”Rest well, my angel.” he whispered comfortingly as he placed a soft kiss to her cheek. ”I’ll be back soon.”

Betty was already asleep

He smiled a little before he flew out the window to the spot he had pointed out and sat down by the lake, starting his practice.

An hour had passed and Betty woke up gasping she had a dream. That alec had forced himself in her she went downstairs and got a glass of water but she was shaking too bad and she dropped it breaking the glass cutting up her hand she got on her knees picking up the glass with her bloody hand

Lysander had just walked back and reached the door when he heard glass break. He ran into the kitchen, smelling blood right away. ”Betty! Are you alright?”.

She didn't answer picking up the glass cutting her hand morr each time

He ran over and crouched beside her. ”Here. Let me get that.” he said gently before taking the glass shards from her.

She still tried to pick up the remaining pieces of glass

He quickly threw away the glass in his hands and gently took her wrists to stop her. ”Betty, it's alright. I’ll clean it up.” he said kindly.

" no i' she said blood running down her fingers

”Shhh… Shhh… It's alright.” he comforted, rubbing her arms gently before hugging her.

Betty cried into his chest her tears falling on her shirt

He nodded slightly and let her cry against him as he made soothing movements on her back.

" I'm sorry' she sobbed

”It’s alright, love. It's alright.” he said gently, still holding her.

Betty continued to shake uncontrollably

Lysander held her closer and gently picked her up, away from the broken glass, to carry her to the couch.

She wimoered

”I’m right here, angel.” he assured her soothingly. ”I’m not going anywhere. You're safe.”

She shook her head violently

He frowned a little in confusion from her actions but held her closer and gently stroked her hair. ”What’s wrong, love?”
