Hiro nodded and took his saber. Examining it and then holstering it. “Thank you..”

Winter sighed and ran her hands through her hair.
"Alrighty. Everyone to the cockpit. It's landing time. Let's see who we can recognize."

Hito chuckled and lifted his little new sibling onto his shoulders

Winter and Elias sat down in their chairs and ran pre landing checks. Everything was looking good. They began the landing sequence onto Coruscant and onto their designated landing pad. As they touched down, Elias and Winter recognized several senators. Leia was waiting, as well as senators from Pantora and Mandalore. Beside Leia a man who looked liked her, which could only be her brother stood. Winter recognized the prince from Artorias as he stood with his master. Winter laughed.
"Hiro! I think your presence brough the one man we were looking for out of hiding! Leia's brother is waiting on us at the landing pad. As are some members of the senatorial body of Mandalore. Look regal buddy! You've got a crowd. Walk between Elias and I. Frost will hold Elias' hand. If anyone asks, we adopted you with the traditional rules of Mandalore, and you are learning under us. Leia's brother will know what that means. The Prince of Artorias is learning under him. You really can't say Padawan right now."
Elias stood up and let Winter finish landing.
"Alright. Everyone ready?"

Hiro nodded and waited for his family, it was a funny thing. A mandalorian child raised with hothians.

Winter stood up after landing the ship, she smoothed her outfit, and hastily walked out of the cockpit and went into her room. She pulled out a box and grabbed her crown, Elias' crown, and Frost's crown, and came back out. Elias widened his eyes.
"I'm surprised we almost forgot those. People would have been mad. Hey, go grab my spare. The older one they first designed. The one with the kyber crystal in the etched gray durasteel. It'll compliment our blue durasteel ones with the kyber shards."
Winter raised eyebrows.
"That's a good idea hun. Give me a second."
Winter went back to her room and pulled out the other crown. She came back and handed it to Hiro.
"Here. Put it on. We can't have you looking anything less than royalty. Elias, how does this sound? Prince Hiro, prince of found family, adopted royal son of Hoth, son of Mandalore."
Frost jumped up and down.
"ME! ME NEXT!"
Winter laughed.
"And here's your crown, crown prince Frost, prince of the snow and ice, royal of Hoth."
Elias rolled his eyes.
"I forgot we had actual titles. What was mine again? King Elias, King of the ice and what lies underneath, royal of Hoth?"
Winter laughed.
"You nailed it hun. Mine is just as long. Queen Winter, Queen of the snow and kyber, royal of Hoth. There should be Rebellion heroes or something like that in there too. It just won't fit on paper."
Elias laughed.
"Alrighty. Let's get it over. Frost, hit the ramp doors. Hold my hand. Hiro, stand beside me and let Winter stand on the other side."
Frost smacked the ramp button. When the ramp opened, and the light of Coruscant hit them, they shone like gems. The Kyber upon their heads had an ethereal glow, and the crowd grew silent. They started to stride down the ramp.

Hiro walked out with his head high. He walked beside his new family. The mandalorian prince was worried, looking around and keeping and eye on their surroundings.
He swore he'd seen as trouper.. but it could have been a mistake

As the walked closer to Leia, the Coruscant paparazzi were taking photos and whispering. Winter knew what it was about. Hiro was something new. That no one knew about. He was something for them to gawk at.
Winter gently touched Hiro's forearm.
"Don't worry. The paparazzi don't dare touch us. And I know you saw the white armor and it probably put you on edge. Those are senate guards. They wear repurposed clone and storm trooper armor. They can't hurt you. Just smile and wave."
They drew close to Leia and the Pantoran and Mandalorian senators. Elias spoke.
"Greetings senators from Mandalore. I see you might be taking interest in our newest addition. This is Hiro. Adopted by traditional Mandalorian foundling laws. As instructed to us by him."
The Mandalorians looked at Hiro.
"Who were your people before you became a foundling?"
On the other side of Hiro, Winter embraced Leia.
"It is so good to see you Leia. The stories we could tell you that have happened in the past week. It's insane. We ran into an Imperial cell in the outer rim. Their base was taken out. I wish I could say it was me, but Frost here had it handled quite unintentionally. That's what happens when someone throws a temper tantrum in the cockpit."
Winter turned and nodded towards Leia's brother.
"It's nice to finally meet you. You're name is Luke correct? I see you have a student. Elias and I have also adopted our own student. His name is Hiro. I would be more than willing to show you his abilities later on if you will allow it."
Leia's brother nodded.
"You are correct. I'm Luke Skywalker and this is my student, Prince Finn of Artorias. I could sense you student had a way with the Force. He's much different. He carries a lot of past hurts."
Winter grimaced.
"He does indeed carry past hurts. So much so, his weapon of choice has a black blade. It exudes sadness. It was a heavy burden for me to carry for him while I put it up so he could have a moment's peace."
Luke put his hand to his face and looked deep in thought.
"I will watch him closely. I would like later on, if you will allow it, let my student show yours around the senate and the old Jedi temple. It could bring closure and open new doorways for him."
Winter smiled.
"That was be fantastic. It would be good for Hiro."
Luke stuck out his hand and Winter shook it.
Frost however was harassing the Pantoran senators and they were loving every bit of it. Luke looked over towards the Pantorans and smiled.
"I see your son is still just as wild as ever. He's growing stronger you know. And it's happening much faster than I would have ever thought. It is impressive. You guys are doing incredibly well with him."
Winter laughed.
"Yes. He's got too much of his father in him. I just hope he turns out somewhat similar. It would be amazing…"

Hiro sighed " dalia shimada and Hiroshima shimada were my parents. Part of the royal guard" he said, bowing his head slightly. A sign of respect his parents had taught him.

Hiro had seen his little brother out the corner of his eye as the boy ran to him. He used the force to carry frost and into his arms. " I got you little brother!" He taunted, goldenish smoke flowing out his lips. " You should go tease ama,"

The Mandalorian senators nodded and thought for a second.
"We must tell you that no royal guardians made it out alive. You know this. We also know that you are part of that bloodline. We request that you learn the old ways. The techniques and styles of the temple guardians. We need to keep it alive."
Winter watched as Hiro used the Force and brought Frost closer to him. She looked at Elias and widened her eyes. Elias looked at her and nodded. He gently touched Hiro on the back.
"Careful when you use the Force out here. Watch Luke and Finn. They don't use the Force out in public. the people know they are Force sensitive, but Luke knows the paparazzi. And Luke knows that eyes are everywhere. inside the senate building, you are free to use it anywhere. Out here, use it sparingly. The Empire isn't completely dead yet. And they will take any chance they can get to land a blow on a Jedi."

Hiro nodded and sighed " id love to learn," he said and bit his tongue. The cloud turned bloody red before disappearing. He walked over to Luke and his Padawan "hello." He said with a small bow

Elias covered his mouth to hide a laugh. When the Mandalorian senators walked away Elias looked at Hiro.
"Mmm. I could see that you were completely interested in learning the old Mandalorian ways. Don't worry, I'm not going to teach you those outdated moves. We'll work on something with Win to create your own unique style."
Elias backed up behind Win and watched as Hiro went to go say hello to the Prince of Artorias. As Hiro approached, the prince stood taller. When Hiro said hello, Prince Finn bowed.
"It is very nice to meet you. It's been so long since I've seen someone like me, besides Master Skywalker here."

Hiro gave a soft smile and bowed as well. " It is definitely something I enjoy to see," he said.
The mandalorian looked around once more, watching an odd ship circle the sky. His breath held still for a moment

Winter and Elias looked up at the ship in the sky. Winter looked at Leia. Who was just as confused. The ship stopped in front of the platform and hovered. Leia barked into a comlink, and the whole platform bustled with action. That ship wasn't supposed to be there. Elias looked at Winter and Elias beckoned to Frost. All three Hothians covered themselves in ice armor. Frost stayed back and stood in front of Leia. Winter and Elias ran forward and ignited their sabers. Luke followed suite. He barked over to Elias.
"What's the situation? Who is this?"
Elias barked back.
"Based on the color and make of the ship, it's from Artorias, but it's bee repurposed. It's the Yuuzhan Vong. They're here for your student."
Winter yelled over her shoulder.
"HIRO! Cover Finn! It's the Yuuzhan Vong! They're here for him."
Luke looked at Winter and Elias.
"What's the plan?"
Winter smiled.
"Oh you know the plan and so does Elias."
Elias groaned and created an ice shield for himself, and offered one to Luke.
"We're the bait. She's running back to Leia and then charging. Shield lock to create a ramp and I'll launch her. Then we draw fire."
Luke laughed and took the shield.
"I have never experienced your shenanigans. But I think I need to hang out with you guys a lot more."
Luke yelled over his shoulder.
"Finn, be prepared to fight!"
Finn looked at Hiro.
"Just warning you, I've never had to kill anyone. I don't know if I could do it…"

"I've been in hellashus dogfights. I'm not scared to." He said and ignited his saber. The black blade wavered slightly before staying as true as it's wielder.
The mandalorian shut off his emotions. A blackened cloud floating around him

Winter jogged back to Leia and glanced over at Hiro. He was providing cover as well as defense. She leaned down and quickly kissed Frost on the head.
"Watch Ama baby. Memorize the movements."
Frost nodded in understanding. Winter whistled and Luke and Elias got into position. She took off running and firmly planted her feet on the shields, and once she hit Elias' shield, he groaned with effort, and launched her far enough to land on the ship. Luke looked at him.
"Dang son how physically strong are you? You think you can launch me?"
Elias laughed.
"Give me your shield. I think I have one launch left in me. Jog back to Leia and sprint as fast you can towards me. I'll get you there."
Luke ran back to Leia and sprinted to Elias, and Elias launched him and he landed on the ship.
Winter heard another thud on the ship and looked over her shoulder and she laughed.
"What are you doing up here?"
Luke laughed.
"I'm just helping you out. I also wanted to test your husband's strength. He's incredibly strong. Anyways, let's get this hatch open. You go in first. You have the body armor. Take the blaster fire for me."
Winter rolled her eyes.
"You just don't want to get shot at. Whatever. Get the hatch open and I'll drop in."
Luke cut open the hatch and opened it.
"Bombs away ice queen!"
Winer jumped into the hatch and started swinging. Not long afterward, Luke followed suite.
"Nice. Clean sweep. To the cockpit?"
Winter nodded.
"To the cockpit."
Elias was on the landing pad, dodging blaster bolts and running himself ragged. He called on the comlink to Winter.
"Hun, I dearly love you, but hurry up! I'm sick of running around. Frost and Hiro are fine as of right now."
Movement from the back of the ship caught his eye.
"WIN TO THE REAR! The ship is dropping reinforcements on the landing pad!"
Winter heard Elias on the comlink and cursed.
"Alright Luke. You get cockpit. I get rear. GO!"
Luke didn't have to be told twice. he took off towards the cockpit.
Elias yelled back towards Hiro.
"HIRO! PROTECT PRINCE FINN FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN! I'M GOING TO NEED YOU SOON THOUGH!"
Elias looked back towards Frost and yelled back to him.
SON! BUBBLE UP! CREATE A SHIELD! PROTECT LEIA AND THE SENATORS!"
Frost nodded and put Leia's hand on his shoulder. His eyes began to glow and he sat on the landing pad and created a Force shield to cover himself and the senators. He looked at Leia and spoke softly.
"I can only hold this for five minutes. If you will allow it, I can draw power from you. You have the Force too…"
Leia looked down at Frost and immediately got on her knees behind him, and put both hands on his shoulders.
"Draw power from me Little Prince. Protect us all."
Frost pushed his hands onto the landing pad and began to hold the shield.

Prince Finn was shell shocked. He didn't know what to deal with. When Hiro was shot, it took everything in him not to run. He responded to Hiro.
"I'm not doing so hot! I'm terrified!"
Winter was destroying the soldier bay and everyone inside of it. She jumped out of the ship, and landed roughly on the landing pad. She looked up and saw Elias fighting. And out of the corner of her eye, she saw a blaster shot nail Hiro in the chest. She watched him stagger, but he remained standing. She ran towards Elias. When she cut her way through and reached him she spoke quickly.
"Hiro. A shot to the chest. The breastplate saved him. Medic. Now. I'll fight."
Elias didn't argue. He ran towards Hiro with all haste. he reached Hiro and put his lightsaber on his belt. He threw out his arms and they began to glow green.
"Hiro. Put my hands where there is pain! Quickly. I can fix it. I'm the Medic of the Hoth trio. Win is the fighter, Frost holds the shield, and I heal. We've all got to get back into this fight!"
Frost was holding steady. It had been longer than five minutes. He didn't hear what Leia was saying to him. All he knew was that he was at peace and the shield was holding strong.
Leia was speaking praises and hopes to Frost while he was holding the shield. She didn't know how much Frost had left in him, but she was astonished that he could hold out for this long.

Hiro did, and felt his pain disapate as well as his energy restore. "Go help little brother." Hiro said and drew his blade once more

"Prince! Behind my back!" He yelled and took another fighting stance. Once again Hiro laid out smoke as an advantage to his family.
They could see through it, the enemy couldn't.

Elias laughed.
"Frost is holding his own. We have to see how long he can hold. That's part of his training. He's doing his job. I've got to go help Win. She's holding her own and she can continue to hold her own, but I know she's starting to become exhausted. Everyone can only fight for so long."
Prince Finn stood behind Hiro and steadied his lightsaber. He was going to try and fight, but he didn't know if he could do it.

Hiro watched finn and rolled his eyes. Hiro pushed himself into overdrive, fighting with cold emotions, the only thing he hoped is that his little brother didn't see that side of him.

Finn was blocking blaster bolts and going with the flow of the Force, until one stray soldier broke the lines and charged him. In a moment of desperation, Finn slashed with his saber and killed him. He froze in terror and sank to his knees behind Hiro.
Luke was in the cockpit of the ship. He gained control of the blaster systems, and turned the tide of the battle. In a matter of moments, the remaining enemies were no more. Winter and Elias finally lowered their sabers, and breathed. Luke spoke on the ship's speaker system.
"Everyone good down there? Good. Winter and Elias I'm going to need you to get your son, he's still holding the shield and he's standing and glowing now. Leia is no longer touching his shoulders. He's drawing power from something. He needs to stop before he hurts himself."
Winter and Elias looked back at Frost. His hair was gently floating and he was faintly glowing. He looked completely at peace. But they both knew that Luke was right. Frost was still very young, and the amount of power he was drawing and pulling through him was far too much. They both walked and stood in front of the shield. Winter closed her eyes and reached out towards Frost. She pushed her hand through the shield, and gently touched her son.
"Hey baby. It's all over now. You can put the shield down. Ada and I are here. We got you."
Elias pushed through the shield and picked up his son. As Frost started to open his eyes, the shield disappeared. Frost looked around and reached up towards his father's face.
"I beat my record…"
He promptly passed out from exhaustion. Winter kissed her son's head and looked towards Leia.
"Is everyone alright?"
Leia looked around.
"I think so. But Prince Finn over there is looking a little shell shocked. I don't think he's ever experienced anything really like this. He was taken from Artorias before really any fighting broke out. This is all new to him."

Hiro had seen and bent down to pull Finn into a hug. "It's okay.. I promise.." he whispered to the Padawan.
The boy held the other as long as needed, his force cloud turning a light pink. It was a caring color, a show of emotion that Hiro didn't have often.
"It gets better, the shock isn't so rough.. just, hold onto this feeling, never let yourself become numb to this. "

Finn welcomed the hug that came from Hiro.
"I really hope the shock disappears. I know that eventually that I'll have to do this more often. On Artorias. Only if the senators here finally ally with us and send forces to fight. That's why I came back here… And I will try my hardest to not become numb to this feeling. I take pride in wearing my heart on my sleeve."
Winter and Elias watched from a distance. They looked at each other and Elias gently shifted frost around in his arms. His fist bumped Winter.
"Look who is talking to the Prince of Artorias. This has potential…"
Luke walked behind Winter and Elias, and whispered behind them.
"You do know attachments are forbidden for a Jedi. Right?"
Winter waved Luke off.
"Luke, attachments build strength. Look at Elias and I. We're more in tune with each other, and our child is more in tune with the Force, at four years of age, than your student is. I'm going to encourage attachments. I think they were what was missing when the Jedi Order was in full power. If I remember correctly, your father wouldn't have fallen to the Dark Side if the Order had let his relationship with your mother be."
Winter heard a cackle. Leia was laughing.
"Luke, she's got you there. Father wouldn't have fallen if the Order let him and mom be. We might have been some royalty of Coruscant or something. But I do know you would have never had to grow up on that dust bowl of a planet. Tatooine was rough."
Luke ruffled his hair.
"True. I honestly wish the Empire had blown up Tatooine instead of Alderraan. A lot of my problems would have been fixed."
Winter, Elias, and Leia laughed.

Hiro had heard them and tilted his head "trauma dumping are we?" He asked playfully.
He smiled at Finn and ushered him up " come on and I might let you force fight me."

Winter and Elias laughed at Leia and Luke and their antics.
"Alrighty. We didn't mean to start something between you two. As for you Hiro, we can Force fight the Prince later. All of us need a hot shower, a good meal, and some sleep."
Leia agreed.
"Food is a must. Why don't you and your family join Luke, Finn, and I for dinner? My husband may show up, but you know Han. He's out in the galaxy somewhere fighting bounty hunters and blowing up ex Imperials. However, he loves hanging out with Luke, and I have a feeling he will like Elias. And I know for a fact Chewbacca would absolutely adore Frost."
Elias looked at Winter.
"We don't have any other plans, and a wookie lookout for Frost does sound like a fantastic idea. Please?"
Winter looked at Elias and playfully shoved him.
"I wasn't going to say no hun. It sounds like a fantastic idea."
Finn looked at Hiro.
"Dinner with your family and you sounds fantastic. I would love to hear the stories you guys tell. Please. Sit beside me at dinner. Tell me your story."
