@ODragon
Skylar frowned. “Rvan, what are you saying?”
Skylar frowned. “Rvan, what are you saying?”
“He was talking to someone. He was asking for permission to help me. Natalia was there too,” Rvan responded shyly.
“What? You heard Deviros and Natalia? Are you sure it was them?” Nula questioned fiercely.
“You saw Natalia?” Thalia asked as she became very pale.
“I know it was them. Natalia touched my forehead,” Rvan replied, lowering his eyes the more he realized everyone was staring at him.
“I always thought Deviros and Natalia were lies that Council had created long ago.” Draco said and shook his head in disbelief.
“He called me his son.” Rvan murmured quietly enough that only Skylar noticed.
There was a long pause.
“That makes sense. “ Nula said as if someone just told her that gravity makes things go down.
Draco sighed in relief. At least the boy was alive, by some miracle. The situation suddenly became more apparent, “We need to get to the border still.” The protèges nodded and shifted, all except Rvan, Ebony, Ramell, and Draco. Draco got on Kyle, Ramell and Ebony on their eldest son. Gregory waited for Rvan to hop on, but he didn’t. Rvan looked Skylar in the eyes as he slowly tried to touch that familiar part of him. He body flared in a flash of black light, and a dragon emerged from the shadows. Rvan was different. He had a new draman form. It had a pure white head, fading to a vantablack chest. His arms legs and tail were tipped with white. He took flight before anyone could say anything. And Rvan flew to the border. To freedom.
(Here is kinda what Rvan looks like now)
(I think I’m gonna take a break. This is a good time to stop anyhow)
(NOOOO. ONE MORE POST? Pleeeaaaase?)
Fine
Skylar flew to meet Rvan. She spread out her wings (which were currently icy) and brushed the tips of her wings against Rvan’s.
(YYYAAAAYYYY!)
And they flew across the border. Twilight shadows gracing their path. They could tell they were passed the border when the chopper had turned around and headed in the other direction. They were free. That is, until, another draman flew up to them, wearing a blue, red, and white vest. The word SHERIFF was etched on the front, “Halt. You entered Sorcium’s territory. States your names and purpose, then follow me.”
Kyle flew forward slightly with Draco, “My name is Draco Legocio, and we seek refuge across our borders,” Kan flew forward as well, and Ramell told the cop his and Ebony’s names, “Here we have Kan, Edwin, and Clay Keifer, Rigel Slate and Emora Humbe. That’s Skylar Serideen, Gregory McGyver, Nula -er- Legocio (cause Nula had no surname and Draco covered for her, they aren’t related), Thalia Floren, Kyle Embre, and…”
The cop finally looked up from his notepad as he looked at Rvan. The notepad nearly fell out of his hands and he stuttered, “W-What are you?”
“He’s a-“ Draco began to answer for him.
“I’m Rvan Soltan. I’m a shadow draman,” Rvan’s voice came out like a purr in his new dragon form. The cop shuddered slightly and start to avoid looking at him.
“C-Come with me,” The sheriff draman replied, and turned around and flew. The dramans followed.
(I’ve been waiting for days for a response)
For some time, there was no sound, other than the wind roaring between the dramans ‘s wings. Thalia flew near Nula, Draco and Kyle. (Note Thalia, Draco and Nula have fallen to the back of the pack so the sheriff can’t here them) (Also I can play Thalia and Draco). “Do you guys know anything about the nations that border Luxia?”
“No,” Kyle replied hesistantly, eyeing the sheriff. Rvan was flying next to the cop, talking. The sheriff looked to intimidated to respond.
Nula glanced at Rvan’s new form too. It was… interesting. She had yet to decide if it was for good or for worse. She barely heard the question, “They target dramans for jobs like cops and fire fighters and construction workers.”
“We are in Terris.” Draco added. “And Nula is absolutely right about the specific jobs they target for dramans. Although, the laws are less strict on dramans here. Dramans can live where they choose and even marry each other.” A muscle in his jaw tightened at the word marry.
Kyle’s eyes widened, “They can marry each other?” He asked, his eyes darting to Thalia for a few seconds on accident. The small group heard Ebony’s cackle of delight through the winds, but most of them tried to… ignore it. Gregory raised his eyebrows though. Kyle was still looking at Thalia.
“Yes, Dumbo,” Nula said, hitting Kyle over the head with one wing.
The corners of Draco’s lips curled towards the sky. He already knew what Kyle was thinking.
Rvan looked at the cop with inquisitive eyes, “Where are you taking us?”
The sheriff’s head whipped to him with slight panic, “I’m taking you to the Head Officials of Terris.” Rvan noted the draman’s fear of him and tucked that piece of information into the back of his mind.
On another note, Rvan felt… different. He remembered all that had happened to him but… there wasn’t a crippling fear attached to the memories anymore. Rvan saw the memories crystal clear. And he wasn’t quite sure what to think. He felt like a skeptic.
“Wow.” Thalia said. “It’s hard the imagine that there are parts of the world that still allows draman marriage. Although, I guess I never really thought about it before.” She could feel Kyle’s gaze burning into the back of her neck. Why was he staring at her? And why had Ebony been laughing just a few seconds ago. Thalia felt the nagging sensation that she missed something important, but she blew it off.
Along the way, a female cop joined them in escorting them to the government officials. She seemed equally intimidated by Rvan’s dark presence. Rvan slowly made his way to the end of the group, letting shadows whip around his limbs.
