Vaughn pushed himself up with a grunt, following Argo to the bar slowly. He could walk fine, though his calf throbbed sharply where there was a gash across it, a rip in his pants from it.
Argo opened the door, keeping it open for Vaughn as he deposited Kaz on the counter. Cas came out of the kitchen, a look of concern and irritation on his face. “I am going to kick the ass of the fucker who ran into you two, and then I’m gonna enchant your bike to kick their ass again,” he spat
"Yup," Lana agreed. The waitress brought over the bill just as she finished her food. "Ready to head out?"
Thorn stood up and nodded, "Yep. Can't wait to watch a movie. It's been forever since I've been in the theater."
"Let's go," Lana said, standing as well and leaving the money, plus a tip, on the table. She lead the way back out of the restaurant and onto the sidewalk.
Thorn followed her out onto the sidewalk. She let out a slight awe at the city during the night. She had never seen it like this, "Wow."
"You know, the hospital's kinda rude to not let you go out at night," Lana mused, "since you can only go out at night and all. I get wanting to close the hospital at a certain time, but they could just let you enter and exit through the emergency room."

Vaughn headed into the bar and leaned against the counter with his good hand. “I didn’t get a good look at the guy, but it was a pretty good sized truck. I’m sure the bike is wrecked,” he commented with a heavy frown.
Luka grinned, running a hand through his hair. "Seriously? When do I get to watch it, man?"
"Whenever you want I guess," Axel shrugged, his face turning red when he realized what the words implied. A small, nervous laugh escaped his lips as he looked down, rubbing the back of his neck embarrassingly. "I-I mean. . ."
Thorn shrugged, "They offered when I first got there. I was still bummed out about not being able to see the sunlight, so I said no. They never bothered to offer again, despite the fact I said 'I don't know. Not right now'."
Luka turned to face Axel, coming closer and hugging him. "I like hugs."
(Luka's too awkward to kiss Axel)
(He wants to, but he's just a smol bean)
"I, uh, like them too," Axel answered after a pause, leaning against Luka's chest hesitantly. He had pushed so many people away all these years since he lost his leg and it felt odd to let people back in.
"Looks like I'll be talking to the hospital staff," Lana said, popping her knuckles. "As much as I love sneaking out, it'd be easier if we could come and go as we please."
(Lmao, Axel's an awkward kid too.)
"That's nice." Luka didn't let go, burying his face into Axel's neck and his cute hair. He liked hugs. They always felt so secure, as if he wasn't going to slip away any second and fall asleep.
Thorn let out a slight laugh, "It would be. Thanks if you do, do that."

"Don't worry, I've fixed it up from worse," Kaz said, waving a hand in Vaughn's general direction. "When I first put it together the thing was half rust and half dents. And if I'm lucky I might get Erik to help me." Cas rolled his eyes behind the sunglasses he used for work, pulling a small syringe from his pocket and drawing some blood from himself.
"Okay lovebirds, you're both getting an injection and then you're gonna sleep off your injuries somewhere. Who wants to go first?"
Thorn let out a slight laugh, "It would be. Thanks if you do, do that."
"Oh, I definitely will." They arrived at the movies a few minutes later. Lana gazed up at the sign showing all the movies that were playing. "Which do you want to watch?"
"Oh I don't know," Thorn sighed. She looked at the titles and pointed to one, "That one?"
Vaughn looked over at Cas, at the syringe he was holding. He was aware of how Kaz didn’t like needles, so he would go first to show him that it was alright. “I’ll go first, I guess,” he spoke up, glancing over at Kaz. He had no idea how this was supposed to work, but he supposed that he would figure out soon enough.
"Okay. On the count of three. One, two," Cas said before injecting the dark blood into Vaughn's arm. He never counted to three, he always used the needle on one or two since he thought it helped people freak out less. "Okay, one down, one to go. Your turn, Kazoo," he said, drawing more blood before walking over to Kaz
"Good choice," Lana said with a smile. "Two tickets," she told the cashier.
Thorn smiled back as Lana paid for the tickets. She would have asked for popcorn if they hadn't just eaten. It was all good though.
"Okay. On the count of three. One, two," Cas said before injecting the dark blood into Vaughn's arm. He never counted to three, he always used the needle on one or two since he thought it helped people freak out less. "Okay, one down, one to go. Vaughn’s jaw clenched when the needle was stuck into his arm. Afterwards, he rubbed at the spot where the needle had been stuck in the skin. It didn’t hurt too bad, and he wondered how long it would take for the effects to kick in.
"Don't bother counting, Cas. Just jab me," Kaz muttered, waving his arm dramatically in the air. Cas rolled his eyes, taking his arm and injecting him while Kaz winced. He rubbed at the spot where he had been injected, which ached slightly.
"Okay, lovebirds, have Argo teleport you up to the apartment, you both should be out cold within an hour and I don't need you passing out on my counter. Now shoo," Cas said, motioning with his hands while Argo sighed. The demon snapped his fingers, and Kaz and Vaughn were laying on Kaz's bed in the blink of an eye
