(Lol, and just like that I'm out again. I guess it's for the best, I fell sick today so I don't think I'll be able to stay up constantly to check on this. I'll just read up later. You guys have fun~ ^-^)

Macha zoomed back to the fight, zipping in between clouds. She spiraled downwards, out of the path of at least 20 bullets and sped through narrow streets and alleyways, the fear and adrenaline coursing through her veins giving her exhausted wings the power to propel her forward. She turned a corner and landed, stumbling, but kept going as fast as possible, folding her wings back for extra speed. Macha ran onto the street where the bar was, ran in, and saw Peter on his knees in a pool of blood, body bent over in pain and gorgeous heron's wings riddled with bullet holes. "NO!", she screamed, running to his side. "Peter!" The hot tears came pouring out, streaking across her face rapidly as she frantically searched for a pulse. "No! N-no, this can't be happening!" Macha started checking for other wounds and found bullets lodged all over his body, trying not to plunge into utter hysterics. "Peter? Can you here me?! I-It's all right, you'll– you'll be just fine, listen to me—" An ambulance came riding by fast, sirens loud and clear. "OVER HERE!!", she screamed, waving her arms madly. "HELP! He needs help!", she was half blubbering, half yelling, her throat hoarse, but she didn't care. She didn't notice Ace weeping silently beside her. She barely noticed the three medics that ran in to take him to the ambulance. All that mattered was Peter.
This was all her fault.

His eyes were still open, grey and blue and terrified like a child caught in crossfire. As he was just that at heart. He subdued easily to the paramedic assistants easing him away, wings leaving behind dusty, torn feathers across the floor.

Ace put a hand on her shoulder, and Macha looked up. Her face streaked with tears. Standing up, she spoke in a shaky voice. "This is my fault. I went back for my bracelet like the idiot I am, and Peter could—- could—" She stopped her self, whispering now. "When I lost that bracelet, I panicked. If I don't wear it for more than 24 hours, I lose all contact with the gargoyles. 105 spies, gone. My chance at saving people, gone. So I left. And I found it. But now…" Her eyes filled with tears again.

(@Mish, Paddington Bear once said "If you're kind and polite, the world will be right", which is cheesy as heck, but that's pretty much what i am, and I also really love Paddington Bear, so i hope you're feeling better!)
(also, may I recommend turmeric sprinkled on top of a spoonful of honey for sore throats?)

@Mish

(@TopazWyrmlet~ You may! I'll keep that in mind the next time I get something like that. [As much as I try, I can't STAND drinking tea, so thank you for the suggestion!]

And I totally get that statement, I myself have some…personal issues which make it hard for me to stay positive all the time, but I make it a point to try to be as nice and polite to others as possible. That way, if I can't manage to be happy, at least I can make others happy and that's what counts. ^-^ And I am feeling MUCH better, thank you for your concern. ^-^)

Skylar entered the cupcake shop, watching the ambulances pick up bodies and rush away. The dim light was hard to see through, but she managed to make out three body shaped lumps. “Guys,” She started, tears streaming down her face when she saw how battered Peter was. “I am so so so so sorry. This is all my fault. If I hadn’t told you all to come here, this wouldn’t have happened. It’s all my fault. “ she managed to say through all of the tears. Ace was silent, watching his new friend laying on the floor. Macha watched Skylars every move until she sat down. “I contacted an ambulance. He should be here right away. Annyy minute nowww…” She muttered, standing up and looking out the window. Skylar realized that the screaming had stopped. Now it was a ghost town. Complete silence, except for the occasional ambulance or police car. The helicopters were gone, and the stench of blood and bodies filled the air. “I am so sorry. Here, I’ll go get an ambulance.” She said, getting up. She waited for somebody else to come with her, but nobody moved. She walked out of the door and looked around. There, coming around the corner was an ambulance. The driver didn’t seem to see her, and she jumped out to get his attention. Looking up at the last minute, he slammed on the breaks, but not in Time for her to get
Out of the way. They collided, and Skylar fell to the ground, hearing something crack. She almost passed out, but when the driver got out, she managed to get out the words; “he.. is hurt… in cupcake… shop.. help. “ and then she blacked out.

@KalamariCakes

My condolences.. i hate busy days in most cases ))

Skylar was met with mostly darkness for a few floating, ephemeral moments, until casts and shades of light swallowed her into a solid, dreamland setting of a dusktime moor. Air smelling of petrichor filled her nose.

Peter was close to death. The girl was unconscious. Macha was sobbing uncontrollably and Ace would've died right there and then if he had a chance of reversing this. It was all his fault. He should've never came to this wretched city. But……Even if the past few days had been a nightmare, he had made friends. The first ones he'd made ever since that day. Zodiac poked her head through the door, covered in scars and blood. She moaned and her head dropped to the ground and she closed her eyes. But she wasn't dead. If Zodiac was dead, the link would've disappeared. "Macha, it's going to be okay." Ace whispered into her ear, but even he could tell he was lying. Ace put an arm around her shoulder and closed his eyes, hoping that no one would notice the tears streaming down his cheeks.

Macha wept in despair as Sky was driven away in an ambulance. The helicopters had moved East, and with them, a throng of people shouting insults and taking out R.A.C. officers, ready to fight. The sound of wings pumping sounded behind them and they turned to see a very much awake Amber astride a very certain Pegasus. "Rhea!", Macha cried, running forward to embrace the proud mare. "I thought you were with Ace! And Amber! How are you feeling." Her heart sank again as she explained the situation to the two, but her insides were burning, craving justice. With a fierce gaze, she turned to Ace. "You wanna help me fight?" He nodded passionately. She nodded determinedly. "But first, I haven't been completely honest with you."
