She leans against his shoulder. "That sounds great about now." She smiled a little.

Will jumps up, Nico standing. "Is she safe?!" Will grabs the Doctors shoulders. "Is she with Da'in?" Nico asks, his eyes filled with worry.

"Both of those are a yes! Come on, we need to go now!" the Doctor said excitedly. "Hold up, Cousin. All of Gallifrey is looking for you, you know. Take it slowly." Innocet said.

Da'in helped her lie down onto the bed, then climbed into the top bunk himself. "Goodnight, Vix. Just tell me if you need anything." he said softly.

Vix smiles at him, cupping his cheek. "Thank you." She says softly, pecking his cheek in gratitude. She curls up, shutting her eyes. "I will." She calls softly once he was on his bunk.

Will was looking desperate. "So what now?" He asks. "And how do we find them, doctor? You haven't told us that. Where are they?" Nice asks, placing a hand on Will's shoulder.

"I don't know that, but your daughter left me something to find them with." he said. "Ah, and it was… okay, right, ah… he looked at his palm. There was a faintly glowing circle in the middle. "This. It'll get brighter as we get closer." he said.

Will and Nico glance at the circle of light in his hand. "What…?" Nico kisses Will's forehead. "I'm guessing Vix gave the doctor a tracking spell. He says softly, looking at the doctor.

"Something like that. Alright, listen. Innocet, if they find us here with you, it'll be bad for us and you. If they find us alone, you'll be safer. Now come on, team." the Doctor said. Alison finally looked up. "Alright." she said softly. "Here, a perception filter of my own devising. It can at least help in getting out safely." Innocet handed the Doctor a small black box. "Thanks." he patted her shoulder. "Well, let's go then." Ozzie said. She was smiling for the first time in quite a while.

Will and Nico nod determinedly. They were ready to get their daughter back. Nico looks at Alison. "We'll get them back." He says gently. "Let's go." Will said softly.

"Goodbye, Innocet. I hope I'll see you again, that would mean we actually survive this encounter." the Doctor said. "I'd be more convinced you did survive if I never saw you again." Innocet laughed, waving them off as they stepped onto a lift, downwards and out into the city.

Vix tossed and turned in her sleep, grunting in pain, not managing to sleep after an hour or so of rest. Finally she sighs in defeat. "Da'in?" She asks softly, peeping over to his bunk.

Will takes a deep breath and tried to keep calm. He was ready to get their kids back. But. He was terrified of seeing the state they were in. Were they okay?

"Mhm… what do you need, Vix? Can't sleep?" he asked, yawning slightly.

"The CIA most likely has them. Let's start there." the Doctor directed, as they walked past strangers who didn't seem to quite notice them. "Now, walk slowly, surreptitiously. We're ghost. People will only see us if we draw attention to ourselves." he lead them through the busy yet sparkling clean streets.

She shakes her head. "No…" She says softly, looking down. She fumbles with her fingers tiredly. She was exhausted but she couldn't sleep.

"Er… is there anything I could do to help you with that?" Da'in asked.

"Could I… Could I sleep next to you…?" She asks softly. Sleeping with her dad's normally calmed her down. She fiddles with her fingers. It was a Longshot, but it was worth asking.

"I don't see why not." he said, climbing down from his bunk. He sat down on her bed, patting on the mattress. "Sit down then. Want to tell me what's bothering you?" he asked. It wasn't his place to ask a woman something like that, especially not one as amazing as Vixianne, but it helped Ozzie when she was having a rough night, and even if Vix objected, it never hurt to ask.

Vix sits beside him, leaning into his warmth. He was her comfort. She had been so scared by her dream, she felt as if she were going to fall apart. "I'm not sure…" She whispers. "There were jumbled dreams. Some I couldn't even understand… They were dark though…" She whispers.

"I could tell you a story? That might help?" he remembered the legends and myths from his homeworld. One of those might cheer her up?

Vix nods slowly. Maybe that would help. She cuddles into his side, waiting for him to start. Maybe it would help her calm down.

The Alreesh believed that the sky was actually the inside walls of the womb of Ku'atsi, the Eternal Mother of All. Aside from a select few, her children stayed within her always, safe for eternity. Da'in explained that the Alreesh planet was actually the goddess Nu'akt. The Alreesh called her the Peacekeeper. "Nu'akt stands between Ru'ahn and Hu'ate, to stop them fighting. The sun and moon. The largest moon, anyway," Da'in confirmed. "There are five others, but they're really small so I guess they orbit faster. You can see them during the day and the night, so we don't believe they took a stance in the fight. Ku'atasanni came. She's Ku'atsi's eldest daughter. She's Death. Ku'atasanni came looking for a disciple." he said, then paused. "Anyways, no one wanted to go. Hu'ate ordered Ru'ahn to go with her, but he refused." Suddenly Da'in looked genuinely sad and he said the next part quietly. "Hu'ate clawed his face, marking him forever for his disobedience—the moon has a big, black, jagged mark across its surface. To hurt him more, she sent Ju'atse, whom Ru'ahn loved most of all his brothers and sisters, to be Ku'atasanni's disciple. Ju'atse's service made it so that anyone who touched him died terribly, so he could never go home. Ju'atse translates to 'plague' in my language." Da'in pauses again, waiting for Vixianne to say something, maybe.

Vix looks up when he finished. "That's so sad…" Her eyes were droopy looking but she rested on Da'in's side. "Our myths are just those of Greek mythology. So it's not that interesting… Mostly a lot of war, the gods arguing…" She nuzzles into his side, yawning softly.

"Sometimes, rarely, but sometimes, Ru'ahn goes in front of Hu'ate. He is so angry with her, that they will begin to fight horribly. The moon will turn a bright red, and I don't just mean those blood moons they have back on Earth, I mean red. Sometimes it's just in patches, sometimes it's the whole thing. We think of the red as the blood on Ru'ahn's hands and face from the fighting." Da'in said. "The Doctor says it's probably just some sort of flora that turns red in direct sunlight. I'd like to see it for myself, though." he yawned, settling down. He really was tired. He breathed in and out softly, counting the beats of his heart until he drifted off into deep sleep.

When Da'in woke up, Vix was still asleep, curled into herself, nuzzled into his warmth. Her breathing was slow and soft, small pieces of hair falling into her face. She looked rather peaceful compared to the night before.

"Hmm… Vix?" Da'in said. Ace walked through the door just as Da'in woke up. "Ah, sorry, was I interrupting anything?" she said. "What do you mean?" he asked. Good God. That kid is too innocent for this world. "Er, nothing. Anyways, you'd better get up now, you know who wants to have a chat." she said.
