She remembered the day she gotten a terrible stomach flu a month ago. Everything she ate came back up so she couldn’t eat anything despite how hungry she was. Jay had stopped by to give some company. Skylar had appreciated the gesture, but the boy had devoured an entire sandwich in front of her, which had only worsened her hunger. Skylar sup posed she had just gotten to people not noticing her pain and fear. She often expected Jay and her mother and her teammates to over look her struggles…It was strange to think that Rvan had evening been paying attention.
“Yeah,” Rvan said quietly, “I didn’t want to be rude,” Rvan gave another tiny smile.
“Oh. Don’t worry about it, Rvan.” Skylar said, waving him off. “I’m not really worth waiting for anyway.” She careful sipped a spoonful of soup.
“You are for me,” Rvan said quietly before carefully taking a spoonful of soup himself. It tasted too rich, too salty, but he made sure to down the spoonful.
Skylar wasn’t the kind of person to show many emotions, but she felt the heat of a blush in her cheeks.
Rvan tried bits and pieces of foods here and there, finally settling to nibbling on a roll. Draco had gotten up a to relieve himself a few seconds ago. (Ebony?)
(Yeah we can do it now. You wanna play Ebony while I do Ramell)
Ebony cocked her head to the side and frowned at the spot Draco was sitting. She was so sure Anne would have been a perfect match for Draco.
“Do you think Draco is gay?” She asked her husband.
(Speaking of being gay do you think Gregory should be gay and have a crush on one of Ramell’s sons?)
(Nah, I think Nula would be a better fit if anyone. I don’t think Gregory is gay, no offense intended, I just feel like Gregory shouldn’t be in a romantic relationship now. We gotta make a character like Fritznangle sobbing in corner Fritz was adorable at the crossroads by the way. I forgot that he had been dancing with other guys when he had the Crimson Dragon, and I was all like, “MY FRITZNANGLE! He’s growing up so fast… But now he’s… more sobs)
Ramell howled with laughter, “No, no, I know he’s into woman, and he’s had plenty of women back in the day.”
“Then, why do you think Draco keeps on turning down the women I send his way? They were all really nice ladies.” She continued.
Ramell paused for a second, and when he thought the protèges weren’t listening in too badly, “I’m sure he might have eyes for someone else, but who knows?” Ramell chuckled to himself.
Rvan quietly examined his roll as he overheard Ramell and his wife’s conversation, but he didn’t really feel like doing anything with the information, rather he just picked at his bread quietly.
Skylar had been trying so hard to ignore Ramell and Ebony Keifer’s conversation about Draco’s love interests, but she couldn’t for to reasons: Mr. and Mrs. Keifer had no volume control and a small part of her wanted to know just to put a few suspicions to rest. I’m sure has eyes for someone else. Those words echoed in Skylar’s head and made her feel nauseous.
Meanwhile, Thalia, Nula, Gregory and Kyle listened very intently to what the Keifers said because Draco had never talked amount his love life, but all of his protégés had wondered about it.
(I love how Ramell thought no one was listening, BUT EVERYONE WAS)
Rvan was started to feel slightly sick to his stomach from eating so much (a few bites of a roll, a spoonful of soup, and merely a taste of beans. So much!). He grabbed his abdomen and bit his lip and shifted in discomfort.
(What do think sound happen now?)
Rvan got up from the table soundlessly and walked out, ignoring the others. He stumbled into the bathing room and hurled up his guts. The food was… too much. Too much at once. He puked again, his face draining of color and his eyes going blank.
When Rvan got up and left the room, both Thalia and Skylar rose from their seats to go check on him at the same time. Skylar and Thalia’s eye met. Skylar braced herself for a mocking question or a raise of an eyebrow, but Thalia just sat back down and waved Skylar off. “He’d probably want to see you more anyway.” Thalia admitted. There was no jealousy in her voice or hostility. Thalia seemed fine with the fact Skylar was going to check on Rvan.
“Thank you, Thalia.” Skylar said as she looked her former friend in the eye. If the roles had been reversed, Skylar probably wouldn’t have trusted Thalia with any of her ice teammates so she was great full for Thalia’s trust and alliance.
Skylar turned to follow the path Rvan had taken. She continued to walked until she heard Rvan vomiting. “Rvan?!” She shouted as she dashed down the hall to the nearest bathroom.
She found Rvan hunched over the toilet.
(How can Skylar help Rvan?)
Rvan slowly wiped the spittle off his face as he looked up and saw Skylar there. He gave a small smiled before bile found it’s way up his throat and into the toilet. Rvan got up shakily on his feet and walked past Skylar to his room.
Just like that the encounter was over and Skylar didn’t know what to think. He was just so… calm. So… far away. She didn’t know what to do.
(I suppose. Can u set the scene?)
Rvan had gotten up to the bustle and rustle of the other protèges running about, gathering supplies, getting ready to leave. He couldn’t wait to feel the open air again and fly— but he couldn’t. Rvan couldn’t fly again. Rvan was human. He was having a hard time cementing that in his mind lately, especially with the dreams he’s been sharing…
Rvan walked out into the hall for no particular reason, maybe it was just to quietly watch everyone do what they do. It was getting easier, to be more present, yet… another part of him was somewhere else. Yet along with being more present, Rvan remembered more bits and flashed of the horrors he had been shutting out. He remembered the knifes they used to cut so precisely, he remembered the insects they’d set upon him, he remembered… Rvan felt it come with just enough time to get the the bathroom. He hurled up bile. He wiped his chin and washed his face. That was enough remembering for one day. Rvan walked to the lounge where some of the protèges waited, packed and ready to go.
