" My father used me as a blood bag I had to feed all my brothers and a few vampires" Betty said.
”He… What?!?” Lysander could barely believe that anyone could treat this girl that way. What kind of a father is he? He closed his eyes to restrain himself before he looked at Betty. ”Because he is your father, I won't hurt him, if only for your sake but I promise you that kind of thing will never happen again.”
”You’re welcome.” was his simple reply. He was aware that he was not human anymore but that wouldn't stop Lysander from showing the girl the decency and respect she should have been given her whole life. ”Now, if you're not going to tell me how this cut suddenly appeared on its own, at least let me bind it.”
"No it won't work it has to heal on it's own" Betty said.
”So you’ll risk your own health?” he asked, raising a brow. No vampire had the ability to heal another person, without turning them and he had no intention of robbing her of her life.
She took his hand and put it on her cheek "Look" Betty's eyes turned white once more. she showed him the moment she was born and her mother died. A moment when her brothers fed on her. She showed him where they kissed after she got done showing him this vision. She showed him a near death experince with a vampire and she showed them kissing on thier wedding day. She slowly started to remove her hand.
Lysander let out a small gasp of surprise as the images played out in his mind. He committed the face of the vampire she showed him to memory but he wouldn't touch her family. The sight of them kissing, not once but twice, was like watching a dream. He knew their wedding was going to happen no matter what but he wasn't going to rush her into it but the vision of her in that dress… It didn't seem too far ahead. ”You’re an Oracle.” he nearly whispered.
Betty pulled back "I'm not normal" She said a cut growing on her neck.
“You’re gifted,” he argued gently, making himself look only at her eyes. ”A gift like yours should be treasured. You should never have gone through all that torture. Now, please, let me bandage those cuts. If not for your sake, then for mine.” Lysander begged.
Lysander shook his head. ”You don't understand. I am barely restraining myself… If I don't get something around those cuts… My only other option would be to leave the house for a while.”
”Thank you.” he said softly, giving her a light kiss on her cheek before running at an inhuman speed to get the medical supplies he bought recently.
Lysander flinched as he started walking back to her holding some bandages for all three injuries. ”Uh, Betty? Could you please not say stuff like that?”
"Sorry I forgot your a vampire " Betty said looking down at her feet.
”It’s alright. Those words don't really do any damage, it's more of a strong discomfort.” He reassured. ”Now, let's take care of your neck first.”
Lysander had to force himself to concentrate on the medical aspect of what he was doing. He's had many people tilt their heads in similar positions but for an entirely different reason. ”Thankfully it doesn't seem very deep and it missed your arteries.” he noted as he bandaged the cut.
Lysander gave a thoughtful hum as he moved on to her arm. ”And these only appear after your visions. Do they vary in depth or location depending on how many or how long you see something?”
”Interesting.” Lysander visibly relaxed as he finished bandaging her arm. ”Sorry, if my questions are annoying. I just have never met an Oracle before, only heard of them.”
"Tah-da Here I am the woman your forced to marry" she said.
