(Sound good?)
(yup!)
(alright, I'm gonna be writing soon, it just might take me a while to complete the post)
(Ok)
I have a bit of a busy da today if i seem very late on my posts btw )
Still waiting for the silent Ace to answer, Macha pulled her wings in and corkscrewed downwards in a tight spiral, heading for the top of a skyscraper. "Where are we going?" Skylar yelled up to her. Macha gritted her teeth, preparing for the tricky landing. They were some 15 feet above the top of the building. Swinging her passenger forward, she dropped Sky seemingly into the air and into certain death, but the others watched in awe as she stopped falling abruptly, appearing to be standing in midair. Macha grinned and touched down, followed by Peter and Ace. As soon as her shoes hit something invisible, but undeniably solid, a concrete floor bloomed outwards from her feet and stretched, climbing up previously veiled walls until a whole new floor had appeared, ceiling-less and without walls. A brick ledge about 3.5 feet tall surrounded the perimeter of this hideout, and a small concrete structure with a metal door stood in the corner. "Macha smiled at the group. "Welcome to my place. Here, we are completely undetectable. Make yourselves at home."
Excited neighing sounded from the structure in the corner, and Macha spun around, delighted, to embrace a huge winged horse charging straight at her. "Rhea!" She stroked the Pegasus' sleek toffee-beige coat. Turning back to the others, she beamed. "Peter, Ace, Skylar, meet Rhea." The Pegasus bowed her head politely and spread her white-tipped wings. Her russet brown eyes sparkled with a sorrowful happiness.
Now serious, Macha cautioned them in a stern tone. "As soon as your whole body leaves this hideout, you're visible to the outside world. If you leave, they will catch you." You can rest here for the night, and make the decision to leave this miserable city or stay and care for your families–" Here she looked at Peter. "tomorrow morning." Then, turning to Skylar, she spoke kindly. "You are in no real danger from anyone, so it's safe for you to go back, as long as you keep quiet about anything you saw today and deny ever meeting any of us." Yawning slightly, she indicated towards the structure. "There are blankets and sleeping bags in there, the washroom is on the right of the bed, which one of you can take."
(after someone else posts, Macha will realize she needs to go back)
Peter folded his wings hesitantly, "Okay, then.." he inhaled, eyes following the sudden surroundings with impressed skepticism. "Macha?" He spoke to ask more questions.
"Hmm?" Macha replied tiredly, directing Ace over to were Zodiac was sleeping, hidden behind the structure.
Zodiac was going to hate it in here. Ace was surrounded by people he didn't know and Macha seemed to know. How did Macha know his name, how did she know about his dragon? "Look, Macha, I'm not leaving until I have answers." Ace pulled out a knife from one of his pockets, "So if you don't tell me soon, the crack in your face just might get a little bigger."
Macha regarded him, unconcerned. She called for Agalmi in his strange language, and soon the grotesque living gargoyle was perched on her hand. Ace recoiled, and Macha spoke, not unkindly. "Ace, this is Agalmi, one of my spies." The gargoyle growled at him, spotting the knife in his grasp, and dropped something red and shiny into the palm of her hand. "And this, Ace, is something you should avoid at all costs." She tossed him he object, and when he caught it, he saw that it was a circular red badge. "Any police officer wearing that is out to get you, and is part of the R.A.C., a group of murderers after certain people with magic. I'm no sure exactly what the criteria for the people on their hit list is, but if they find you, they'll torture you, collect whatever information you have, and then kill you, very slowly." She stroked Rhea's neck. "I've seen it happen firsthand, so I don't recommend staying in this city for very long, or your name is mud." Lifting her hand so that Agalmi could take flight, Macha spoke in a calming tone. "I've got spies like him posted all over the city, spying on the members of R.A.C. specifically to find out who's on their hit list so that I can get them safely out of the city. That includes you." She looked around at the others' shocked faces and said "Any questions?" Then, looking Ace straight in the eye with a penetrating gaze, she spoke again in a warning tone. "I suggest you put that knife away."
May I join I know that I'm late
(Of course, as long as you've read the rules and know what's happening!)
(I'm just waiting for @Nerd or someone else to write something and then my character is gonna go back to the bar to find her bracelet [which she hasn't realized she's lost yet], and maybe you can meet us there with Amber?)
(ok! I would like to use my character Alexander Grayson so that I can get an idea of how to write this character)
(awesome! could you tell us a little bit about him?)
He has wings and was born in a universe called Calaha.
(cool! What's his power? What do the wings look like?)
(His wings look like a crows wings and he has the power is that he can make any kind of weapon appear)
(* applause sounds *)
(thank you thank you bows)
Skylar rolled her eyes at Macha. little did Macha know, Skylar herself was running from those same people. “Well, to be honest, I’m in the same situation as all of you. I want answers. Now. I already know about those police. I’ve witnessed it all already.” She looked at her ring and sighed. “So. You gonna give us some real answers or what. Like, what are those bracelets in your wrist for? You don’t seem like the type of person who has time to make herself bracelets.” She said snidely.
Alexander ran into Skylar and started mumbling nervously. "Sorry sorry…"
'
Of course, Skylar didn't know everything, though she made it seem that way. She knew that the R.A.C were out to get her because of her magic, but she didn't know why. "Also," she continued, her voice changing from stone cold to a student asking her teacher soft. "What sort of things do they try to get from you? What kind of stuff do they want to know once they catch you? What is the point of them catching you?" question after question blurted from her mouth, and Skylar was a little amazed at herself, because even she didn't know she had that many questions. "Sorry. I'm just really curious." She said quietly afterward, looking at her feet.
(wait, Scarlett, where did Alexander come from?)
Alexander spread his wings out covering quite a few peoples faces on accident. "I just want to go back to Calaha" he said.
