(Hey, how are you, Bleu?)
(Hey, how are you, Bleu?)
(Hey, can I talk to you? I know you don't need to know about my crap and whatever, I just feel like I can trust you to talk to. Sorry, if you don't want to chat, I totally understand, I'm just…. well, a little scared, actually. But um, sorry, I just was hoping to talk with someone and whatnot, but I mean, it's kinda…. well, yeah. Er…. you don't need to talk or listen to anything I have to say. I just was wondering. But nevermind. Aaaaand now it feels awkward.)
(Just forget I ever said anything, sorry to bother you.)
No, it's okay. Go ahead. I don't mind.//
(I've been… well, I've been feeling suicidal lately. I just don't see much point in life, or continuing it. Sorry, it's stupid, I shouldn't have bothered. Forget it, I suppose.)
No. I understand. I feel really suicidal at times. But I can assure you it does get better. Why don't we PM and I can talk with you there?//
(Sure. I can set up the PM?)
(Could we maybe continue to RP now? Idk. Sorry.)
(I'm just… I dunno.)
Sure, I might be on and off, thanks to class//
Vix starts when she's acknowledged. She had rarely been acknowledged as a child. Usually only by her fathers. She smiles warmly at Da'in. "U-um yes. Right." She reaches her hand and her face turns to one of the concentration. And then she started walking. "This way."
(Okay.)
That's brilliant. She's brilliant, come to think of it. Da'in thought, admiring her skills that he could never possess. The group followed, most uneasy. This place felt wrong somehow, you couldn't put your finger on it. It seemed… dead, in a way.
Vix opens her eyes and tilts her head side to side, smiling now that she could see. She looks around and stretches out her hand again. She winces slightly, holding her head before focusing and outstretching her magic further. She walks again, humming a soft tune as she does so.
"Well, let's discuss theories then. Alright. So, planets going missing. You can't move a planet without a massive amount of power, so that's already narrowed it down quite a lot. Now, what would you do with all of those planets, then? Hmm? Ideas, anyone?" the future Doctor asked the group. Oswald honestly had no idea what you'd want with a while planet, but obviously someone needed the planets for something.
Nico and Will shake their heads quietly as Will watches Vix. She stumbled a little, and Will's concern grew. She was probably wasting a lot of her energy on this spell. Vix leans against a wall, her breathing unsteady. "One sec." She says softly before straightening and extending her hand again.
"Listen, if you're getting tired, feel free to stop. I'm sure we'll find our way out eventually either way, you don't have to overexert yourself." Da'in said quickly, stepping over to help Vix if she needed any assistance.
Vix looks up and smiles sweetly. "Thanks, Da'in. That's very sweet of you to be concerned." She says gently. "But I'll be okay." She places a small hand on his shoulder before walking forwards.
Da'in found himself feeling a warm feeling in his chest and face, not quite embarrassment, but something he couldn't quite place. A sort of strange happiness. And she had called me sweet. Nobody's ever been that nice, except my family, and the Bannerman Road gang. Which is, in all honesty, a little bit of a childish name. But it works. he thought to himself. "Well then. Planets. Alright, my main theory is, given he planets we found missing, that it mainly depends on where you put them, and the alignment. So, it's a power source. Thank you, astronomy maps at the Shadow Proclamation Hub. Someone is using an immense amount of power to get even more of it. It's my best theory, it's idiotic to do anything otherwise. The one thing I question is that once they've disappeared, there's been no trace of them. Even the TARDIS can't locate them, so whoever it is… I don't fancy a cup of tea and a chat with them." the future Doctor said.
Vix smiles warmly at Da'in before continuing to walk. "So…" Will taps his lip. "First the Earth and now this. Are we ever going to get a break?" Nico asks, bumping Will's hip. Will laughs softly at that. "To true." Vix hums softly as she walks and glances around before turning left. "We're almost there." She says quietly.
"Wait, stop." the third Doctor said. "Glass. Crunching beneath our feet. But no broken windows, nothing it could have been cast from. So, why is there glass on the floor?" he asked, gesturing to the ground where there was indeed broken glass. "I can think of two solutions. One, someone put it there, or two, we're, well, you might not believe me…" he said cautiously. "Dream state?" his future incarnation asked. "Well, of course. I mean, did you truly believe that Jo Grant and I would really be on Gallifrey, what with my -our, I mean, as you are me- exile? And this place, well, it's decorated nearly the same as the house of Lungbarrow. You're all having a forcefully induced psychic episode. Things out of the ordinary, something from a bad memory you've tried to forget, like the glass, appear. You need to look for things out of the ordinary, that don't line up. Sloppy job, I'll admit, with all the obvious clues. And they got the nose all wrong. It's incredibly beaky, ridiculous." the third Doctor explained. "Your nose is normally like that, Doctor. Now, listen to me, all of you. Especially those here with the psychic abilities. Are you ready for this?" Jo said.
(Hey.)
I swear I replied…//
Vix looks down and picks a shard up, but crying out in pain as it cuts into her finger. She looks at her hand as a small drop of blood trails down her finger and into her palm. "A dream state?" She asks curiously as she watches the blood pool into her hand. "But unlike your usual dream scape you can touch and feel things?" She asks as she looks at the doctors. She smiles a little. "This is getting more and more interesting. Anyways. I can sense we're getting close. We can discuss this later… Or while we're walking. Dad isn't very fond of tight spaces." Will chuckles softly. "That I can't argue with."
"None of this is real. You need to wake up. Finding the exit generally works with these things, I'll agree, but if it doesn't, you need to focus. You need to wake up." Jo said. Her dress was like plastic, figure like cardboard, as she and the past Doctor were compressing into two-dimensional figures. "It was difficult to assume a figure you'd trust, Doctor. But once you find your way out of here, the dream will fade, and quickly. And Doctor?" Jo asked, she was somewhat transparent now. "Yes?" the future Doctor watched the two fade. Jo's voice came faintly now, thinning to a distorted electronic reproduction. Her barely visible figure leaned in, and whispered something into his ear, and with that, she and her Doctor faded away entirely. There was a flash of burning white, and the hallway disappeared, leaving an empty white space of flaring light. "None of this is real, as she said. But since everything has faded away…. it'll be difficult to leave. Vixianne, you have psychic abilities, yes? Well, it'll take both of ours to leave here, as we statistically speaking have the strongest minds. You need to focus. This isn't real. Everyone focus. This isn't real. Wake up." the Doctor ordered. "You are deep inside this dream, all right, and it is a shared mental state, so it is drawing power from the multi-consciousness gestalt which has now formed telepathically and- never mind, the scientific explanation is too long, it's a time-waster." he sighed. "Just focus, as I said earlier. Not real."
Vix looks at the doctor. Her hand had healed from the cut, so she understood that she was in a dream dimension. Will and Nico took each other's hand before Will offered his hand to her. She smiles and takes her father's hand, before offering hers to Da'in. She takes a deep breath and looks at the doctor. "I'm ready." She says softly. "Just tell me what to do and when."
"Alright. Yes. The hand-holdy thing. Right." the Doctor said. Da'in took Vixianne's hand, and Oswald, Joe, and Alison all grasped hands in turn. "This is incredibly cheesy. Alright, so, you need to focus on waking up, then. It's a bit complicated for a human, but you need to force your conscious mind to break away from the subconscious, if only temporarily. Vix, it's easier for you and I, as we both have the proper skills. So, I'll try and send you all off then, but I'll need you, Vix, to help me do this. Can you?" the Doctor asked.
Vix looks at the others before looking at the doctor and taking a deep breath. She smiles gently and nods. "Yeah. I'm ready." She whispered softly.
