(I kinda just made him show up)
(@Scarlett, would you mind kind of restarting the part where you character appears? It doesn't really make sense for him to be with the others on the building, 'cause no one else knows of it's existence or how to get to it. Sorry if that sounds rude, i mean it in the nicest possible way)
(at the bar)
Alexander knocked on the bar door trying to get out of the cold.
Macha laughed lightly. "I don't mind, Skylar." she smiled. "And, about the bracelets——" she looked down at her wrist and let out a yelp. "Dammit, dammit, dammit. No, no, please no!" She swore. One of her bracelets was missing. "I have to go back.", she said, panicking. "I'll come right back, this shouldn't take long, dammit." Now everyone was staring at her. "Stay put." Macha ordered. "Watch them, please." She added, stroking Rhea's forehead hurriedly before spreading her wings for takeoff and bursting upwards with a loud whoosh.
Macha sped back towards the bar at fever speed above the swirling clouds, knocking a few crows out of the air, blinded by tears. That bracelet was the one thing connecting her to Fae, the only thing left of her proud friend. Without it, she had no way of contacting the gargoyles Fae had made for her years ago, days before she was killed.
Landing heavily on he sidewalk, Macha rushed into the almost-full bar, nearly knocking over a redheaded girl serving beer to a couple of old men in sweaty t-shirts. "My bracelet," she wheezed frantically at the girl, who's nametag read "Amber". "I left it here. Its–" she paused for a breath. "It's a bunch of different colors– have you found anything like it?", she panted, still out of breath. "This one?" the young woman asked, pulling a small bracelet intricately braided from 7 different colored threads. "Yes! YES!! That one!" She took it from her, beaming with relief. "Thank you so much!" Macha turned to leave, but Amber stopped her.
(Your turn @Horselover418/@Scarlett :3)
"Um… okay. I didn't expect that"
R.A.C. So that was the name of the people who had murdered his entire village. He put his knife away and his anger cooled. "Macha…I need to find Zodiac. She's been missing. I can't reach her." Ace said, "Also, I think that I need to know your names." he faced towards the girl that Macha was carrying and the boy who had carried him.
Peter stayed quiet to remain aloof from the tense conversation. But inwardly, he sided a little more with Skylar, admittedly or not, he seemed to find it easier to do so in the midst of all this confusion.
"Um, I'm Peter." He answered Ace. "Sorry for the delayed intro."
(is this bit sort of going back in time?)
( im not sure xD im just kind of going along with it i suppose )
(k, I'm just gonna assume it is, and then sorta zoom back to the future when it's done)
Another gargoyle flew in silently, landing on Macha's shoulder and whispering something into her ear. She stepped closer to Ace. "Zodiac should be on her way soon, she just had to lose a few of the R.A.C's helicopters. A group of gargoyles are escorting her over here right now. If you want, Rhea can fly you to her and you can meet partway and come back."
Ace nodded, "Yeah, I'd like that." he smiled at Macha, for real this time.
Peter seemed to relax a little now that the imminent and obvious threats had subsided.
Rhea trotted easily up to Ace, letting him mount her. "Come right back, mkay? It's dangerous out there." Macha cautioned as she called for a group of gargoyles to guard them on their way.
(zooms back to the future, in the bar)
Okay )
I guess that Ace is away from the gang for the bar scenes, but I have full control over how he finds Zodiac… BWAHAHAHA!
(are we all going to the bar soon)
(yup. fast forward to when Amber gives me the bracelet back, it's your turn now :D)
Amber sees a bracelet on the bar top she looks at it for a minute and asked herself if she has ever seen someone wearing it
Landing heavily on he sidewalk, Macha rushed into the almost-full bar, nearly knocking over a redheaded girl serving beer to a couple of old men in sweaty t-shirts.
Everything was so small. The cars, the buildings, it looked like a little toy set from above. Ace closed his eyes and took in the wind flying through his hair. Even though he'd experienced flying a million times before, it got him every time. After 45 minutes of flying on a peanut butter colored Pegasus, he saw her. Zodiac. She was perched at the top of a large skyscraper. Rhea gracefully landed and Ace started towards his dragon. "I missed you Zodiac." he smiled. As much as he'd enjoyed the ride with Rhea, he missed his dragon. Ace'd been with her ever since he was born, and ever since they had taken the bond, they'd been inseparable. Besides, he missed the way her wings beat the wind, the way they could go 350 miles an hour, feeling her heartbeat along with his when they fell asleep, how she sort of blended with the night sky (Yeah, that got them out of some….tricky situations). Ace petted her head and looked up. The night sky looked like a galaxy when the clouds and pollution cleared up. But Zodiac looked like a galaxy of her own. Her markings were black, purple, indigo, turquoise, hot pink, and she had little white dots covering her which looked like stars. Stars made up constellations, constellations made up the zodiac symbols, hence the name, Zodiac. Rhea neighed impatiently. They were supposed to go back. Ace slid onto Zodiac's back, took hold of her horns, and off they went with Rhea trailing behind them. Ace wanted to go fast, but Rhea probably wouldn't be able to keep up, so they kept a steady pace of 85 miles an hour.
Also, can it be night? Because I wrote that it was night. Gosh, I feel so rude for making that decision. Oh my god, did I type that out loud?
(Yeah, It's fine.) Skylar stood, puzzled as Macha practically threw a fit and disappeared into the night sky. Suddenly curious, she turned to Peter. "Wanna go find out where she is going?" she asked playfully, motioning towards the spot where Macha had gone. When he didn't answer, she shrugged her shoulders. "Suit yourself. I'm going." She pulled up her sleeve to show the infinity sign birthmark on her left wrist. Using her right pointer and middle fingers, she gently touched it. She scrunched up her eyes and thought about Macha. 'Find Macha…' She whispered. On the inside of her eyes, she saw the bar. She was holding something, a bracelet. A girl in front of her was named Amber, and they were making light conversation. Skylar could tell that Macha wanted to get out of there, but something about Amber's eyes made her stay. Skylar opened her eyes.
"She's at the bar. I'm going too, if you… I dunno, wanna catch up or something." She called to Peter. He nodded, but didn't move any further. Turning back around towards the sky, she thought about the bar. Skylar smiled. She hadn't gotten to do this in a while. She counted down from three. One… Two… Three! Keeping her eyes closed, she jumped and did a full three-sixty, just for fun. When she landed again, she no longer felt the slight breeze from on top of the skyscraper, but a hot, dusty environment. Opening her eyes, she noticed that she was in the bar. The girl named Amber jumped, a look of shock on her face. 'Yes! I still got it.' Skylar thought.
She smiled at Amber. "Hi. My name is Skylar. Nice to meet you."
