exhaled an exasperated breath, answering her weakly, and gesturing with a little bit of a tremble in his fingers. "My, ah-" he stammered, clearing his throat, "My back, ma'am," he shuddered, and apologized, unsure why exactly. But it seemed to fit the situation, in his muddled, subdued train of thoughts.
Oh dear. This really wasn't good. Though Ana wasn't sure what to do. Let the others take care of it. She'd only get in the way.
Dani smiled. "Just call me Dani." She held up her hand, slowly watching as it started to glow. She gently placed it right between his wings. Mia pulled the others back. "Relax Mia." She said as Peter started to heal. "I'm getting better at this." Then she stopped. She took in a shaky breath and stood up. "I couldn't heal you completely, but this will do for now." She handed him a bottle of water. Then she pulled him up.
"I mean seriously. Just call me Dani. I'm only sixteen." She turned to Mia. "I told you I'd get the hang of it."
He accepted her help, exhaustion still potent in his demeanor. He was hungry, too. Ace's request for a hamburger seemed more tantalizing by the second. "Thank you.." he spoke again, in a quiet voice, and took a healthy gulp of water. His large wings remained at a droop, primaries folded against the ground.
