Winter smiled.
"Thanks kiddo."
She went into the medical bay and sat down. Soon enough a medical droid came by and ran a few blood tests. When the droid came back, it issued a mechanical congratulations. She thought it was odd. Until she read the blood test results. She stood up and bolted out of the medical bay to go back to Leia. She ran past Hiro and Finn, and Finn looked up confused. She continued running until she hit Leia's hall. As she was running through Leia's living quarters, she started yelling for her.
"LEIA! Where are you?! Oh my stars I got the blood results back."
Leia frantically appeared out of her room.
"My stars Win what is going on?!"
Winter thrust the blood test results into Leia's hands and watched her eyes widened, and then Leia started laughing.
"Oh my stars. You've been busy I can see. Congrats Win. Have you told Elias yet?"
Winter tried to calm her racing heart.
"No I haven't. I need to find him. Can you call him here?"
Leia smiled.
"Of course I can."
She pulled out a comlink.
"Hey Elias, I'm going to need you to come to my hall. I have an important matter I need to discuss with you and Winter. If you can come as soon as possible that would be great."
Elias heard his comlink crackle and he heard Leia's voice. He scooped up Frost and headed to Leia's hall.
Hiro felt his mother's force motion. He ran to her as well, tears welling in his eyes as his brain thought the worst.
Blackish-grey smoke filled the halls
Elias walked around the corner holding Frost.
"What's up?"
Winter looked at Elias and tried to keep a straight face as Leia handed him the paper she had been holding. Elias started reading. He froze, and tears welled up in his eyes.
"Really? Are you really?"
Winter nodded, tears welling in her eyes too. Elias set Frost down and embraced Winter gently.
"This is truly the best surprise I could have gotten today."
Finn cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry to break the moment but what's going on? We came running because we saw Winter sprint out of the medical bay. Hiro and I are both pretty tense right now."
Elias laughed and wiped tears from his eyes.
"There's nothing wrong boys. In fact, it's on of the best days of my life. This piece of paper holds the results to Winter's blood test. And looking at it, the blood test shows that I'm going to be a dad, and the both of you,"
Elias gestured to Hiro and Frost,
"Are going to be big brothers."
Frost stopped moving and looked at his father.
"I'm going to be a what now?"
“You're going to be a big brother too, but you'll always be my little brother,” he said and scooped frost up, spinning him around happily
It finally clicked for Frost.
"THERE'S GONNA BE ANOTHER ME?!"
Elias laughed and Winter laughed, Finn snorted, and Leia tried to hide the smile that was beaming from under her hand. Leia clasped her hands together.
"This is a huge announcement. People in the senate are going to go wild. If it's alright with you, I would like to announce that you're expecting at the next senate meeting. You're bound to get a lot of support."
Winter nodded.
"That would be fantastic. From the looks of the blood tests, I'm about two months along. I'll find out the gender of the baby in about a month and a half. To be honest, I was not expecting to find out that I am going to have another child. I was really expecting that I had a cold or something. This is all fantastic."
Elias chuckled.
"I guess I have to get ready huh? If I remember correctly, you didn't start showing until about seven and a half to eight months. And you continued fighting until you were eight months along. Don't get me wrong, it made me panic every time you fought, but you were always so careful."
Winter smiled.
"You know it hun. I'm in the action until I can't be."
She looked at Hiro.
"This does not change our sparring and training schedule."
“Yes ama,” he said and personally noted to go easier with winter.
Hiro yawned softly, his feelings and emotions matching that of a few around him
Winter laughed.
"You don't need to change anything about how we spar Hiro. I'm all good. Now if I really think about this, I might make training a little harder. Or I might put more focus on defense rather than offense."
Elias smiled and gently placed his hand on Winter's stomach.
"I cannot wait to meet you little one. But you've sure chosen a time to live in…"
Winter laughed at Elias' comment. But she knew that he was right.
"Alright everyone. Shall we go tell the other Jedi that missed out on all this wonderful news? And a particular ex smuggler and wookie companion?"
Frost raised his hands and howled like a wookie.
"Ghraghhh! That means yes in wookie. Chewbacca taught me!"
Elias laughed at his son's antics.
"Well come on then. You can tell him you're going to be a big brother."
Hiro chuckled and took finns hand “you said you had something to show me, so come on!” he said happily but with a soft tone
Finn looked at Hiro in confusion. He whispered.
"I don't remember saying anything about showing you anything… But maybe I did and just forgot."
Winter looked at the two boys.
"We'll see you boys later. At dinner okay? Don't get into too much trouble."
“Yes ma’am,” hiro said. He knew Finn hadn't said anything, he just needed a moment. He was going to tell him how he felt..
Finn followed Hiro.
"Where are we going? Are you trying to get me to spend time with you? You do know you can always ask."
Hiro chuckled once they were far enough away from any windows or doors. “N.. No. I just needed to do something..” he mumbled
Finn raised his eyebrows.
"And what do you intend to do? Kidnap me? Seduce me?"
“Just this..” hiro mumbled before kissing Finn softly.
Finn was taken aback.
“Hiro…”
Finn kissed him softly back.
“Ya know if you wanted to seduce me all you had to do was ask.”
Hiro chuckled “ you know I'm a fan of suspense “
Finn rolled his eyes and laughed.
"Oh I know. I've been a witness first hand in training. You always have to build the suspense."
Hiro laughed a little harder and kept Finn closer “so, you wanna be my boyfriend “
Finn crossed his arms.
"Well… I don't know… It would make my father incredibly angry…"
Finn tried to hide a smirk and to cover his oncoming laughter.
"I would love to be Hiro."

Hiro chuckled softly and nestled Finn's nose "good, I'm glad."
Finn pulled away and looked into Hiro's eyes.
"Should we tell Winter and Elias? Should we tell Master Skywalker? What would he even think?"
(Don't worry homie. I get it. Take your time. I don't plan to go anywhere.)
"you can tell them when you're ready, just know that I talk to my mother, she will be the only one to know first and she can keep a secret"
Finn smiled.
"I don't think you family will mind. They seem really accepting. I love their dynamic."
"yeah, that they are, come on Finn, you can tell ada."
Finn followed Hiro.
"Me tell him? He's your adopted father! What about Frost? How is he going to handle all of this news in a single day? From finding out he's going to be a big brother, and now that his adopted brother is in a relationship? Is he going to be okay?"
" frost suggested telling you," he said
Finn blinked.
"What? After all this time, Frost knows? How?"
