"I love you." he told her gently.

He relaxed at her response and let himself lean against the back of the couch, still holding her. "Is there any way I can make it up to you for last night?" he asked.

She shook her head no

He sighed and nodded softly in understanding. "I'm sorry."

she sighed ¨You can go practice¨ she said

He nodded a little, knowing it was the smarter thing to do, and reluctantly let go of her. ”I’ll be back in an hour.” he promised gently.

¨that´s what you said last night¨ she mubled.

He winced a little at the reminder but didn't defend himself. ”I know.” he sighed. ”I… If you don't want me to, I don't have to go today.” he offered.

¨No. . .just go¨ she said standing uo

He sighed in disappointment but nodded as he stood up. ”I’m sorry.” he said again before walking towards the door.

He stopped and slowly turned to look at her, a small bit of hope in his eyes.

He gave a small smile and walked back to her and wrapped his arms around her.

She hugged him tightly

His hug was a little gentler than hers, so she could pull away whenever she wanted, but he didn't mind her strong grip.

" can you take me upstairs and tuck me in then you can leave it you want" she asked

”Of course, love.” He nodded and picked her up before heading to the stairs. ”I don't have to leave if you don't want me to.”

" no it's ok" she said

”Alright.” he nodded as he set her on the bed. He smiled and gestured out the window. ”You see that spot right over there near the lake?”

She nodded

”I’ll just be right there practicing.” he told her. ”And I won’t be long this time. Just going to try a few exercises to help control it without making a fireball.”
