He let out a small groan and took off his shoes before laying down on the bed but he was hesitant to hold her… Then again if he didn't hold her, she might be angrier. Cautiously, he reached over and placed a hand on her upper arm.
She nudged away from him feeling someone touch her
He sighed and leaned over a bit, moving his hand a little. ”It’s alright, angel, it's me.” he whispered to her, not wanting to wake her up. ”I’m sorry I wasn't here earlier. I’ll make it up to you.” he murmured, resting his forehead against the back of her shoulder.
She again moved away
He sighed again and pulled back. He gently placed a kiss on her cheek before sitting back up.
The next morning she walked downstairs Avoiding Lysander at all costs
Lysander had barely slept so he noticed when she left the room. He got up and walked downstairs a few minutes later and stayed in the next room.
She got a water chugging it
He sighed and walked up to the doorway. ”Betty. I’m so sorry.” he said sincerely. ”I lost track of time and had to hunt before I came back. I didn't mean to let you sleep alone.”
She ignored him and walked past him
He let her walk past and made no attempt to stop her. She had every right to be angry at him. ”Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?” he asked, not really expecting an answer.
She walked past him out the door
He groaned, sat down and placed his head in his hands.
She sat on the deck legs crossed
He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. “I’m such an idiot.” he muttered to himself. ”I don't deserve her and she shouldn't have to put up what I’ve put her through.”
Betty closed her eyes gently
Lysander stood up and began pacing.
Dhe didn't move
He growled softly at himself, his hands were getting warmer.
Betty gently walked back in
Lysander stopped pacing when he heard her enter.
She closed the door and sat on the couch silently
He walked over to the sink and ran his hands under cold water.
Betty sniffled wiping her eyes
He froze at the sound as he was drying his hands before walking over to the doorway. He wanted to hold her and apologize again.
