"Yeah, let's just focus on making a profit for now." Aspen smirked and beckoned them to follow him into the back room. "Come on, it's time we took inventory. We need to open in time for morning rush."

"Alright," Ember said. He smiled at the idea of them all running the shop together. Happiness bubbled inside of them at the thought of finally having real friends.
(where did everyone go lol)
(Idk)
(I think we need more action. Timeskip?)
(Sure. Want to figure out a plot to make it more interesting?)
(Idk maybe an angery customer would be interesting)
(sure lol lets see how we respond)
(Timeskip)
Oyoyo was learning how to make coffee when heard the door to the shop fly open. She turned to see a human woman wearing fancy clothes and heels. She was carrying a purse with gemstones in it and had tons of makeup on her face. “Can I help you?”, she asked the woman.
Aspen kept his eyes glued to the Rueben he was making, gingerly layering Saurkeat and Corned Beef to take his mind off of the woman, who reminded him strikingly of his mother. "Good morning, ma'am." He said politely.
“I’d like a coffee with French vanilla creamer and sugar and a chocolate doughnut with creme filling.”, she said. Oyoyo froze and looked over at Aspen. She had no clue how to make a doughnut and was still learning how to make coffee.
Aspen cast Oyoyo a knowing look and motioned for her to make the coffee while he prepared the doughnut. "Coming right up, ma'am. Feel free to take a seat, and the WiFi password is posted on the chalkboard menu behind me."
(lol Irl I don’t actually know how to make coffee because I’m a tea person XD)
The woman automatically glanced at the WiFi password and pulled out her phone. She sat at one of the booths with her eyes glued to the phone. Oyoyo went to the kitchen and turned on the coffee machine. She was a little nervous about screwing up the coffee.
Aspen ran over to her with a concerned expression etched on his face. "You've got this, Oyoyo. Just brew the coffee, add the creamer, add the french vanilla flavouring, and add the sugar. You'll do fine."
(Omg I literally had to search up how to make coffee)
“Umm… Should the water be hot or cold? What the heck is decaf?”, she asked. A confused expression came across her face.
"It should already be heated. Decaf is the button on the left, just under the 'Strong' button." Aspen pressed the button with his elbow and returned to the doughnut, using a small injector to insert the creme into the centre.
Oyoyo added the grounds to the coffee maker. She hoped she added the right amount. Oyoyo watched the coffee pour into the cup. After a while the coffee maker started to make strange sounds. It sounded like it didn’t work right. She turned to Aspen. “What’s wrong with the coffee maker?”, she asked anxiously.
Aspen turned in time to see the coffeemaker begin to steam, a red light blinking on and buzzing to warn of a major malfunction. "Oyoyo! Back away!!" He grabbed a fire extinguisher and reached over to turn the machine off.
But he was too late.
The scalding hot liquid sprayed all over him and the lady, burning them, before catching fire. Aspen put the fire out quickly and immediately rushed over to the woman. "Are you alright? You meal is free. I am so sorry…"
(Sorry I was gone for so long. Went on a run :) )
“I’m so sorry.”, Oyoyo said. She was really sorry. Oyoyo couldn’t stand to be in the shop any longer. She felt like a failure. Trying to think of an excuse to run off, she said the first thing that came to her mind. “I-I have to go to a business meeting”, she yelled. She opened her wallet and threw down $200 to replace the coffee machine and ran out of the building. Oyoyo opened up her wings and flew to the top of the nearest large building. She sat of the ledge of the building and scolded herself. All I’m good for is destroying things and lighting things on fire
Aspen blinked at Oyoyo, sensing her emotions but helpless to do anything about it. Well, heck k. I'll call her later.
Ember burst through the doors of the coffee shop, breathing heavily with blood dripping from his swollen lip. "Sorry I'm late, I– what happened??"
"Oh thank God, Ember." Aspen sighed, rushing the angry customer to the bathroom. "The coffee machine broke, Oyoyo freaked out and left, I'm burned, that random lady's burned, I- Woah, is your lip okay?"
Oyoyo was angry at herself. She grabbed a rock that was the size of her fist and threw as hard as she could from where she sat. The rock crumbled when it hit the ground. She smiled a little. At least I’m still strong., she thought. I could beat anyone in a fight. Oyoyo heard her phone ring. She picked it up to see who was calling her, but then it slipped out of her hands and fell from five stories. The phone shattered when it hit the ground. She hissed and flew down to retrieve her phone.
Ember wiped the blood off of his lip with the back of his hand. "I'm fine, let's take care of both of you first. Where did you get burned?" He said.
"I'm fine. Here, let's just leave her alone and head back out front. I'll clean, you finish sandwiches for lunch rush."
