If you've never done a roleplay before, that's ok! Basically, you make up an OC/chose from your previous characters and use them to interact with other people's characters, creating an epic, collaborative story line * yay! *.

Here are the rules:

-Your character must be YOURS, not someone else's or from a book/movie/show etc.
-One character per person (you can make up little background characters only there to move the story along, as long as you have ONE main character who's POV you're writing from)
-No hate/racist, sexist, homophobic/transphobic, or generally rude comments (unless coming from a bully/"bad" person)
-If someone makes a mistake, move past it
-Absolutely NO LIMIT on what you do to or with your character, as long as you keep it appropriate (and please try not to swear), and no deciding what happens to other people's characters without their consent

(By the way, I have another roleplay going on if anyone wants to join, titled "Roleplay :)")
Alright, I'll start with my character (who you may recognize from my other roleplay): Macha is a winged 17 y/o girl with very pale grey skin made out of smooth, marble-like stone. She has white hair streaked with grey, and has big tawny gold eyes. The skin near her eyes and part of her cheeks is cracked, and she has huge, strong silvery-gray wings speckled with white resembling a Sooty Owl's.
Macha is wearing a loose white semi-shoulder less t-shirt on top of elegant sandals and gray jean-shorts. On her right arm are five braided bracelets, one from each friend she's ever had, and one bracelet made of three gold beads on a white string, hanging off her slim wrist (this object's magical value will be revealed later). She is also wearing a simple white and gold choker.
(Now you guys can come in with your characters. The first person to join can describe the location where this takes place)

@Mish

(Question about the roleplay: Is this going to be Genre specific–as in, all characters, only magical characters, only "normal" [or as close to normal humans as possible] characters, etc etc. And if so, what genre are we going with?)

@Irish_Dancer1102

Hi! I love roleplay! My character's name is Skylar May, but her friends call her Sky. She is 15 years old, and lives with her mom, two sisters and her brother. She loves to run, and is always wearing sneakers. She wears black leggings all the time, and has a bow to match her outfit each day. She has ombre brown hair that goes down her back, and she has golden brown eyes. She has a special mark the shape of the infinity sign on her wrist that has been there ever since she was born. (Specialty of that later) and she can not go anywhere without her special ring that her best friend gave her before she died.

@Esther

(would anyone like to propose a setting?)

I propose that it starts in a bar in Seattle Washington, its 3 in the afternoon and those of us in the bar are wondering why were in a bar at 3 in the afternoon. Because if we're being honest, the only people that are in a bar at 3 in the afternoon are either people who are depressed or people who needed a rendezvous point.

@blue_topaz

(awesome characters everyone! @Esther, would you like to add your own character, and also great setting idea! I know pretty much nothing about Seattle, so I'll leave the descriptions of outdoor surroundings to mostly others. By the way, can we just assume that everyone knows about magic, although not everyone has it?)

Macha twisted the smooth beads on her Talisman bracelet anxiously, waiting for her drink and trying to ignore the piercing pain in the cracked part of her stone skin. She double-checked her fake ID, wings curling around her, hoping she looked 21 and not 17. The bar was almost empty, as it was 3 in the afternoon, but she scanned the few faces, looking for a familiar one. She sighed with relief after finding none, letting her huge wings slip into a more relaxed position. She didn't want to be found, especially not skipping school and sitting around in a bar when she was underage.

A stocky man in a stained polo shirt and a mustache closely resembling a furry caterpillar slid her drink over to her, and she gratefully took a sip, smiling slightly as the pain next to her eyes ebbed away. Macha dipped one long fingernail into caramel-colored alcohol, swirling around the bubbly foam and neatly dripping into the ever-widening, ever-painful cracks by her eyes and down her cheeks, relishing the feeling of the cool liquid trickling through the miniature maze of cracked stone. She felt the barkeeper staring at her, so she turned and fixed him with a penetrating look, sipping the cool, sweet beer. He looked away, face red, and she took another sip. It's almost the same color as my eyes, she thought to herself as she licked the fizzy residue off of her lips. People with stone skin like her were rare, she knew, but people with cracked stone skin? Almost unheard of.

The bell by the door tinkled, and Macha turned to observe the newcomer.

@KalamariCakes

(Thank you!)
( I decided to join because I have a winged character too! I used to do rp but.. lol. That was with warrior cats in middle school. Not my proudest moments. )

The air seemed quite dreary to a teen nearing the age of 18. The people passing him on the sidewalk simply reminded him of his own family's loneliness. But, he supposed, he still felt obligated to apologize if his dusty blue-grey heron wings brushed against bypassers. They tended to take up an uncomfortable amount of space.. and living in a city made this no easier.

"Sorry, ma'am," he called to a passing woman, who couldn't be any younger than forty with a face of harrow wrinkles etching her cheeks. His stone and sky blue eyes followed her, aimlessly hoping for a response that wouldn't typically come with the rush and busy dissosiation of city folk.

He shoved his hands in his pockets, feeling less vulnerable with them hidden in jeans, but only after tucking stray, sleek-seeming locks of cool black hair behind his ear. It came with his ethnicity, his French-English mother and Turkish father.

Peter-Michael Levine, He addressed himself in his head. How in the world did you end up in a city like this?

@Lenered

Okay, I'm joining. My character is Ace. He has tan skin, brown hair that kind of swoops up, and really bright purple eyes. Also, a scar on his chin. He's wearing a white tank top that's stained with blood,purple sweatpants, and black combat boots. Ace has a tattoo charm on his wrist that connects him with his pet dragon(named Zodiac)who he has known since childhood, when they grew up together because his people bond with dragons when they are young in an ancient ritual.

@Lenered

The bell tinkled as Ace walked into the bar. What am I doing here, he thought to himself. It was for the best really. Ace wanted to fly away from this dreary city, but Zodiac was hungry and this was the last place anyone would look for them. While Zodiac was off grazing or something, Ace had thought he could walk around, stretch, after all running from the law gets really tiring after a while, especially if your clothes have bloodstains on them. Ace wished he'd brought an extra change of clothes, because the weird looks from all the people he'd passed were kind of disconcerting. Anyway, he'd be safe in the bar, where no one would ever look for him.

@blue_topaz

Macha's eyes widened in surprise. There he was.
Her first drop.
She knew what she had to do.

Gathering her wings neatly behind her, she slipped off the stool and walked towards him, a folded piece of paper in her hand.

He needed to be warned.

@KalamariCakes

Peter caught sight of Ace entering the bar. Yeah, he knew he shouldn't go in, being underage. He splayed a hand on one of the windows for a moment out of sheer curiosity, and longing, maybe, for companionship outside of providing for his younger brothers and ill mother.

He pried his fingers off the glass when he realized the contact would leave an oil stain. He already felt guilty enough for even toying the idea of walking into a bar, but.. socialization seemed like a tantalizing prospect right now.

@blue_topaz

He didn't notice her until she was a few feet away.

Shaking, Macha extended a hand. "Macha.", she said. "Pleased to meet you, Ace."
She mentally crossed her fingers that he would overlook the fact that a random stranger knew his name. She needed him to take her hand.

Glancing quickly over his shoulder, she spotted the second drop, what was his name, err… Peter. He would be next
